Popstar Sarah Geronimo once again takes TV entertainment on a higher level with a string of unforgettable world-class surprises this Sunday (June 3) in her solo musical variety show “Sarah G. Live!”
 
In an episode themed  ’music, magic and laughter night,’ Sarah will be joined  for the second time by Rockoustic Heartthrob Sam Milby as the Popstar’s guest co-host. “SGL” will also be graced by OPM legend Hajji Alejandro;  ”Hiyas” lead star Megan Young; and famous American-Japanese magician Cyril Takayama.

Youngest M.D.: Sho Yano College Freshman at 9, M.D. at 21


Sho Yano is the youngest M.D. graduating from the Chicago Medical School. He is 21 and will receive the degree this week. Sho Yano is one of these super smart kids. He was able to read with 2 years and write when he was 3.

Sho Yano has been a college student for 12 years, but it's only recently that he looks as if he belongs, blending in with undergrad students in a Hyde Park coffee shop.

This week, the 21-year-old will complete the journey he began as a 9-year-old college freshman, becoming the youngest student in the University of Chicago's history to receive an M.D.

Yano was reading at age 2, writing by 3 and composing music by his 5th birthday. He graduated from Loyola University in three years — summa cum laude, no less. When he entered U. of C.'s prestigious Pritzker School of Medicine at 12, it was into one of the school's most rigorous programs, where students get both their doctorate and medical degrees.

Stealth Destroyer: America's Answer to China


A super-stealthy warship that could underpin the U.S. navy's China strategy will be able to sneak up on coastlines virtually undetected and pound targets with electromagnetic "railguns" right out of a sci-fi movie.

But at more than $3 billion a pop, critics say the new DDG-1000 destroyer sucks away funds that could be better used to bolster a thinly stretched conventional fleet. One outspoken admiral in China has scoffed that all it would take to sink the high-tech American ship is an armada of explosive-laden fishing boats.

With the first of the new ships set to be delivered in 2014, the stealth destroyer is being heavily promoted by the Pentagon as the most advanced destroyer in history — a silver bullet of stealth. It has been called a perfect fit for what Washington now considers the most strategically important region in the world — Asia and the Pacific.

Though it could come in handy elsewhere, like in the Gulf region, its ability to carry out missions both on the high seas and in shallows closer to shore is especially important in Asia because of the region's many island nations and China's long Pacific coast.

"With its stealth, incredibly capable sonar system, strike capability and lower manning requirements — this is our future," Adm. Jonathan Greenert, chief of naval operations, said in April after visiting the shipyard in Maine where they are being built.

On a visit to a major regional security conference in Singapore that ended Sunday, U.S. Defense Secretary Leon Panetta said the Navy will be deploying 60 percent of its fleet worldwide to the Pacific by 2020, and though he didn't cite the stealth destroyers he said new high-tech ships will be a big part of its shift.

The DDG-1000 and other stealth destroyers of the Zumwalt class feature a wave-piercing hull that leaves almost no wake, electric drive propulsion and advanced sonar and missiles. They are longer and heavier than existing destroyers — but will have half the crew because of automated systems and appear to be little more than a small fishing boat on enemy radar.

Down the road, the ship is to be equipped with an electromagnetic railgun, which uses a magnetic field and electric current to fire a projectile at several times the speed of sound.

But cost overruns and technical delays have left many defense experts wondering if the whole endeavor was too focused on futuristic technologies for its own good.

They point to the problem-ridden F-22 stealth jet fighter, which was hailed as the most advanced fighter ever built but was cut short because of prohibitive costs. Its successor, the F-35 Joint Strike Fighter, has swelled up into the most expensive procurement program in Defense Department history.

"Whether the Navy can afford to buy many DDG-1000s must be balanced against the need for over 300 surface ships to fulfill the various missions that confront it," said Dean Cheng, a China expert with the Heritage Foundation, a conservative research institute in Washington. "Buying hyperexpensive ships hurts that ability, but buying ships that can't do the job, or worse can't survive in the face of the enemy, is even more irresponsible."

