What can he say about Andre enjoying showbiz? "At first, akala ko hindi niya magugustuhan kasi he was then into basketball, which gave him a scholarship in high school and college. Then offers to try showbiz came and he told me gusto niyang subukan. So he did, but we didn't expect that it would go this far na may TV show siya and movies, plus endorsements pa."
Does he give Andre any advice about being an actor? "It was in 'Diary ng Pangit' that I noticed his acting potential. First movie pa lang niya yun, but he did good, lalo na sa timing niya, so I told him na he has a good future sa showbiz. Then dumating ang offer ng GMA-7 to do an afternoon drama, 'Half Sisters', na leading man siya. It clicked with viewers kaya it's still on after more than a year on the air and gets consistently high ratings. With his hectic taping schedules, I asked him to choose kung saan niya mas gusto mag-focus, basketball or showbiz, kasi I know it will be very hard to give his time and attention to both, lalo't may college studies pa siya, and he decided na mas gusto niyang magpatuloy sa acting. I told him to always internalize the character he plays before facing the cameras so he can act out his role more convincingly. Angel Locsin renews contract with ABS-CBN and Star Cinema
Kapamilya actress Angel Locsin has renewed her contract with ABS-CBN and its film arm Star Cinema on Thursday, October 29.
Present in the contract signing are network executives headed by ABS-CBN President Charo Santos-Concio, Cory Vidanes, Malou Santos, Carlo Katigbak, Laurenti Dyogi, and Locsin's manager Manay Ethel Ramos.
Among the projects included in the new contract are a new tv series and a film with Coco Marin to be helmed by Olivia Lamasan. Her movie with Star for All Seasons Ms. Vilma Santos and heartthrob Xian Lim is Star Cinema's opening salvo for 2016.
Locsin, who appeared on Boy Abunda's nightly show two nights ago, revealed that she will no longer be donning the Darna suit in movies. The announcement was made after a mutual decision was agreed from the actress's camp and the network due to health reasons.
Locsin revealed during the interview that she had to go under treatment on her spine (a bulging disc) which she acquired from shooting the movie Love Me Again a few years ago.

EXID confirmes comeback with a digital single in the third week of November
More details on EXID’s November comeback has been revealed.
According to Yedang Entertainment, EXID will be releasing a digital single in the third week of November, which is 7 months after ‘Ah Yeah’.
EXID originally planned for their comeback in September but decided to postpone it in order to improve the song’s quality.
Producer Shinsadong Tiger and member LE reported to be working together on this track as well, and the new song is said to bring out a different feel compared to ‘Up & Down’ and ‘Ah Yeah’.
The agency said,”The members finished the song recording yesterday. If there’s no change in schedule, they will proceed with the music video filming on November 5th – 6th and then begin preparing for their comeback promotions”.
