Piolo Pascual Is The Pambansang Papa, According To Highlands Corned Beef Exec Who Got Him As Their Newest Brand Ambassador

PIOLO PASCUAL proves his generosity when he contributed P1 million of his own money for the rehabilitation of the devastated city of Marawi. He personally gave it to Robin Padilla who's honest in his desire to be of service to his fellow Muslims whose homes were demolished by the recent war.
And he likewise proved to be a real friend when he was invited to do a recurring role in "Home Sweetie Home" after John Lloyd Cruz went on an indefinite leave. Friend Toni Gonzaga is truly grateful that he's available and quickly said yes to their show's invitation. And whaddaya know, the episode where he appeared really rated well.

"I'm not used to doing a sitcom but I'm surely having a lot of fun," says Papa P. "It's a learning experience for me and I'm enjoying it by going with the flow and trying to be as natural as I can be."

No wonder he is so blessed and now has another new endorsement, Highlands Gold Corned Beef with Angus Beef. "Whenever I'm at home, comfort food ko ito," he says. "Ginigisa ko lang, with onions. And it's the only corned beef with Angus beef that have superior taste."

Highlands brand manager Kim Favis says they got Papa P as he's an effective endorser. "As the Pambansang Papa, people really follow him, as shown by the many young wives and mothers who started switching to Highlands after they saw him eating it."

Tetchie Agbayani Plays An Executive Producer Who Urges Rhian Ramos To Always Have A 'Reserba' In The Romcom 'Fallback'

TETCHIE AGBAYANI first made a splash as a Playboy model in the late 70s and this led to her career in the movies, playing leading lady to the late Rudy Fernandez in "Pepeng Shotgun" and to the late FPJ in "Sambahin ang Ngalan Mo", both in 1981. She was later launched to stardom in "Hubad na Gubat" with Phillip Salvador.

She tried pursuing a career in Hollywood and did supporting roles in "The Money Pit" with Tom Hanks and in John Boorman's "The Emerald Forest". She also did an Australian Film, "Rikky and Pete", and was paired with Hollywood actor John Saxon in "Desire". When her acting career waned, she went back to college and got a degree in Psychology from St. Joseph's College, where she later became a member of the faculty. Is she still teaching?

"No, I've stopped," she says at the presscon of "Fallback", a movie produced by Cineko Productions but to be released in theaters by Star Cinema on November 15. "Bale five years din akong nagturo but then, I was also into acting. I was doing teleseryes na natatapos ang taping at 5 AM and then diretso na ko sa school kasi my first class was 7:30 in the morning. I tried na pagsabayin but mahirap, so I have to make a choice and I chose to focus on acting na lang."

Since 2001, she has appeared in countless teleseryes, including "Sa Dulo ng Walang Hanggan", "Ligaw na Bulaklak", "Eva Fonda", "100 Days to Heaven", "Aryana", "Dolce Amore", "The Greatest Love" and many more. Now 56 years old, Tetchie has a daughter, China, who is also a college graduate. "She first worked with Summit Media but she's now an assistant designer of noted couturier Rajo Laurel," says the proud mother.

In "Fallback", Tetchie plays the executive producer of a company where lead actress Rhian Ramos works as a location manager. "Namomroblema siya sa love life niya kay Daniel Matsunaga at ako ang naging adviser niya. Sabi ko, dapat, in life, lagi siyang may fallback, para in case may mangyari, may reserba siya, at diyan nga pumasok si Zanjoe Marudo para maging fallback niya."
