Is Aga Muhlach moving back to ABS-CBN?

Is Aga Muhlach moving back to ABS-CBN?

During the press conference for "Maaga Ang Pasko sa Jollibee ", actor Aga Muhlach answered several questions regarding his future plans in showbiz.

Muhlach who had been in a few months of hiatus after his contract with TV5 network expired revealed that he will be doing a movie with Star Cinema in 2015. But doing the movie requires him to lose some pounds.

“Next year [I will], I just need to lose 40 pounds, 40 pounds to go," Muhlach said.

In 2013, a movie project that will reunite him with former "loveteam" Lea Salonga was announced so when asked if he is going to do the movie with The Voice of the Philippines coach, he relayed,
"Well, I’m hoping, I’m really hoping to work with her again for the third time. I would really love to work with her again and we just have to make it right.”

He further shared, “I’ve said this again and again, and sabi ko nga we’ll only do a movie if the script is really nice, maganda istorya, nababagay sa ngayon, and if we both look good. Look fit at least, I mean we owe it to our fans to look our best. So right now, I’m on a break. So next year I’ll see you guys. I’m looking forward to doing that movie na ilang taon nang napag-uusapan, hindi pa rin matuluy-tuloy.”

The actor is also open to the idea of moving back to ABS-CBN, his former network and home for almost two decades.
“Siyempre naman, oo naman. I mean, I started with ABS-CBN and I’ve never had any bad blood with them. So I just need to lose weight, that’s the deal.”

Muhlach also put and end to the questions whether he's seeking for public office this coming 2016 elections. “No more, no more. Parang I tried it and I was able to touch base with talagang mahihirap na tao. But then, it didn’t work, so no more. Parang it’s not for me.”

A New Movie Company Dares Produce Five New Meaningful, Socially Relevant Local Films

IT’S ALWAYS A reason to celebrate when new producers venture into local filmmaking at this time that the industry has slowed down, as this means more jobs for our actors, directors, writers and crew members. One very active production company now is BG Production International of Mrs. Baby Go. They have two new films in the can and three new films in production. And what’s nice is that they are all meaningful movies, socially relevant and not just the usual mindless escapist entertainment offered by most companies.

Their two films that have been completed are: “Homeless” – About people who lost their home and property due to calamities in the province and come to the city to end up as beggars, starring Snooky Serna, Ejay Falcon, Dimples Romana and Martin del Rosario. This is partly filmed in Cambodia.
