'The Boss Baby' - Poster and Trailer

Clad in a business suit, the youngest member in the family has arrived in “The Boss Baby.” In DreamWorks Animation’s latest trailer reveal, there’s no question who the boss is in this family – the one who wears the suit and throws an enormous fit of tantrums when things don’t go his way, ergo, “The Boss Baby.”

The titular character, “The Boss Baby” is voiced by talented veteran actor Alec Baldwin, and from the day the baby arrived, seven-year-old Tim (Miles Bakshi) knew this fast-talking, briefcase-carrying baby was trouble – after all, there’s only so much love to go around, right? But as Tim embarks on a mission to win back the sole affection of his parents, voiced by Liza Kudrow and Jimmy Kimmel, he stumbles upon a secret plot that threatens to destroy the balance of love in the world – and this brash baby executive masquerading as his new brother is at the center of it all. Now, they must come together as true brothers to stop the dastardly scheme, save their parents, restore order to the world, and prove that love is indeed an infinite force.

Based on Marla Frazee’s 2010 award-winning picture book of the same title “The Boss Baby,” the movie is directed by Tom McGrath and will open on April 15, 2017 (in Phils. cinemas) from DreamWorks Animation and 20th Century Fox to be distributed by Warner Bros.

Psychological thriller 'A Cure for Wellness' by Gore Verbinski - Trailer Reveal

20th Century Fox and New Regency give us a peek into the intriguing premise of the upcoming psychological thriller “A Cure for Wellness” with its recent trailer reveal.

“A Cure for Wellness” is directed by Oscar winner Gore Verbinski (“Rango”) and stars an impressive cast that includes Jason Isaacs “(Harry Potter,” “Fury”), Dane DeHaan (“Amigo,” “Chronicle,” “The Amazing Spiderman 2”), Mia Goth (“Nymphomaniac Vol. 2”) and Adrian Schiller (“The Danish Girl”). Stephen Amell, who played as Green Arrow on the American television series posted his blushed emoji from the shared video on Facebook. In a response, Suzette Doctolero, Alyas Robin Hood consultant clarified that it is not a rip-off of Arrow and both Alyas Robin Hood and the DC character/TV series are inspired by English folklore Robin Hood.

Live audience and viewers at home were left stunned by Team Anne Curtis' breath-taking, heart-stopping performance earlier for It's Showtime's 7th annual Magpasikat 2016.

Team Anne was composed of Amy Perez, Joey Marquez, Miho Nishida, Dawn Chang, Krissha Viaje, Maika Rivera, Paulo Angeles and Ryle Santiago.

My heart stops for awhile when Anne, together with Dawn and Krissha, performed "buwis-buhay" dance routines outside, while hanging from an insanely high, 100-ft building.

It was very dangerous. Hats off to the three girls. They absolutely took us higher, and brought a real treat to the viewers.

The other members, led by Tiyang Amy and Tsong Joey, meanwhile also performed aerial dance routines, but were done inside the Showtime studio.

I think we have a winner already, even if Vice Ganda's team is yet to perform tomorrow.

Yesterday's group of Jugs, Teddy, Karylle and Mariel Rodriguez plus Jameson Blake, Ronnie Alonte and some GirlTrend members, was also amazing, with their indoor music festival.

Diana Zubiri, The Original Danaya, Back In 'Encantadia' Remake As The Traitor, Lila Sari

DIANA ZUBIRI is back on GMA-7 after appearing in some shows on ABS-CBN. And she's back in her former show, "Encantadia", where she was the original Danaya, now played successfully by Sanya Lopez. Diana plays the mysterious character called Lila Sari, who's the traitorous ward of Solenn Heussaff as Cassiopeia. She will be an ally of Adhara (played by Sunshine Dizon, the original Pirena) in fighting the Sangg'res.


Lila Sari originally appeared with a mask hiding her face and it's only now that her full face and appearance have been revealed. Diana has just given birth to her baby daughter last August 14, with husband Andrew Smith as the dad. Two months after giving birth, she's back to work and also back in top sexy form looking like she didn't give birth at all.

"It's nice to be back with GMA and in 'Encantadia', a show that means so much to me," she says. "At tuwang-tuwa rin ako sa naging reunion namin ni Sunshine Dizon ngayong pareho na kaming mothers with our own kids. Madalas nga kaming nagre-reminisce ng good experiences namin when we did the original 'Encantadia' more than ten years ago."

Aldub Fans In A Frenzy As Alden Richards And Maine Mendoza Are About To Wed In Eat Bulaga's Kalyeserye This Saturday

SO WHO says the Aldub fever is over? "Eat Bulaga" continues to reign supreme at noontime, especially now that the Kalyeserye has been successfully revived, with no less than 40 to 60 TV commercials per break! (We counted it.) And the talks of Alden Richards and Maine Mendoza having a wedding this Saturday are sending their loyal fans into frenzy.

In all appearances, the wedding this Saturday looks for real, as Alden and Maine even had a pre-wedding seminar with Fr. Jeffrey Quintela (the same priest who officiated in the Vic-Pauleen wedding) to prepare them for their upcoming nuptials. The couple even had a pre-nuptials pictorial with their glam team and a professional photographer. Liz Uy came as stylist to help Maine choose her wedding gown. We just hope what happened then at Philippine Arena when Liz gave Maine a gown already won by somebody else won't be repeated this time.

