So how will they describe their relationship now. "Dahil lagi kaming magkasama sa taping ng 'Let the Love Begin' at ng 'Instadad', we're definitely much closer now," says Ruru. "Pero hindi pa kami. Huwag nyo naman kaming madaliin. We're still getting to know each other pa rin."

What has Gabbi discovered about Ruru so far? "I learned na by nature, maalaga siya talaga. He's always asking kung okay ba ako, comfortable ba ako. When I need something sa car ko, sasamahan pa niya akong kunin yun. Kapag wala akong driver, sinusundo niya ako at inihahatid din. Very thoughtful din siya. Just recently, he surprised me with a bouquet of red roses after we had some minor tampuhan. Ang sweet nga niya. I really want to thank all my fans na member ng fans club ko, Gabbified, kasi they even celebrated our first anniversary together."

MTRCB summons "PBB 737" officials for a conference

Officials of "Pinoy Big Brother 737" has been summoned by the Movie and Television Review and Classification Board (MTRCB) to a conference "concerning children's rights and protection."

In a report by abs-cbnnews.com, the board's Hearing and Adjudication Committee co-chairperson Ricardo Solomon, Jr. stated in the letter that they have received "numerous feedback and complaints" about the show which is celebrating its 10th anniversary and is currently on its 12th season.

"PBB 737," which premiered June 20, 2015, currently has 11 housemates which ages ranging from 12 to 18.

The conference (scheduled July 9) between the MTRCB and the "PBB" officials is to "ensure that the best interest of the children [participating in the show] are given primary consideration."

The letter further says that in the conference, the board "would like to know what safety measures you have in place so as to guarantee that no participant in your program is exposed to situations, challenges and experiences which may by prejudicial to his or her well-being or which may have a negative impact on the youth and other audiences who will be watching your show."

Recently, the closeness of Bailey May, 12, and Kenzo Gutierrez, 18, was labeled as "bromance" and has been trending on social media.

There's also the issue of Barbie Imperial, 16, whose dad she hasn't even embraced and seem to neglect her.

Meanwhile, Bailey has already confessed that he likes Barbie. The two of them, however, make up this week's nomination list  and one of them will be going out on Friday.

Park rose to fame in the Philippines in 2004, when she finished runner-up in the ABS-CBN talent search “Star Circle Quest.” After a string of film and TV projects, she decided to leave for Korea to pursue a showbiz career there.

In 2009, Park took on the name “Dara” as a member of 2NE1.

TV: MTRCB Summons Pinoy Big Brother Officials For Conference On Children's Rights & Protection

MANILA - Movie & Television Review & Classification Board or MTRCB has summoned the officials of Pinoy Big Brother 737 over an unspecified complaints they've been receiving against the show.


In a letter dated June 24, MTRCB stated that they have been receiving numerous feedback and complaints against Pinoy Big Brother 737. Although, the agency did not mention which part of the show was brought to their attention, it may have been the controversial bromance relationship between housemates Bailey Thomas May and Kenzo Gutierrez.



The developmental conference was set by MTRCB on July 9 at their office in Timog, Quezon City and Pinoy Big Brother officials including its Businees Unit Head, Production Managers, Producer, and Director were among to attend.

The Movie and Television Review and Classification Board (MTRCB) has summoned executives of ABS-CBN over its ongoing reality show "Pinoy Big Brother 737 (PBB)."

In a letter dated June 24, the regulatory agency invited officials of the program, including business unit head Raymond Dizon and director Jon Holl, to a conference "concerning children's rights and protection."

Ricardo Salomon, Jr., co-chairperson of the MTRCB Hearing and Adjudication Committee, said they have been receiving "numerous feedback and complaints" about the "PBB." He did not specify a specific scene or incident.

The MTRCB official said the conference, scheduled on July 9, is to "ensure that the best interest of the children [participating in the show] are given primary consideration."

The ongoing "PBB," its 12th edition overall which also marks its 10th anniversary, opened in June with 11 housemates aged 12 to 18.

"In the said conference," the MTRCB letter read, "we would like to know what safety measures you have in place so as to guarantee that no participant in your program is exposed to situations, challenges and experiences which may by prejudicial to his or her well-being or which may have a negative impact on the youth and other audiences who will be watching your show."

Real-life drama

Since its premiere, "PBB" has been tackling several issues involving the housemates, most of which were explained by its resident psychologist Randy Dellosa.

Notably, Ailah Antopina, a Muslim girl, related certain restrictions of her religion.

Ryan Bacalla, who is openly gay, expressed his hurt over the lack of support of his mother for his passion in dancing.

Barbie Imperial similarly turned emotional when she recalled being a victim of cyberbullying.

In the June 27 episode of "PBB," Dellosa also explained the case of housemates Bailey May, 12, and Kenzo Gutierrez, 18, whose closeness -- dubbed as "bromance" on social media -- has become a hot topic in the last two weeks.

Referring to instances when the two would hug, hold hands, or jokingly kiss, Dellosa said these may be a manifestation of May and Gutierrez's longing for a brother as they are both lone sons.

He added: "This is one way to educate na nagbabago ang gender expectations at gender roles sa culture natin ngayon. Kung dati eh ang lalaki dapat tough, rough at emotionless, ngayon we have to be in touch with both our male and female sides."

Tom Rodriguez Returns to ABS-CBN


Kapuso actor/host Tom Rodriguez is setting foot again on ABS-CBN, exactly 2 years after leaving the Kapamilya network in favor of GMA-7.

Tom is set to do a movie with Bea Alonzo under ABS-CBN's film production arm Star Cinema entitled "The Love Affair" which also features the timeless love team of Richard Gomez and Dawn Zulueta.

Tom became a household name when he joined Pinoy Big Brother in 2009. He scored several important roles in ABS-CBN series such as like Precious Hearts Romances Presents: My Cheating Heart and Mana Po, M3 (Malay Mo Ma-develop), My Driver Sweet Lover, Guns and Roses, Be Careful With My Heart and a series of featured roles in MMK before transferring to Kapuso Network in June 2013.
