Angelo Castro is Dead

Veteran broadcast journalist Angelo Castro, Jr. succumed to death due to lung cancer on April 5, Maundy Thursday . He was 67 years old.   Also known as ACJ, the former World Tonight anchor died at St. Luke's Medical Center surrounded by his wife, June Keithley, their son, Diego, and other family members.   ACJ joined ABS-CBN in 1986 when it re-opened after the EDSA revolution. He anchored several news and current affairs specials in ABS-CBN and ANC including the ANC Chronicles, a special on the top stories covered by ANC over the past 15 years.   Here's a statement from ABS-CBN regarding Angelo Castro, Jr.'s death:   ABS-CBN mourns for the passing of veteran broadcast journalist Angelo Castro Jr, who has been an icon of Philippine broadcast news. ABS-CBN is thankful for his contributions to media and many years of service as its news anchor for "The World Tonight."   We enjoin the public in praying for the eternal repose of his soul.

Tiki Barber Divorce with Ginny Barber Now in Court

Tiki Barber, Former New York Giants running back,  and his (ex) wife Ginny Barber have reached a divorce settlement a Manhattan Supreme Court confirmed on Wednesday. The estranged couple have been involved in bitter split since 2010.   The clerk said the the former couple now have 60 days to turn in the settlement to the court.   Barber was hit with a divorce after his wife of 11 years discovered he is involved in an immoral relationship with his then-23-year-old mistress.
 
Barber planned to marry his mistress in the spring, but had to postpone the ceremony until the divorce was finalized.