The Navy says it's money well spent. The rise of China has been cited as the best reason for keeping the revolutionary ship afloat, although the specifics of where it will be deployed have yet to be announced. Navy officials also say the technologies developed for the ship will inevitably be used in other vessels in the decades ahead.

But the destroyers' $3.1 billion price tag, which is about twice the cost of the current destroyers and balloons to $7 billion each when research and development is added in, nearly sank it in Congress. Though the Navy originally wanted 32 of them, that was cut to 24, then seven.

Now, just three are in the works.

"Costs spiraled — surprise, surprise — and the program basically fell in on itself," said Richard Bitzinger, a security expert at Singapore's Nanyang Technological University. "The DDG-1000 was a nice idea for a new modernistic surface combatant, but it contained too many unproven, disruptive technologies."

The U.S. Defense Department is concerned that China is modernizing its navy with a near-term goal of stopping or delaying U.S. intervention in conflicts over disputed territory in the South China Sea or involving Taiwan, which China considers a renegade province.

China is now working on building up a credible aircraft carrier capability and developing missiles and submarines that could deny American ships access to crucial sea lanes.

The U.S. has a big advantage on the high seas, but improvements in China's navy could make it harder for U.S. ships to fight in shallower waters, called littorals. The stealth destroyers designed to do both. In the meantime, the Navy will begin deploying smaller Littoral Combat Ships to Singapore later this year.

Officially, China has been quiet on the possible addition of the destroyers to Asian waters.

But Rear Adm. Zhang Zhaozhong, an outspoken commentator affiliated with China's National Defense University, scoffed at the hype surrounding the ship, saying that despite its high-tech design it could be overwhelmed by a swarm of fishing boats laden with explosives. If enough boats were mobilized some could get through to blow a hole in its hull, he said.

"It would be a goner," he said recently on state broadcaster CCTV's military channel.

The much-awaited interview-meeting of Carmina Villaroel's previous husband Rustom Padilla (now known as BB Gandanghari) and her current husband Zoren Legaspi finally happened on Friday, June 1, at NAPA Restaurant in Quezon City and aired on TV5's showbiz talk show "Paparazzi Showbiz Exposed" on Saturday morning, June 2.

Zoren Legaspi: “Good afternoon mga Kapatid! I don’t know where to start, matagal nang hinintay 'to, pero urong-sulong ang communication kung magaganap ba o hindi. Pero ngayon, believe it or not it’s going to happen… and I’m here right now with Madame BB Gandanghari.”
BB Gandanghari: Hello.

Zoren: “Is that correct? OK lang ba sayong tawagin kitang Madame BB Gandanghari?”
BB: “Pwede bang BB lang?”

Zoren, “Kasi, unang-una, hindi ko alam kung anong sasabihin ko. Papaano ko ba... how do I [address] her?”
BB: “No thank you, but yeah, BB is fine.”

Zoren: “This is really the first time na magkikita tayo.”
BB: “Tama! Tama! Actually, tinanong ako kanina dun sa pre-interview. Sabi ko 'Hindi pa kami nagkita. He has never met Rustom and I guess he's gonna be meeting BB,' so yeah.”

Zoren: “Nanay Cristy asked me, 'Kung iinterbyuhin mo si BB Gandanghari, ano yung unang itatanong mo sa kanya?' Out of nowhere I said, 'I want to know kung meron siyang sama ng loob sa akin or hinanakit.' Or something... na hindi mo pa nasasabi sa akin.”
BB: “Honestly wala, kasi sa totoo lang, wala ka naman talagang kinalaman dun sa kung ano man yung nangyari sa past ni Carmina at ni Rustom. At kung meron akong nararamdaman tungkol sa 'yo, hindi siguro sama ng loob o galit kundi pasasalamat actually, na I can see that you’re taking care of Carmina and I’m very happy. Ang gusto ko lang naman is mapunta sa maganda si Carmina... and I think that she’s very happy with you. If only for that, wala, wala, [akong] sama at samaan ng loob, wala. Galit, wala.”

