Angel Locsin & more make cameo in MMFF 2014 entry 'The Amazing Praybeyt Benjamin'
Angel Locsin has made her big screen comeback with a cameo role in the
MMFF 2014 entry 'The Amazing Praybeyt Benjamin', Part 2 of the 2011
highest-grossing film 'Praybeyt Benjamin'
So, Marian Rivera isn't the only one having a guest appearance in one
MMFF 2014 entry ('Kubot: The Aswang Chronicles'), but also Angel
Locsin in 'Praybeyt Benjamin 2'.
With the power of social media, it can't be kept a secret for so long
as some 'spoiler' netizens who have already watched the movie on the
1st day shared on Twitter their excitement after seeing Angel's cameo
appearance in the comedy film starring Vice Ganda, marking the first
time for the actress to appear in a Wenn Deramas-directed comedy film.
And Angel isn't the only big star who has made a cameo in 'Praybeyt
Benjamin 2'. One of them appeared in the last part of the film, which
was kind of a hint that there will be Part 3. (I'm telling you, his
cameo was a delightful surprise. He really looks so good on the big
screen.)
We actually wanted to watch 'Feng Shui 2' on opening day of MMFF 2014
but we ended up watching 'The Amazing Praybeyt Benjamin' because the
two little boys with us liked it more. So we had no choice, but to
give in. Though we're really planning to watch it as well but not on
the 1st day because of the stressful long lines at the cinema
entrance.
As expected, it took us 4 hours waiting in line before we finally
entered the cinema for the 5:45 showtime. No doubt, it's leading the
box-office race.
It was a fun movie, but the 1st Praybeyt Benjamin was funnier, and
last year's MMFF entry 'Girl, Boy, Bakla, Tomboy' was much better.
Lead star Vice Ganda didn't fail to entertain, but my only concern was
that he turned out to be Vice Ganda and no longer the character
Praybeyt Benjamin. It was the same Vice we normally see on 'It's
Showtime'.
Alex Gonzaga and Tom Rodriguez were the saving grace. I sooo loved all
their scenes there, and I won't be surprised if they're named Best
Supporting Actor and Actress winners during the MMFF 2014 Awards Night
tomorrow.

MMFF 2014 Box-Office Results Day 1: Praybeyt Benjamin and My Big Bossing Lead the Race
MMDA Chairman Francis Tolentino, on Christmas Day, released an estimated turnout of the first day of the 40th Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF).
“Ang opening natin noong nakaraang taon ay P128 million. Ngayon po as of 3 p.m. ang tingin namin ay mahihigitan. Itong crowd kasi ngayon hindi alam na maaga ang bukas, may dadagsa pa. Ang tingin namin ay baka mahigitan pa ng 10 percent yung kinita noong nakaraang film festival.” Chairman Tolentino said in an interview.
As of 3pm, Vice Ganda and Bimby Aquino-Yap's "The Amazing Praybeyt Benjamin" is leading the box office race followed by Vic Sotto and Ryza Mae Dizon's "My Big Bossing’s Adventures" and "Feng Shui 2" starring Kris Aquino and Coco Martin neck-and-neck on second and third spots.
Occupying the fourth spot is Dingdong Dantes' "Kubot: The Aswang Chronicles" followed by Jennylyn Mercado and Derek Ramsay starrer "English Only, Please," Robin Padilla topbilled historical movie "Bonifacio: Ang Unang Pangulo," "Shake, Rattle and Roll XV," and "Magnum Muslim .357".

President Benigno "Noynoy" Aquino III took some time off from his busy schedule to celebrate Christmas day with sister Kris Aquino and niece Bimby Aquino-Yap watching the latter's MMFF 2014 movie “The Amazing Praybeyt Benjamin”.
On Thursday, along with Kris, his three other sisters, nieces and nephews, PNoy watched “The Amazing Praybeyt Benjamin” at SM Megamall to show his support for his youngest sister's son.
The block screening was also attended by Vice Ganda, Richard Yap and his wife Melody, comedian’s Pooh and Pokwang, Coco Martin, Erich Gonzales and Bimby’s father James Yap and girlfriend Michella Cazzola.

BELIEVE IT OR NOT: Goat Gives Birth to Human Like Babies
It is one of those freak surprises thrown by nature. Recently, a goat's picture has caught the buzz on social media as it reportedly discloses having given birth to human-like babies.
According to reports, the goat gives birth in a small village in Solapur in H.D. Kote taluk in Karnataka, the goat babies possess about 70% resemblance to the body of human baby. The eyes, nose, limbs and mouth are similar to those in human while the foot and ears looks like that of a goat.
The first human-like baby was born at around 6:30 am on Monday, while the goat gave birth to other one at 11:30 am, which was a female with human features. Experts said, it is the result of a rare genetic condition.
"In medical terms, the condition in is called fetal anasarta, means the baby body filled with excessive fluids. This happens due to a genetic disorder or infection."
