Donald Trump Officially Fired from 'The Celebrity Apprentice'

The NBC Entertainment officially fired billionaire, Donald Trump from "The Celebrity Apprentice."

NBC Entertainment chairman, Bob Greenblatt, on Thursday announced that the show definitely be back for another season. However, Trump will not be the host anymore.

"He is a lovely guy. He was very much a collaborator and worked with us closely on 'Celebrity Apprentice' and, you know, there's a really effusive great guy. We weren't in any sort of adversarial position," said Greenblatt.

Greenblatt said there is a number of celebrities who are interested with hosting the show. They will also be interested in having a woman to host it.

In 2005, Martha Stewart hosted her own of "Celebrity Apprentice."

In June, NBC fires Donald Trump, which stemmed from his comments of Mexican immigrants where he called them "rapists" and "drug dealers." The TV network cancelled airing Miss USA pageant as well as Miss Universe competition.

"They're bringing drugs, they're bringing crime, they're rapists, and some I assume are good people," said Trump at the Trump Tower on Manhattan's Fifth Avenue.

Barbie Imperial to do a teleserye soon

"Pinoy Big Brother 737" evicted housemate Barbie Imperial revealed that she is going full time in showbiz after her stint in the reality show.

In fact, she has been given a special workshop to prepare her for the role.

In an interview with push.ph, the "Doll Along Da Riles ng Albay" said:

"’Yung teleserye po namin, ‘di ko pa po alam kung ano ang gagawin ko. Wala pa akong script kaya nag workshop ako. One day lang po ‘yung workshopko, special workshop po daw ‘yun. Okay naman."

It's nice to know that she's going to have an acting career despite her short stay in the PBB house (she was the first evictee of the season).

Meanwhile, with regards to Bailey May who confessed his feelings to the 17-year-old Albayanon when they were still both inside the famous yellow house, Barbie said they are now just friends.

She admitted that she got jealous at first with Bailey's growing closeness to their fellow housemate Ylona Garcia. She said, however, that she now has no romantic feelings towards the 13-year-old Filipino-British anymore.

Shaina Magdayao and Matteo Guidicelli have teamed up for the first time in "Single/Single," the first original series that will air on Cinema One.

The series merges comedy and relevant issues that range from quarter-life crises to relationship dilemma, and highlights the importance of handling finances, career path planning, and balancing work and life in the complicated, digital times.

"Single/Single" follows the story of Joee (Shaina) and Joey (Matteo), two single strangers who are forced to share an apartment for practical reasons.

Will it be a disaster or a happy ever after?

The series is directed by Pepe Diokno, written by Lilit Reyes and produced by Bianca Balbuena.

Also in the cast are Cherie Gil as Joey's mom, Anna Luna and Brian Sy as Joee's friends. Mara Lopez and Matt Daclan are also appearing in guest roles.

"Single/Single" is the first project together of Cinema One and The Philippine Star. It premieres on the cable channel this August 29, 2015 (Saturday) at 8 PM.

Alden Richards to release album soon

Alden Richards is set to release an album soon.

The Kapuso actor and "Eat Bulaga!" co-host signed a contract with GMA Records on Thursday, August 13, 2015.

Present at the contract signing were GMA Artist Center executive Gigi Santiago-Lara, GMA Records EVP and COO Felipe S. Yalong, and the music production company's managing director Rene Salta.

Alden has been a trending topic on Twitter almost everyday because of "Eat Bulaga!'s" Kalyeserye, a live comedy skit that pairs him up with the very funny Yaya Dub (Maine Mendoza).

The two are yet to meet in person because Alden co-hosts the show in the studio while Yaya Dub is with the other co-hosts in remote location, but their love team (AlDub) is giving much "kilig" to the viewers of the noontime show and even to some celebrities including Judy Ann Santos who recently posted about it on Instagram.

During the contract signing, Alden revealed that he has already met Yaya Dub's parents and is very excited to meet Yaya Dub herself.

Question is, will his album have a touch of the Kalyeserye? A duet with Yaya Dub, perhaps?