Zoren: “Thank you! A, siguro para sa akin isang... how would I say it? Isang malaking tinik ang nawala sa akin. Dahil ayoko naman na meron kang sama ng loob sa akin… but you’re really correct, dahil I came when everything was already gone.”
BB: “Kung ang pag-uusapan si Rustom ha, kumbaga, bago pa namayapa si Rustom, hindi siguro sama ng loob yun o tampo, kung hindi, of course, at that time, parang siguro wini-wish niya na yung happiness na nararamdaman ninyong dalawa is sana na-experience din niya yun, siguro yun lang yun.”

Zoren: “Sino yung mga unang pumasok sa isipan mo sa iyong pag-amin na 'This is me.' Sino yung top three?”
BB: “Actually, dalawa lang, e. Sa nanay ko, siguro kasama na yung pamilya at saka kay Carmina. Si Carmina.”

Zoren: “Dun sa mother mo muna, ano yung initial reaction niya and how you say it?”
BB: “Yun na nga, pero alam mo, parang ironic, doon kasi, dun sa tatlong yun, si Carmina lang ang nakausap ko.”

Zoren: “What? Seriously? OK, nung aamin ka kay Carmina noon... nagpaalam siya sa akin and to be frank, I was afraid for her. Sabi ko, 'Teka, are you sure?' Alam mo, sabi niya sa akin, 'I think I owe him this.' Kasi the time na she needed to talk to you, pumayag kang kausapin siya… sabi niya, 'In return,' sabi niya, 'Papayag ako.'”
BB: “Dun ko nakilala si Carmina, dun nabuo yung respeto ko sa kanya… bilang tao. At sabi ko sa sarili ko na siguro sa lahat ng nangyari, it was a blessing na si Carmina yung naging parte kung may masakit man na nangyari o kung ano man pero… it was a blessing na kay Carmina. Lahat ng naging experience kasi napakaganda ng handling ng mga nangyari. I was very thankful and I was also very grateful na pumayag ka, kasi siyempre that time, may sarili na kayong buhay, e.”

Zoren: “Yes, pero you know, isa lang naman yung kinuwento niya sa akin, e, dun sa pag-uusap ninyo. You said sorry to her, you said sorry to her, and nagtawanan na lang kayo after that.”
BB: “Oo.”

Zoren: “Was it difficult for you to say 'Sorry?' Or was it difficult for you to say 'Eto ako. And I’m sorry for all those years or whatever na nagtago ako?'”
BB: “Yes and no, kasi it was difficult because I didn’t wanna make her feel na there was deception at that time because probably there wasn’t. So yung pagso-sorry is, kung mangyayari man ito ngayon, baka masaktan ka. Kaya ako nagso-sorry, or baka maapektuhan ka, or baka meron kang maisip na hindi maganda. Kaya ako nagso-sorry. It was difficult also na sabihin sa kanya yun kasi ayoko na kasi pahabain, e, di ba? But nangyari yun kasi out of respect. Kasi kung merong isang tao na nakakilala kay Rustom, I think si Carmina yun, e, so I just thought I owed it to her… the honesty and all.”

Zoren: “OK let’s compare, you and Rustom, not in a physical way, but more on character. Ano yung wala si Rustom noon, at si BB meron?”
BB: “Siguro one, puwede ko masabi, Rustom is very insecure. Masyadong people pleaser si Rustom, e, siguro that’s one major different sa ’ming dalawa. Ako ngayon, I’m very self-assured, I know what I want, I know what I can do, and I don’t please people. If people like me, well I’m good… kung hindi naman, wala tayong magagawa… talagang ganyan, you can’t please everyone.”

Zoren: “Some people tinitingnan nila, 'O, si BB she’s this now, wearing heels, but deep inside... marami pala siyang pinagdadaanan. Anong plano mo sa future? Can you honestly say na kompleto ka na?"
BB: “Well, I can say I’m happy, but I can be happier, I always say that.”

