Lea Salonga Slams Anne Curtis Performance on The Voice: "She's still not a singer!"
The Voice of the Philippines coach Lea Salonga shared her opinion on Anne Curtis's performance last Sunday, February 8, on The Voice of the Philippines.
Anne performed Icona Pop’s “I Love It and All Night” with coach Bamboo and the coach’s top six contestants before the announcement of winners last Sunday. The performance earned a standing ovation from the coaches and was wildly enjoyed by the live audience.
Later after the show, Lea was asked by her followers via Twitter about her reaction to Anne's performance which the coach enthusiastically replied "So much fun!!!" But when asked about Anne's singing in particular, Lea commented, "She's still not a singer," she stated. Nonetheless, the coach commended Anne's improvement on her intonation saying, "But her intonation is improving.”

GOT7’s Jackson reveals his dating status & how he handles ‘fart’ situation
GOT7 Jackson is appearing on virtual dating program JTBC’s ‘Dating Alone’ which will air on 14th.
During the interview, Jackson is asked if he has a girlfriend. He answered, “Currently I can’t date because I made a promise with my agency and JYP hyung.” Host Jang Dong Min followed up,” Even if you find a girl you like, you still won’t date?” Jackson replied, “I cannot date. If you ask why, because I made a promise.”
In addition to that, Jackson also answered an interesting question about proper behavior in front of a girl. He was asked what would he do if he felt like farting in which Jackson frankly answered, “Just ppang! Do it. Rather than trying hard to look good to anyone, I’d rather show my true self.”
The host questioned, “If your girlfriend farts what would you think?” Jackson amusingly replied, “I think it’s pretty. If she doesn’t say sorry it’s alright. I don’t mind the smell too.”

Aiai Delas Alas, devastated after cancellation of pre-Valentines Day concert
In this photo posted by TV5 showbiz reporter MJ Marfori, Comedy Queen Aiai Delas Alas looked devastated after her pre-Valentine's Day concert got cancelled a day before.
According to the comedy-concert Queen, the concert was cancelled which was supposed to happen tonight in Solaire because allegedly the concert producer wasn't being honest to her. The venue as well as the artists performing for the show were not paid yet.
Delas Alas said that she will make it up to her fans as she's planning to stage a concert for FREE on May 16 which she will produce herself.
But according to Jacob Fernandez, the producer of the said concert, these are all lies.
“Hindi totoo ‘yan! Matagal na akong nagsu-show sa Solaire and meron kaming mga arrangements with Solaire. Meron kaming arrangements for that. Ang production crew, pagkatapos ng show saka kayo babayaran, so bakit bigla kong babayaran agad? So, siguro na-misinterpret lang."
“Nung pagdating lang ni Pope (January) kami parang nag-start sa show ni Ms. Ai-Ai... kaya kulang talaga sa preparation. Siyempre, Comedy Concert Queen siya, gusto natin bonggang-bongga yung concert, di ba, tapos nagpalit pa kami ng guest, so feeling ko, kulang talaga sa preparation.
Apparently, Fernandez was pointing the lack of the time to prepare for the concert as the main reason of the cancellation. He also dismissed reports that tickets sold was low
Delas Alas and Fernandez haven't talked personally to each other as of the moment.

JYP Entertainment to launch a new Mnet survival show for upcoming girl group
JYP Entertainment was revealed to produce their new girl group through a new survival show on Mnet.
According to a report by MBN Star, JYP Entertainment will team up with Mnet for a new survival show to form their upcoming girl group.
The format will be similar to ‘WIN’, ‘MIX & MATCH’, ‘NO MERCY’ in which the trainees will compete with each other in order to make themselves into the final line-up of JYP’s soon-to-debut girl group. The program was said to have entered the planning stage and is scheduled to broadcast in April.
Regarding the report, a rep from JYP Entertainment said,”It’s true that we are in talks with Mnet for the production of the show, but no specific details have been decided. We have been preparing for the debut of the new girl group since last year so they will probably debut this year, but nothing has been confirmed”.

After the fierce competition in the survival program ‘No Mercy’, seven tough members are hailed to officially debut as Starship’s new boy group MONSTA X.
The official members are Jooheon, Shownu, Kihyun, Hyungwon, Wonho, Minhyuk, and I.M . According to the agency on 12th, the group name ‘Monsta X’ which has ‘monster’ word in it carries the concept of calm monsters in Kpop scene. In addition to that, the syllable ‘MON’ in French means ‘My’ so it can be also meant ‘My Star’. Meanwhile, the ‘X’ implies a symbol of unknown who will now make an appearance.

Jake Vargas misses Bea Binene's caring ways
When Bea Binene
arrived at a restaurant in SM Megamall for the premiere night of her
currently-showing movie, “Liwanag sa Dilim” minus co-star Jake Vargas,
the press was quick to ask where he is (the two haven’t confirmed
reports that they’ve broken up).
Pressed for details, she explained that she herself is so busy (read: she doesn’t have the time for coordinate with him).
Not dating
Is there trouble in paradise?
Jake is a bit more vocal.
Yes, he admits, there is. But he’s not pushing things for now.
“Hayaan ko na lang siyang magpahinga muna, kung ano ang gusto nyang gawin.”
While he admits missing Bea's caring ways, Jake is not dating anyone come Valentine’s Day.

“Sobrang bait niya. Hindi ka nya pababayaan kapag kasama mo siya.”
He is resigned to the fact that the best thing to do for now is wait.

ABS-CBN’s romantic drama series “Forevermore” topped the list of most watched TV program in the country last Monday (February 9), when it went fast forward to two years after the heartbreaking parting of ways of Xander (played by Enrique Gil) and Agnes (played by Liza Soberano).
Based on data from Kantar Media, the Twitter-trending “Forevermore Something New” episode earned a national TV rating of 28.7% or more than twice the score of its rival teleserye on GMA, “Once Upon A Kiss (14.1%).
Now that Agnes carries on with her life as a student in Manila, she meets a new guy in school named Jay (played by Diego Loyzaga). What role will Jay play in the life of Agnes especially now that the latter is trying to move on from her heartbreaking past with her first love, Xander?
