KathNiel's Blockbuster Horror Movie 'Pagpag' Premieres on Cinema One this October 26

Cinema One, the leading cable channel in the country, unveils “Pagpag: Siyam na Buhay” on Blockbuster Sundays on October 26 at 8 pm. The film is the first horror movie of Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla, fondly called KathNiel, today’s hottest teen love team.
“Pagpag…” tells the story of Cedric (Daniel) who goes to a funeral set up by Leni (Kathryn). Cedric and his barkada and Leni fail to follow the superstitious belief of “pagpag,” i.e., going somewhere else before heading home after visiting a wake. Instead, the friends immediately proceed to their respective houses, unknowingly bringing malevolent spirits into their personal spaces and jeopardizing the lives of their families.
Directed by Frasco Mortiz, “Pagpag” was among the highest-grossing film entries in the 2013 Metro Manila Film Festival. “From its production design to its lighting, overall aesthetic is especially well-crafted,” said Rappler.com’s Zig Marasigan, The reviewer also credited the director for “pulling no punches with his body count.”

Thousands of Fans Flocked at Amoranto Stadium for GMA Artist Center Grand Fans Day Assembly
The Amoranto Sports Complex barely contained the excitement of the fans who attended the GMA Artist Center Grand Fans Assembly last October 23.
Gabbi Garcia and Ruru Madrid opened the festivities with their joint rendition of the theme song of My Destiny - Kung Hindi Ikaw - as the crowd urged them on with screams of "GabRu! GabRu!"
Fresh from their First Dance, First Love stint in Seasons of Love, Miguel Tanfelix and Bianca Umali showed off their dancing skills, and later invited their fans to dance on stage with them.
The crowd went wild for Joyce Ching as she belted out Paramore's Ain't It Fun.
Kapuso hunk Juancho Trivino also dropped by to help with handing out various awards and prizes to the loyal fan clubs who attended the assembly.
Mayton Eugenio fired up the stage as she did an exciting dance off against her choreographer mother Geleen.
Other Kapuso stars who graced the event were Enzo Pineda, who got the loudest cheers that night, Ashley Ortega, Marc Justine Alvarez, Stephanie Sol, and Coleen Perez.
They also thanked their fans for the support they have received, and took time to promote new shows they'll soon be in.

After making heads turn as the muse of Barangay Ginebra at PBA's 40th season opening held last Sunday in Philippine Arena, sexy actress Ellen Adarna was officially named as the 2015 Calendar Girl of the popular liquor brand on Thursday.
Adarna is the 28th calendar girl of the popular sexy calendar since it was first launched in 1988. Previous calendar girls include Aubrey Miles, Angelica Panganiban, Anne Curtis, Solenn Heussaff, Georgina Wilson, and Marian Rivera.
During the press conference, Adarna denied that she and her ex-boyfriend had a sex video. "Wala... sana lumabas na ‘yan matagal na. Wala. Wala po. If meron po, matagal na ‘yan [bali-balita] at saka patay ako talaga. Hindi ako magpapakita."
Adarna also laughed at the questions regarding her nude photos which leaked last September. The photos were taken from a photo shoot of Esquire magazine.

The sexy actress was even proud that the photos that leaked were of good taste and that no photo enhancements were done. “In fairness, walang Photoshop yun, at least flawless. So, okay na, at least hindi siya yung banyo nude selfie."

Sarah Geronimo wins MTV EMA Best SEA Act; may advance to Best Worldwide Act
MTV Asia announced on its Twitter account that Philippines Pop Royalty Sarah Geronimo was voted Best Southeast Asia Act on MTV EMA Music Awards to be held in Glasgow, Scotland on November 9 this year.

Because of this, Geronimo may advance and be voted be voted into the prestigious Worldwide Act award category, the winner of which will be revealed during the 2014 MTV EMA awards night.
For Geronimo to advance to the final round ofWorldwide Act voting as one of 10 international Worldwide Act nominees, fans can cast their votes at mtvema.com. Voting started at 6 p.m. Thursday and would close at 5:59 p.m. Singapore time on Wednesday October 29. The final list of 10 Worldwide Act nominees will be revealed via mtvema.com on October 30.
