Jake Cuenca Wins Best Actor at New York International Film Festival Manhattan (IFFM)
Jake Cuenca was named Best Actor at the recently concluded International Film Festival Manhattan (IFFM) in New York City for his acting performance in a local independent film “Mulat.”
“You express something that you really believe in. Regardless if it makes money or if people watch it.” Jake said in his acceptance speech held on October 23, at the Philippine Consulate, New York.
Jake, on his Twitter account, expressed his happiness about being recognized for the first time for his acting capability.

In the film, Jake falls for a mysterious woman (Loren Burgos) with a “strange mental affliction.” His character clashes with Ryan Eigenmann, who portrays the other strong male character in the story.

Danny Ildefonso Involved in Photo Scandal; Perpetrator to Face Anti-Photo and Video Voyeurism Complaint
Meralco Bolts player Danny Ildefonso, while showering naked at the Meralco gym in Pasig City on Tuesday, October 21, caught a dance instructor named Arnold Trinidad taking a picture of him.
According to reports, the PBA player heard a “clicking” sound and when he checked outside through the curtain, he caught Trinidad kneeling on the floor and taking his pictures.

Trinidad tried to escape but he was cornered by Meralco security guards Albino Barredo and Baltazar Antido who helped brought him to the Pasig Police Station where Ildefenso filed charges in violation of Republic Act 9995 or the Anti-Photo and Video Voyeurism Act of 2009.
The suspect was released from detention on Thursday after Ildefonso decided not to pursue the charges after Trinidad asked his forgiveness and promised to delete the nude photos on his iPod Touch, said Superintendent Abelardo Villacorta, chief of the Eastern Police District (EPD).

Did Jolina Magdangal say goodbye to GMA executives? No she didn't . Instead, she's saying "See you around" after 12 years of staying as kapuso.

Buzz have been around the corners of showbiz that Jolina Magdangal is soon returning to her original network, ABS-CBN, where she is said to be reunited with former loveteam Marvin Agustin for the kapamilya network's upcoming daytime series, Flordeliza.