Zoren: “Tama pala yung mga hinala ko na it’s not that easy, meron talagang pinagdadaanan at merong mga trial araw-araw.”
BB: “Yes, yes! In fact, tinatanong nga nila if this a preference or what. Sabi ko, 'No, this is an orientation, my sexuality is an orientation; it’s not a preference. So it’s not a choice, because if this is a choice, wow! One hundred times kong iisipin if this will be my choice… but it’s not a choice… so kahit mahirap siya, kailangan mong harapin, kailangan mong tanggapin.”

Kinumpirma mismo ni Sam Pinto na walang iringan sa pagitan nila ni Solenn Heussaff matapos makatanggap ng mas maraming exposure ang huli sa pelikulang Boy Pick-Up The Movie. Ang pelikulang ito ay umiikot sa karkater na Boy Pick-Up ng singer-actor na si Ogie Alcasid. Ginagamit ni Ogie ang mga pick-up line para kay Neneng B na ginagampanan naman ni Sam. Magkaiba ang role ni Sam Pinto at Solenn Heussaff sa pelikula kung kaya hindi nila alam kung bakit kailangan pa silang intrigahin dito.

Si Solenn Heussaff ang magsisilbing leading lady sa pelikula samantalang si Sam Pinto ay lalabas lamang bilang tagasagot sa mga pick-up lines na ibabato ni Boy Pick up. Aminado ang dalawang dalaga na nabigla sila nang lumabas ang balitang may hindi sila pagkakaintindihan dahil sa pagkakaalam nila ay maganda ang kanilang samahan. Gumaganap si Solenn bilang Angel sa may-ari ng isang bakery sa naturang pelikula samantalang si Neneng B naman ay ang babae na nagtatanong ng ‘Bakit?’ kapag bumabanat na si Boy Pick Up.

Lalo panag pinag-igting ang kumpetisyon sa pagitan nina Sam Pinto at Solenn Heussaff dahil pareho silang finalist sa FHM Sexiest Pinay. Noong nakaraang taon ay si Sam ang nanalo at nakakuha ng pinakamaraming boto bilang Sexiest Pinay mula sa mga FHM readers at voters. Ngayong taon naman ay nanatili pa rin ang si Sam Pinto sa unang pwesto at pangatlo naman si Solen Heussaff.

Laki naman ang pasasalamat ni Sam sa lahat ng sumuporta sa kaniya at naniniwalang siya ang pinaka sexy na babae sa bansa. Hindi pa naman daw tapos ang voting kaya may pag-asa pa rin si Solenn na umakyat pa sa number one spot. Ayon kay Solenn Heussaff, maaaring parte lang ng promo ng pelikula ang mga naglalabasang isyu sa pagitan nila ni Sam Pinto. Mahaba rin naman daw ang magiging exposure ni Sam Pinto sa naturang pelikula dahil sa lahat ng major battles ay makikita siya. Ang sinasabing battles ay kung saan makikipagtalbugan si Boy Pick Up sa kaniyang mga kalaban sa pagbato ng mga pick-up line para kay Neneng B. Ang karakter naman ni Solenn Heussaff ay isang negosyante na tutulungan ni Ogie Alcasid para lumago ang bakery at dito na rin magsisimula ang kanilang pag-iibigan. Pinasinungalingan naman ni Sam ang mga balitang sinulot sa kaniya ni Solenn ang role na dapat ay para sa kaniya. Hiling ng dalawang dalaga na sina Sam Pinto at Solenn Heussaff ay tangkilikin na lang daw ang kanilang proyekto dahil tiyak na magiging masaya ito.

Weekend Box Office Results: Winners and Losers in the Box Office


Snow White And the Huntsman topped the box office chart over the weekend and captured an estimated $56.2 million. That’s a good number for a non-sequel, and the launch is much better than the last Snow White movie Mirror Mirror - which opened to $18 million and topped out at $62 million ($160 million globally).

Prometheus, on the other hand, grossed $35 million ahead of its cinema launch later this week.


