WCOPA 2017 Winners: Team Philippines' Nhickzy Calma, Christiani Rebada are junior and senior grand champions!

The World Championships of Performing Arts (WCOPA) 2017 has just concluded earlier in Long Beach, California, USA, with the Team Philippines scoring a back-to-back victory in the junior and senior championships.

Nhickzy Calma (who competed in the Dance Solo category) and Christiani Rebada (Vocal Solo), both from the Philippines, were declared Junior Grand Champion and Senior Grand Champion of the World respectively in this year's WCOPA.

Before becoming a world champion, this talented kid was the first grand winner of the "Mini Me" contest on It's Showtime in 2014 and was part of the JaDine TV series 'On The Wings of Love' in 2015. He also appeared in a number of TV commercials.

Paul Salas did the sweetest thing for Barbie Imperial

Barbie Imperial perhaps could hardly sleep last night after what Paul Salas did to her.


The former PBB housemate from Albay got a sweet surprise last night from rumored boyfriend Paul Salas while they were inside a car goin' home.

It was a ticket to Justin Bieber's concert in the Philippines on September 30, which Barbie has been wishing to have since the concert announcement last month.

That's already sweet, but how Paul did it, how he surprised her, what he said to Barbie in the caption to his Instagram video made it even sweeter.

And what I find the sweetest is that part of the video when Paul asked Barbie this: "Pwede ba date tayo sa September 30?"

Last night, I told Bie na late ko sya masusundo dahil may gagawin ako. Di nya alam maaga akong gumising para pumila sa pre selling tickets for Justin Bieber's Purpose World Tour. Sobrang haba ng pila, halos lahat ng co beliebers ko naging close ko na dun. So after ko dun, I went straight to her house and picked her up. Nung nasa loob na kami ng sasakyan, kunware galit ako sakanya para hindi nya mapansin yung surprise ko. Advance happy birthday @itsbarbieimperial. Barbie later left this comment on Paul's IG post, thanking him for the surprise, telling him how blessed she is to have him: "Thank you so much Paully! Grabe 😭 from being your fangirl na hinahabol ka sa airport and shows mo, now you're doing things to make me happy. I'm so blessed to have you ☺️"

As mentioned by Paul, it was also his advance birthday surprise for Barbie, who's turning 19 on August 1st. - Mykiru.ph
