'Attack on Titan' - Trailer
Based on the phenomenal Manga created by Hajime Isayama, “Attack on Titan” is a live-action movie directed by Shinji Higuchi and written by Yusuke Watanabe and Tomohiro Machiyama.
More than a hundred years ago since humans have seen the Titans. Set in an unknown future, humanity remembered, when Titans suddenly reappeared. The majority of the human race had been eaten and civilization collapsed.
The survivors of the war built three walls to prevent the invasion of the Titans, and kept the peace by securing the living area inside. After a hundred years, the wall has not been broken... until the day the humans feared the most.
The story of the live-action movie will be based on the manga but will include some original aspects and will be supervised by the author, Hajime Isayama.
“Attack on Titan” will open very soon this August 12 nationwide from Pioneer Films.

With this, Myx TV joins the likes of DreamWorks, Sony Pictures, Paramount Pictures, HBO and other media giants in supporting the campaign.
Myx TV General Manager Miguel Santos said, "We are proud to be an official entertainment industry partner of Got Your 6. We are committed to fostering dialogue and understanding of veterans and veteran issues within the Asian American community and beyond."
Santos was invited last January to the launch of "6 Certified", in which content creators are encouraged to avoid "negative, stereotypical or extreme depictions of veterans as either "charity cases" or "heroes". The event was organized by Got Your 6, a group devoted to accurate portrayals of veterans in entertainment. Studios and producers can earn a "6 Certified" badge to display during film or TV series credits if they follow and support. No less than First Lady Michelle Obama gave the keynote remarks at the event. Story of good and evil in 'The Vatican Tapes'
Enter the terrifying world of “The Vatican Tapes.” From the filmmakers of the hit “The Exorcism of Emily Rose,” Horror-thriller “The Vatican Tapes” dives into a modern day story of good and evil, while exploring the devastating and widespread consequences of a demonic possession.
“The Vatican Tapes” follows the ultimate battle between good and evil - God versus Satan. Angela Holmes (Olivia Taylor Dudley) is an ordinary 27-year-old until she begins to have a devastating effect on anyone close, causing serious injury and death. Holmes is examined and possession is suspected, but when the Vatican is called upon to exorcise the demon, the possession proves to be an ancient satanic force more powerful than ever imagined. It’s all up to Father Lozano (Michael Peῆa) to wage war for more than just Angela’s soul, but for the world as we know it. The film also stars Djimon Hounsou.
“This is a story about an ordinary girl, Angela,” says director, Mark Neveldine. “She descends into a dark hole where terrifying things start to happen, but no one can figure out the cause of it. As horrifying incidents escalate, we find out that Angela’s body has been consumed by the anti-Christ. ”
Lakeshore’s President and film producer Gary Lucchesi adds: “The big idea of The Vatican Tapes is that in a secret vault in the Vatican, there is an immense library that chronicles all of the possession incidents since the beginning of the Catholic faith.”
“It’s a modern film about a woman who is consumed by demonic possession. People around her try to help her, and they try to treat her unknown condition,” says screenwriter, Christopher Borrelli. “Then at a certain point in the film, the priests and doctors realize that they’re dealing with a demon.”
“The devil is here,” sums up Lakeshore Entertainment’s Chairman and CEO, Tom Rosenberg. “The Vatican Tapes” opens July 22in cinemas (Philippines) nationwide from Pioneer Films.

Nash Aguas discovers new way for OFW moms and dads to 'Be With' their families everyday
For Nash Aguas, daily online chats and calls to loved ones should be possible for overseas Filipino workers (OFWs), anytime and anywhere.
Fortunately, he discovered KakaoTalk, a communication application or comm app, and its partnership with ABS-CBNmobile.
“OFWs can now use this to ‘be with’ their children every day,” said Nash.
According to the teen star, this is now possible because of the free use of KakaoTalk for all ABS-CBNmobile subscribers even without WiFi or data load.
“Even if they are physically far from each other, OFW families don’t have to be distant emotionally. There are new a modern ways to become closer with each other such as the group chat feature of KakaoTalk,” said Nash.
“It is very simple to use. Just download the KakaoTalk app on your smartphone. Then just open the app and tap the chat bubble at the upper right hand corner of the Chats tab. Then just choose the people you want to chat with from your friends list and that’s it. If you are an ABS-CBNmobile subscriber, this is free to use even if you don’t have access to WiFi and you have no data load,” Nash added.
“The important thing here is that we can make them part of our everyday lives, even with just a simple greeting of ‘good morning’ or asking how mommy and daddy are doing as if they are just there with you. You can also send pictures showing what you are doing. So even if Mommy is in Singapore and Daddy is in the province and you are in Manila, the everyday conversation goes on,” Nash elaborated further.
The simple gesture of calling or sending a message surely means a lot to parents who are away from their loved ones. Each call, message, or emoticon can remind them of their purpose, their reason for working away from the family.

Atty. Joji Alonso Of Quantum Films Gets To Produce Two Entries In The December Metro Filmfest: 'Death And The Senses' And 'Walang Forever'
Her first entry is the horror flick "Death and the Senses" (we think they will need a title more catchy than that.) It stars Rayver Cruz, Janine Gutierrez, Ian Veneracion, Lotlot de Leon, Jayson Gainza and John Lapus (a mix of Kapamilya and Kapuso stars), directed by Randolph Longjas (who made the indie comedy "Ang Turkey Man ay Pabo Rin").
Her other entry is the rom-com, "Walang Forever", starring Jennylyn Mercado and JM de Guzman (another Kapuso and Kapamilya pairing), directed by Dan Villegas. Dan also directed Jennylyn in last year's "English Only, Please" a surprise blockbuster and award-winner in the Metro-Manila Filmfest last year. Knowing how Atty. Joji puts all her heart and soul in every project she does, she might just surprise us again and come up with more winners this year come December.

Star Cinema has released the official music video for "The Breakup Playlist." The movie stars Piolo Pascual and Sarah Geronimo, directed by Dan Villegas.
The music video features the song "Paano Ba Ang Magmahal" performed by the movie's lead stars Sarah and Piolo. It was composed by Yeng Constantino and Jonathan Manalo.
Sarah and Piolo are seen recording the song in the video that also features scenes from the movie.