Here's the Top 10 blockbuster movies this weekend:

Snow White And The Huntsman has had solid reviews (read ours) and its visuals have been compared to the Lord of The Rings films, and it should be noted that the opening of Snow White is ahead of The Fellowship of the Ring’s $47 million start, and just behind the $62 million start of The Two Towers. Those films went on to gross $315 million and $342 million respectively, although Snow White won’t come near these numbers. The film has grossed $39 million on foreign screens.

Men In Black 3 took a 46% hit from last weekend’s launch. The Will Smith starrer banked another $29.3 million and raised its cumulative gross to $112 million. It’s a solid number, but it must be remembered that the film cost somewhere in the region of $225-300 million (it’s grossed over $386 million worldwide). However, the sci-fi comedy looks set to be the lowest grossing instalment in the fifteen year-old franchise at the domestic box office.
The Avengers scored a further $20 million, raising its total to a mighty $552 million. The film is now the third highest grossing film of all-time behind Titanic ($658 million) and Avatar ($760 million), but it won’t trouble those films on the chart as it is beginning to lose forward momentum. The Marvel movie has now banked over $1.3 billion globally, a figure that also puts it third on the all-time worldwide chart.

Battleship grossed $4.8 million over the weekend, a number which raises its domestic total to $55 million. The costly film is inching towards $300 million globally, a number which puts it ahead of Taylor Kitsch’s other underperformer John Carter, although Battleship looks like it might not beat Carter’s $72 million domestic cume.

The Dictator laughed up an additional $4.7 million and raised its total gross to $50 million. The Sacha Baron Cohencomedy has accumulated more than $100 million globally.
The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel brought in $4.6 million for a $25 million total gross. That gives it over $100 million at the worldwide box office.

What to Expect When You’re Expecting should deliver $4.4 million worth of green, for a $30 million total. The comedy is beginning to stabilize, but it won’t get near $50 million.

Dark Shadows sunk its teeth into another $3.8 million, a number which brought its total gross to $70 million. It’s a solid number for the film that is closing in on $200 million worldwide.

Horror flick Chernobyl Diaries banked a smidgen over $3 million for a $14 million total.

The top ten was rounded out by For Greater Glory. The Andy Garcia drama grossed $1.8 million from 757 screens.

She sang her heart out as the murderous Velma Kelly in the film adaptation of the Broadway musical “Chicago” for which she received an Academy Award® for Best Supporting Actress.

Now, Catherine Zeta-Jones is back in another film version of a stage musical, New Line Cinema's “Rock of Ages” where she plays the mayor's wife, Patricia Whitmore, who leads a brigade of women bent on ridding the streets of all things rock ‘n’ roll.

Zeta-Jones says she leapt at the chance to sing and dance again after her Oscar-winning turn in “Chicago.” “When [director] Adam Shankman called me, I said yes without even looking at the script. I knew it would be a blast and I had to be a part of it,” she recalls. “And then I read the script and thought, ‘Wow, what a fun character.’”

“Patricia is a strong woman, so we needed an actress with a lot of presence,” notes Shankman. “Casting Catherine was a dream for me that basically came true.”

“Rock of Ages” tells the story of small town girl Sherrie (Julianne Hough) and city boy Drew (Diego Boneta), who meet on the Sunset Strip while pursuing their Hollywood dreams. Their rock ‘n’ roll romance is told through the heart-pounding hits of Def Leppard, Joan Jett, Journey, Foreigner, Bon Jovi, Night Ranger, REO Speedwagon, Pat Benatar, Twisted Sister, Poison, Whitesnake, and more.

The Patricia Whitmore character does not appear in the original Broadway musical. “We created the role of the mayor’s wife in order to revisit the cultural censorship that was going on in that period,” Shankman says.

“I think Patricia is the kind of woman who sees her role as first lady of Los Angeles as being much more important than her husband’s role as mayor, and there’s no question as to who wears the pants in the family,” Zeta-Jones suggests. “She’s an outspoken activist who feels rock ‘n’ roll is satanic music, and she creates a campaign to clean up what she believes is the real filth sullying her city’s streets: rock music.”

