Bibeth Orteza Gets Good Reviews For Her Performance In The Play 'Boeing Boeing' In Singapore's Victoria Theatre

BIBETH ORTEZA is currently in Singapore playing an important role in the comedy play, "Boeing Boeing", and she's getting rave reviews for her performance. The play itself is praised abundantly for its easy laughs and sheer buoyancy, but the Singapore Strait Times singles out Bibeth's portrayal of Roza, the Filipino maid, as "masterful".

The Times added praise says: "Orteza stole every scene she was in, leading the audience to yell out her punchline, "It's not eeeea-sy!", with her whenever Bernard (the lead actor) demanded she cover for him for the nth time."

The play just opened at Victoria Theatre at Empress Place and will run until July 23. It's about a playboy who juggles the schedules of his three girlfriends in his apartment, with Bibeth as Roza as

his accomplice in his assignations with them. No doubt this is an added feather on Bibeth's cap after her best supporting actress win in the Metro-Manila Filmfest New Wave category for the movie, "Toto", as Sid Lucero's dying mom.
