SHOW DESCRIPTION: Bubble Gang first aired on GMA Network on October 20, 1995. It was inspired by the ABC's gag show Tropang Trumpo. Two of its first cast members; Ogie Alcasid and Michael V. came from that show. The show occupied the Friday night timeslot of the now-defunct musical variety show, Vilma!. The cast of the show where: Aiko Melendez, and Eric Fructuoso, and newcomers Susan Lozada, Assunta De Rossi, Jackie De Guzman, Wendell Ramos and Antonio Aquitania (who were hired by the late GMA talent manager, Douglas Quijano) who is one of the first casts of Bubble Gang with Alcasid and Michael V. on their early days. There were two extras in the show, such as Diego Llorico, who was working as a production assistant to the show, currently also a segment producer, & Susan Lozada's personal assistant Marissa "Mykah" Flores, she was eventually one of Wendell Ramos love interest.

SHOW DESCRIPTION: Beginning November 10, GMA News and Public Affairs - the only four-time Peabody Award recipient in the country – unveils dynamic changes in its award winning newscasts, particularly in GMA7's primetime newscast 24 Oras, late-night news source Saksi and midday news bulletin Balitanghali on GMA News TV.

24 Oras' formidable and time-tested tandem of Mel Tiangco and Mike Enriquez will welcome veteran journalist Vicky Morales as their newest co-anchor. Joining forces, they become the triumvirate to beat on primetime news.

24 Oras has been a household name since 2004 when GMA News and Public Affairs launched what would be the Kapuso Network's flagship nationwide primetime newscast. The program has since served the need of viewers for non-biased and balanced news, and later even extended broadcast to include weekends.

Monday will also see the rebranding of GMA's regional newscasts into the 24 Oras brand, delivering the news in the distinct 24 Oras style all over the country.

Late-night news source Saksi, led by Arnold Clavio, meanwhile, will have Pia Arcangel on board as its newest co-anchor. Seasoned broadcast journalist Connie Sison, on the other hand, will take over as Raffy Tima's co-anchor in the leading midday newscast Balitanghali, which airs daily on GMA News TV.

Weekend news program 24Oras Weekend will still be headlined by Jiggy Manicad and Pia Arcangel, while Mariz Umali and Jun Veneracion anchor Balitanghali Weekend.

With new anchors on board, expect these fortified news programs to continue providing the public with balanced and unbiased news.

"These changes reflect our goal to inject a new dynamism to our newscasts, while still remaining true to our commitment to Serbisyong Totoo— the hallmark of GMA News and Public Affairs," says Senior Vice President for News and Public Affairs Marissa L. Flores.

24 Oras airs from Monday to Friday at 6:30PM and Saksi at 11:00PM, while 24 Oras Weekend airs at 5:30PM every Saturday and Sunday on GMA 7. Balitanghali, meanwhile, airs weekdays at 11:30AM. Balitanghali Weekend airs at 12nn on GMA News TV.

 BARBIE FORTEZA'S four leading men in "Meant to Be" now have their respective legion of fans rooting for them. Some folks are mad that the past few episodes seem to be so partial to Ken Chan so they want more exposure for the three other guys: Ivan Dorschner, Jak Robert and Addy Raj. Director L.A. Madridejos says all of them will be given equal exposure in the coming weeks.

Meantime, the four guys will be the special guests of Rhian Ramos and Solenn Heussaff in the toprated show about food and restaurants, "Taste Buddies", tonight on GMA News TV. They will be competing in an intense tournament at Onboard Games + Gastro Pub where they can choose from 700 games and many food selections. Solenn and Ken will prepare the best sellilng Nacho Hai and friend wanton chips with Japanese toppings. Addy, Ivan and Jak will choose from a selection of juice


blends, mocktails, craft beers and liquors by the bottle, including the famous Mega Milkshake and Ferrero Nutella Landslide. All these treats at "Taste Buddies" tonight at 8:15 on GNTV.
