TV5 Happy Their Saturday Night Programs Rate Well: 'Lola Basyang', 'Parangnormal Activity' & The Well Loved Sitcom 'Kano Luvs Pinay'

Viewers also find endearing the unlikely romance between the witty and smart Cookie (Tuesday) and the loving Matthew (Lee), or “Matchew” as she fondly calls him, who keeps mispronouncing a lot of Filipino words. A rap song they sing in one sequence is now a big hit on youtube as it’s really done in a very entertaining way. Don’t miss “Kano Luvs Pinay” every Saturday night at 9PM on TV5.

Watch: Pastillas Girl to Bashers: "Totoong tao ako. Bago kayo mag-judge tingnan n'yo muna sarili n'yo."

An emotional Angelica Jane Yap popularly known as "Pastillas Girl" appeared on "It's Showtime" Thursday afternoon opening up about the hate messages and negative comments she has been receiving on social media for the past couple of days..

"Pastillas Girl" immediately became a hit among viewers of "It's Showtime" when she made her first appearance on the show last Friday, September 11, after she was invited by comedian Vice Ganda to guest on his advice segment.

The appearance triggered a quest to find her "Mr. Pastillas," which set Twitter ablaze with thousands of hopeful suitors.

But "Pastillas Girl" is not everyone's cup of tea. Some netizens do not like her, posting hate messages on Twitter.

Aware of the bashing that "Pastillas Girl" has been getting on Twitter, Vice Ganda asked her: "Sa lahat ng mga nangyari, magmula nang nagsimula tayo, hangaang sa puntong ito, anong nararamdaman mo?"

"Pastillas Girl" tried to hold back her emotions, but tears started flowing when she saw her mother, who was also in the "Showtime" studio to support her.

"Sa totoo lang, bago sa akin itong lahat. Totoong tao ako, lahat ng nakikita niyo ay totoo. Hindi po ako artista. Bago po ito lahat sa akin. Sana kilalanin niyo muna ako bago niyo ako i-judge. Lahat ng tanong niyo kaya kong sagutin, binuksan ko po 'yong buhay ko para po dito," she said.

"Hindi po ako perpektong tao, nagkakamali rin po ako, kaya sana kung magja-judge po tayo ng isang tao, tignan po muna natin 'yong sarili natin. Kasi ang sakit e, tao lang din ako. Hindi por que nakangiti ako, nakakatulog na rin ako ng maayos sa gabi." she added.

"Pastillas Girl" also thanked her growing number of supporters on social media. She currently has a fan page in Facebook that has over 150,000 likes, while her account on Twitter has over 30,000 followers.
