Can You Guess Who Are The Celebrities Referred To In These Blind Stories?

IT'S JUST the start of the year and here we are hearing stories whose subjects we cannot name to protect our sources. First, an actress had her boobies removed due to the presence of C cells in them, just like what Angelina Jolie did before. The actress is okay now and even had a vacation abroad with her inamorato. Here's praying that she has gotten rid of all the C cells for good and they're no longer coming back to her body.

Then we heard that a celebrity stylist linked to a popular actor before just delivered her first baby. She's not married to the dad because the guy is already very much married and his wife doesn't know about it.

Another actress is said to be thinking of seriously retiring to join her husband who is based abroad. The husband is also in showbiz but not connected with the local one. The actress, an award-winner, is said to be head over heels in love with him.

Vice Ganda's Filmfest Entry Is Called Trash By His Detractors But Has Earned P400 Million To Prove That Yes, May Pera Sa Basura

OF THE EIGHT official entries in the current Metro-Manila Filmfest, there's only one movie that we didn't bother to watch anymore: "Gandarrapido, The Revenger Squad", simply because everyone discouraged us. Some writers told us watching it is just a waste of time. Three writers told me they slept through it.

"Suwerte ni Vice Ganda na kumikita pa rin ang movies niya kahit hindi na nakakatawa ang style ng comedy niya," says one writer. "Si Daniel Padilla, nasayang lang sa movie. Mabuti pa noong ang late Wenn Deramas ang nagdidirek kay Vice, at least, may funny scenes pa rin. Pero kay Joyce Bernal, wala. Wala yatang sense of humor si Bb. Joyce."

But we're sure Joyce and Vice couldn't care less. They know their movie is critic-proof. Folks might lambast but people would still flock to it. After all, the movie is said to have earned P400 million so far and the next movie among the filmfest list of topgrossers, "Ang Panday", is a faraway number two, having earned only one half of "Revenger's" box office take.

"Sisihin ang masa viewers na mas gusto ng basura kaysa ng movies that will help uplit them," says another writer. "And this proves once more that's there truth to the saying na 'MAY PERA SA BASURA'."

To Vice's critics and detractors, eat your hearts out. No matter what you say, the greater majority of the public chose to support his movie.

Lovi Poe, Rhian Ramos And Max Collins On Their Experiences Working With Each Other & With Dennis Trillo In 'The One That Got Away'

LOVI POE, RHIAN RAMOS and Max Collins share topbilling as the three women who pine for Dennis Trillo in the new GMA-7 primetime show, "The One that Got Away (TOTGA)". They quickly laugh off the rumor that there is a rivalry among the three of them.

"We're here para magtulong-tulong para mas mapaganda ang bawat episode ng aming show," says Lovi, who plays Alex, a young woman with a bubbly disposition and works for a cable network as an aspiring trabelshow host. Very organized in everything she does, she is very family oriented, with Snooky Serna and Bembol Roco as her parents, and works very hard as one her family's breadwinners.

"I'm really glad na lahat kami rito, magkakaibigan kaya wala kaming intention na magpatalbugan o magsapawan," says Rhian who plays Zoe, a swimwear designer (that's why you'd see her sporting sexy skimpy swimsuits in the show) who is carefree and sunshiny. She is popular in social media and lives by herself in an uppity condominium. She comes from a wealthy family but feels that her parents do not really care that much for her. She's closer to her brother, Migo Adecer.

"Masaya kami lagi sa set at maingay kami, pero si Dennis Trillo laging tahimik lang," says Max, who plays Darcy, a personal gym trainer who is so sexy. She's a strong willed and very principled young woman who hates being dependent on others. She lives in a simple apartment with her siblings who she tries to help financially, especially her brother Ervic Vijandre who often borrows money from her.

Max is newly married in real life, to Kapuso actor Pancho Magno, and they just had their wedding on December 11. They didn't have time to go on honeymoon because she's busy taping for "The One that Got Away" that will start airing soon to replace "My Korean Jagiya". "Okay lang naman na trabaho agad ako after the wedding and he doesn't complain kasi busy rin siya taping for his own show, 'Haplos', with Sanya Lopez," says Max. "So postponed muna ang honeymoon namin at itutuloy na lang kapag hindi na kami pareho masyadong busy with work. As of now, naglilipat pa siya sa bahay namin. I told him to join us muna ng family ko while we're looking for a house of our own."
