Piolo Pascual and Shaina Magdayao's Wild Love Scene in "On The Job"

Piolo Pascual and Shaina Magdayao's Wild Love Scene in "On The Job"

Director Erik Matti described Piolo Pascual and Shaina Magdayao's love team in the action-thriller film On The Job as "wild and daring".
“The love scenes that we have for Piolo with Shaina is necessary to put forward sa story. May build up pa. Hindi naman yung sex scene kaagad." Matti said.

Matti also said that due to its sensitivity Piolo and Shaina's love scene needed to be filmed in a span of two days to make it more realistic. He also narrated how the scenes were shot.
Nag-usap muna sila, sineduce muna siya ni Shaina and then they ended up in bed. But if you look at the film ang makikita mo doon ay ang love scene mismo.
“Daring siya because we wanted to send out an impression that Shaina is naked pero may eksena siyang tinakpan ni Piolo ang mga body parts ni Shaina para ma-protektahan ito sa indecent exposure sa kamera kasi hindi naman it tipo na bold na parang labas lahat.  Alam mo yun?
"Meron ding eksena na makikitang backless si Shaina...na they’re having sex in bed na hindi close up-close up lang.  Yung takip-takip, wala siyang takip.  But siyempre, nasa blocking yun.
"Kasi mahaba yung shot, e.  I realized when editing it puwede namang build up to the sex at pag magsi-sex na, cut na.  Pero umabot sila sa sex scene.”
Aside from the intense action scenes, the movie also highlights on the love scenes between Gerald Anderson and newcomer Dawn Jimenez.
Co-produced by Star Cinema and Reality Entertainment, the internationally-acclaimed action-thriller “OTJ” will hit cinemas nationwide next Wednesday (August 28).

Thea Tolentino's Dream Come True this Monday Afternoon

Thea Tolentino's Dream Come True this Monday Afternoon
For her first lead role as Pyra, Thea Tolentino will not only be showcasing her talent in acting, but also in singing and playing the guitar. The Ultimate Female Protégé recalled her engagement with both when she was growing up.

Thea learned how to play the guitar in high school due to the influence of her peers. She brought to mind the songs that she used to play, which were mostly J-pop songs, because she was into Japanese pop culture and anime. Unfortunately, due to her current busy schedule, she has not been able to keep tabs on J-pop.

Singing was part of Thea Tolentino’s childhood because their family managed a karaoke business. Her mom worked for her grandfather’s electronics store, and has always brought her along. As a bonus, little Thea sang and danced in the shop, most of the time, to the tune of Britney Spears’ songs. On the karaoke machine, she would always punch the numbers for “Dadalhin” by Regine Velasquez, and “Never had a dream come true” by S Club 7.

Thea’s dreams finally did come true now that she was cast for the lead role in the Afternoon Primetime soap, Pyra. And she’s bringing with her all these learning and experiences she had while growing up. She will be playing the role of Pyra who has a special ability called "Pyrokinesis."

Will her voice and guitar-playing help out her character? Will her music bring more warmth to Pyra? Kapuso, let’s find out the answers as we all watch Pyra: Ang Babaeng Apoy! Catch its pilot episode this August 26, Monday, and witness the newest and hottest primetime show on GMA.