Patricia’s wardrobe is a marked difference from the rest of the cast—pastel suits with subdued, carefully coordinated accessories. “She’s a right-wing conservative who obviously has underlying secrets and a few skeletons in the closet,” Zeta-Jones says with a smile. “I thought I could have so much fun with her, and I have. And that’s exactly what each and every one of the other actors is having as well. The whole experience is so much fun.”

Richard Dawson is Dead


Richard Dawson, the British entertainer who rose to fame for his role as the Cockney prisoner-of-war Cpl. Peter Newkirk in 1960s CBS comedy show "Hogan's Heroes" and later became a host of the game show "Family Feud" has died. He was 79.

Dawson died on Saturday night, June 2, from complications related to esophageal cancer at Ronald Reagan Memorial Hospital, his son Gary said.

Dawson won a daytime Emmy Award in 1978 as best TV game show host. Tom Shales of The Washington Post called him "the fastest, brightest and most beguilingly caustic interlocutor since the late great Groucho bantered and parried on 'You Bet Your Life.'" The show was so popular it was released as both daytime and syndicated evening versions.

He was known for kissing each woman contestant, and at the time the show bowed out in 1985, executive producer Howard Felsher estimated that Dawson had kissed "somewhere in the vicinity of 20,000."

"I kissed them for luck and love, that's all," Dawson said at the time.

He reprised his game show character in a much darker mood in the 1987 Arnold Schwarzenegger film "The Running Man," playing the host of a deadly TV show set in a totalitarian future, where convicts try to escape as their executioners stalk them. "Saturday Night Live" mocked him in the 1970s, with Bill Murray portraying him as leering and nasty, even slapping one contestant (John Belushi) for getting too fresh.

Dawson was born Colin Lionel Emm in 1932 in Gosport, England. His first wife was actress Diana Dors, the blond bombshell who was Britain's answer to Marilyn Monroe.

Gumawa na naman ng ingay ang tambalan nina Kathryn Bernardo at Daniel Padilla nang sabihin ng binatang aktor sa isang interview na handa siyang pakasalan ang dalagang aktres. Hindi raw ito nabalitaan agad ni Kathryn pero naitanong ni Daniel kung narinig daw ba ng leading lady ang interview niya sa Showbiz Inside Report. Kinumpirma naman ni Kathryn Bernardo na hindi lang simpleng kaibigan ang turing niya ngayon kay Daniel Padilla kundi mas espesyal pa. Aminado si Kathryn na inakala niya na playboy ang binatang si Daniel pero nang tumagal ay nadiskubre niya na gentleman at malapit sa kaniyang pamilya ang aktor.

Madalas umano ipakita ni Daniel Padilla kay Kathryn Bernardo ang simpleng pag-alaga nito sa kaniya sa pamamagitan ng mga pag-aalala sa pagkain nito o sa nararamdaman. Inamin din ng binata na seloso siya pagdating sa mga lalakeng nauugnay kay Kathryn pero iginiit na wala naman daw siyang karapatan para maramdaman ito. Pinipigan na lang daw ni Daniel Padilla kapag nararamdaman niya ito na sa tingin naman ni Kathryn Bernardo ay dahil lang sa topak kaya nagseselos ang binata.

Sa ngayon ay naging mas malapit pa sa isa’t-isa sina Kathryn Bernardo at Daniel Padilla dahil sa kanilang teleserye. Ramdam din naman daw kasi ng dalaga ang espesyal na pagturing a kaniya ni Daniel.

May pag-asa naman daw talaga si Daniel Padilla kung sakaling manligaw ito sa dalaga pero siguraduhin lang daw ng binata na siya lang ang nililigawan nito. Hindi naman daw natatakot si Kathryn Padilla na mahulog ang loob sa aktor dahil nakilala na niya ito nang lubusan. Hindi naman itinanggi ng aktres na parte ng pagiging teenager ang magkaroon ng espesyal na nararamdaman sa isang tao na higit pa sa pagiging kaibigan.

