Vice Ganda, Anne Curtis, Karylle, Amy Perez Reveal What They Think Are Each Other's Endearing Qualities As Hosts Of 'It's Showtime'

SIX HOSTS of "It's Showtime" showed up at the presscon for their "Tawag ng Tanghalan" finals that will be held today: Vice Ganda, Anne Curtis, Karylle, Amy Perez, Ryan Bang and Jugs Jugueta. We ask them what they find most endearing in each other after all these years that they've been working together.

"Endearing naman silang lahat," says Vice Ganda. "Endearing pati imperfections namin na tinanggap at minahal na namin sa isa't isa. We've accepted both the positive and the negative, the strengths and weaknesses of each other."

"Sa amin kasi, what you see is what you get," adds Anne. "Kung ano ka man on the air, ganun din off air, and we've learned to like each other as brothers and sisters. Kahit nagkakaasaran kami kung minsan, we have become a family."




"Bawat isa naman, may endearing quality," says Karylle. "Si Tiyang Amy is a relative, so bata pa ako, nakakasama ko na siya and I used to even sleep in her house. Si Anne, she's getting married na this year and we're excited for her. It's nice to hear her laugh so much. Naging magkapartner din kami sa Magpasikat segment noon, yung bumibitin siya sa mataas na building, and I really admire her for pushing herself to the limits. As for Vice, Ms. No Filter yan. Ganun siya talaga kaganda. Si Ryan he's Korean and he's hot now."

Ryan says: "Close kami lahat, lalo na ako kay Mommy (Vice Ganda). Pati lovelife niya, alam ko. Mga guwapo, lumalapit sa kanya, mga foreigner pa. Sina Anne at Karylle, special sila sa'kin kasi mga Ate ko yan, ako ang bunso sa amin."

Amy says she joined "It's Showtime" as a host just a year ago. "Ang bilis nga ng panahon kasi last year lang ako, pero parang ang tagal ko na with them. And I'm so thankful kasi they really welcomed me and made it easy for me. Para ko na silang mga anak. Alam ko na kung sino ang mabait, ang matakaw, ang makulit, at lahat sila, minahal ko kahit different ang personalities and moods nila. I'm so thankful na sa edad ko ngayon, nabigyan ako ng chance na makasama sila."

When we ask them who among the eliminated contestants in "Tawag ng Tanghalan" do they feel sorry for, they pointed to Jex de Castro, Lolo Dominador and Lolo Antonio who are all equally talented. News TV Quick Response Team premiered on August 1, 2011 at 4:00pm, anchored by Jiggy Manicad. It is different from any other newscasts in the Philippines because it is the first news program in the Philippines where the anchor is not on the studio, but on the scene of the news.

On January 16, 2012, it was moved to 6:00 pm due to the coverage of the Impeachment of Renato Corona.

On June 11, 2012, it was moved again at 5:30 pm.

On 2014, QRT transferred to its earliest timeslot 5:15pm running in 45 minutes.

RAYMOND 'RS' FRANCISCO is happy over the positive comments that those who watched the premiere night of his movie, "Bhoy Intsik", are saying about the movie and about his performance. "Nakakahinga na ako nang maluwag kasi lahat sila, nagandahan sa movie at kino-congratulate nila ako para sa acting ko, convincing daw," he says. "Sana, mas marami pang manood ngayong palabas na ito sa SinagMaynila Filmfest."

Folks who know that he is good friends with Gretchen Barretto thought she co-produced the movie with him. "Hindi po, hindi siya kasosyo rito. Solo production ko po ito sa sariling company ko, Frontrow Entertainment. Prayers lang po ang kontribusyon niya sa movie. Nag-visita iglesia siya to pray for the film's success kasi first production ko ito and first lead role din."

This is not the first time he produced a movie. "Tumulong din ako sa 'Bwaya' ng late Direk Francis Pasion at 'Kasal' ni Direk Jay Altarejos na Cinemalaya entries and in 'Lorna' ni Direk Sigrid Bernardo for Cinema One Originals, all in 2014. Pero ngayon pa lang ako nag-produce ng solo. Wala pa kong kinita sa movies that I produced but I get my own personal fulfillment kasi passion ko talaga ito."

"Bhoy Intsik" is now showing in selected theaters as part of the little known and barely promoted SinagMaynila Filmfest.

Yeah, it's a Top 6 (not Top 5) for Tawag ng Tanghalan finals tomorrow in Resorts World Manila, after Pauline Agupitan and Marielle Montellano tied for the 5th and final slot.