Alden and Maine are also shown having a bedroom pictorial with them in their immaculately white nightwear. They seem so relaxed and at ease with each other. We heard that for their actual wedding, they want a Halloween motif since Todos Los Santos is just around the corner. Let's see if their wish would be granted since we honestly think that the macabre trimmings of Halloween won't be that appropriate for a happy occasion like a wedding.

NEVER SAY DIE: Barangay Ginebra Finally Wins PBA Championship After 8 Long Years!

Barangay Ginebra Kings just nailed the PBA Championship after 8 long years! They had their back to back in the year 2005 to 2006. They had their last championship in the year 2008 but went downhill afterwards as they keep on changing coaches which evidently affected the dynamics of the team!

But in the 2nd year of having coach Tim Cone, they were able to win the championship against Meralco Bolts within 6 games in a best of 7 game series. Meralco  Bolts dominated Game 1, but Barangay Ginebra was able to bounce back in Game 2 after the buzzer beater 3-point shot of Japhet Aguilar. In Game 3, Meralco proved that they were not backing down as veteran player Reyniel Hugnatan and Jimmy Alapag took charge!

But game 4, veteran and retiree player who happens to be celebrating his birthday during the game, JJ Helterbrand surprised everyone as he started firing from the 3-point line and bring back the momentum in the team! Game 5 was dominated once again by Barangay Ginebra as they were able to keep a lead all throughout the game. “It’s not that Meralco is playing bad. It’s just that Ginebra is playing spectacular!” One commentator stated. 

And tonight, October 19, despite the bad start and Meralco leading in the first 2 quarters, Ginebra surprisingly bounced back and tied the game in 3rd quarter. The 4th quarter was extremely breathtaking as they were exchanging baskets. It was Justin Brown Lee who finished the series after his buzzer beater 3-point-shot. The game was finished with the scored of 91-88.

Meanwhile, LA Tenorio was awarded as the Finals MVP after playing a key role in many plays and scoring double digit for two quarters alone in this game.

LA PROMESA Capitulo 3: Staking Virtually Virgin Territory

For more than a week now, the Peruvians were the biggest readers of the blog. They were searching for "La Promesa serie filipina" or "... novela filipina". When the teleserye was first shown at the Panamericana TV in Peru on September 22, our Peruvian readers were only still searching for news about "Puentes de Amor", the first teleserye shown there. It seems nobody there was aware that a new Pinoy teleserye "La Promesa" was already showing.

The Latin American distributor, 7A Media, posted the first 3 episodes in Youtube about a week ago, together with a few press releases, & that apparently made the people finally aware. We're featuring the third one to support promotions.

Also noticeable was the lack of video clips of the teleserye in the usual telenovela sites which featured Puentes de amor promptly before, a first for an Asian drama (Korean dramas are featured in Asian-only pirate sites which apparently are their own propaganda outlets). That led to its upward ascent in the awareness scale which lifted its ratings later on. Pinoy teleseryes are still a novelty in Latin America, as proved by the initial low ratings of La Promesa. Protection of copyrights might not be wise when one is still virtually an unknown in an area. We still need to pump prime awareness in virgin territories, more now that we are already aware of a fierce regional competitor which tries to sabotage in so many ways.

The “Hokage na Mabagsik” page posted a new video of a drunk guy trying to force himself on a drunk girl.

The three videos show a guy harassing a girl who refuses to have sexual intercourse. The page even captioned their post saying, “tangena totoo tlga na kapag may ALAK MAY BALAK siguradong may MAWAWASAK !! #Tsunade.”

The post gained a lot of reactions from the netizens. Here are some:

Which nominated housemate deserves to stay on PBB Lucky Season 7?

Half of the remaining housemates on Pinoy Big Brother PBB Lucky Season 7 have just been named as this week's nominees for eviction.

Three (3) among Yong, Edward, Christian, Maymay, Kisses and Vivoree are up for eviction (credits to PBB/ABS-CBN)

As announced during last night's episode, housemates Edward Barber, Christian Morones and Maymay Entrata are SAFE from the nomination, while the remaining 3 - Yong Muhajil, Kisses Delavin and Vivoree Esclito - are the nominated housemates who are in danger of getting evicted from the Big Brother house.

PBB: Lucky Season 7 Teens - Yong, Kisses & Vivoree are nominated

After a face-to-face nomination process and an emotional Ligtask Challenge, the new set of nominees for eviction was revealed during the Wednesday night episode of "Pinoy Big Brother: Lucky Season 7" Teens.

During the nomination process aired Monday night, each housemate was required to put ball(s) in the boxes of his/her fellow housemates, ranging from one ball (least number of nomination point) to five balls (maximum number of nomination points).

In the end, each of them had balls in their respective boxes. Yong Muhajil got the least number of balls while Vivoree Esclito and Christian Morones tied with the most number of balls accumulated.
Those balls were also used in the Ligtask Challenge, which all of them underwent. They had to unload their boxes by transferring their balls to the other boxes. After the challenge, the three housemates with the most number of balls would automatically be nominated.
With only a few minutes left during the first round, however, only Vivoree's box had balls in it. All the other teens were able to empty their boxes by transferring all their balls to Vivoree's. They tried to console her and after a while, Kisses Delavin's good heart took over and she began transferring some of the balls to her own box. In the end, the two of them were named nominees.
But one more was needed, so the other four housemates underwent the same challenge where Yong emerged as the third nominee.