Binibigyan naman si Kathryn Bernardo ng advice galing sa kaniyang ina. Ayon kay Kathryn, pagdating sa pag-ibig lalo na sa Showbiz ay mas gusto ng ina na kontrolin muna ito hangga’t maaari. Bukas pa rin naman daw si Kathryn Bernardo kung sakaling manligaw si Daniel Padilla sa kaniya dahil normal naman daw ito na pinagdadaanan ng mga kabataan. Kailangan daw kasing panindigan ni Kathryn ang kaniyang wholesome image sa publiko.  Sa ngayon ay kuntento na raw ang dalaga sa maganda nilang turingan ni Daniel Padilla bilang magkatrabaho at bilang matalik na magkaibigan.

Sam Pinto, Solenn Heussaff may away

Kinumpirma mismo ni Sam Pinto na walang iringan sa pagitan nila ni Solenn Heussaff matapos makatanggap ng mas maraming exposure ang huli sa pelikulang Boy Pick-Up The Movie. Ang pelikulang ito ay umiikot sa karkater na Boy Pick-Up ng singer-actor na si Ogie Alcasid. Ginagamit ni Ogie ang mga pick-up line para kay Neneng B na ginagampanan naman ni Sam. Magkaiba ang role ni Sam Pinto at Solenn Heussaff sa pelikula kung kaya hindi nila alam kung bakit kailangan pa silang intrigahin dito.

Si Solenn Heussaff ang magsisilbing leading lady sa pelikula samantalang si Sam Pinto ay lalabas lamang bilang tagasagot sa mga pick-up lines na ibabato ni Boy Pick up. Aminado ang dalawang dalaga na nabigla sila nang lumabas ang balitang may hindi sila pagkakaintindihan dahil sa pagkakaalam nila ay maganda ang kanilang samahan. Gumaganap si Solenn bilang Angel sa may-ari ng isang bakery sa naturang pelikula samantalang si Neneng B naman ay ang babae na nagtatanong ng ‘Bakit?’ kapag bumabanat na si Boy Pick Up.

Lalo panag pinag-igting ang kumpetisyon sa pagitan nina Sam Pinto at Solenn Heussaff dahil pareho silang finalist sa FHM Sexiest Pinay. Noong nakaraang taon ay si Sam ang nanalo at nakakuha ng pinakamaraming boto bilang Sexiest Pinay mula sa mga FHM readers at voters. Ngayong taon naman ay nanatili pa rin ang si Sam Pinto sa unang pwesto at pangatlo naman si Solen Heussaff.

Laki naman ang pasasalamat ni Sam sa lahat ng sumuporta sa kaniya at naniniwalang siya ang pinaka sexy na babae sa bansa. Hindi pa naman daw tapos ang voting kaya may pag-asa pa rin si Solenn na umakyat pa sa number one spot. Ayon kay Solenn Heussaff, maaaring parte lang ng promo ng pelikula ang mga naglalabasang isyu sa pagitan nila ni Sam Pinto. Ang pelikula ay sa ilalim ng Regal Film kung kaya walang magiging problema kay Sam kung hindi siya ang maging leading lady dito dahil kilala siya bilang talent ng Viva.

Mahaba rin naman daw ang magiging exposure ni Sam Pinto sa naturang pelikula dahil sa lahat ng major battles ay makikita siya. Ang sinasabing battles ay kung saan makikipagtalbugan si Boy Pick Up sa kaniyang mga kalaban sa pagbato ng mga pick-up line para kay Neneng B. Ang karakter naman ni Solenn Heussaff ay isang negosyante na tutulungan ni Ogie Alcasid para lumago ang bakery at dito na rin magsisimula ang kanilang pag-iibigan. Pinasinungalingan naman ni Sam ang mga balitang sinulot sa kaniya ni Solenn ang role na dapat ay para sa kaniya. Hiling ng dalawang dalaga na sina Sam Pinto at Solenn Heussaff ay tangkilikin na lang daw ang kanilang proyekto dahil tiyak na magiging masaya ito.
