“The Amazing Spider-Man” 3rd Trailer Hits the Web

One of the world’s most popular characters is back on the big screen as a new chapter in the Spider-Man legacy is revealed in The Amazing Spider-Man™. Focusing on an untold story that tells a different side of the Peter Parker story, the new film stars Andrew Garfield, Emma Stone, Rhys Ifans, Denis Leary, Campbell Scott, Irrfan Khan, with Martin Sheen and Sally Field.

The film is directed by Marc Webb from a screenplay written by James Vanderbilt, based on the Marvel Comic Book by Stan Lee and Steve Ditko. Laura Ziskin, Avi Arad, and Matt Tolmach are producing the film in association with Marvel Entertainment for Columbia.

The Amazing Spider-Man is the story of Peter Parker (Garfield), an outcast high schooler who was abandoned by his parents as a boy, leaving him to be raised by his Uncle Ben (Sheen) and Aunt May (Field). Like most teenagers, Peter is trying to figure out who he is and how he got to be the person he is today. Peter is also finding his way with his first high school crush, Gwen Stacy (Stone), and together, they struggle with love, commitment, and secrets. As Peter discovers a mysterious briefcase that belonged to his father, he begins a quest to understand his parents’ disappearance – leading him directly to Oscorp and the lab of Dr. Curt Connors (Ifans), his father’s former partner. As Spider-Man is set on a collision course with Connors’ alter-ego, The Lizard, Peter will make life-altering choices to use his powers and shape his destiny to become a hero.

XYRIEL, MAY REGALO SA MGA NANAY

Sa darating na Mother's Day, isang tribute para sa mga nanay ang ihahandong ng Kapamilya child wonder na si Xyriel Manabat sa pagpapatuloy ng kanyang "Wansapanataym" special ngayong Sabado (Mayo 12).

Sa 'Hungry Birds' episode, gagampanan ni Xyriel ang karakter ni Maya, isang batang nagtatampo at sumusuway sa inang mag-isang nagtaguyod sa kanya. Dahil sa ugali ni Maya, isang mahiwagang ibon ang mabibigay ng parusa sa kanya na maging isang taong ibon. Matututunan na kaya ni Maya na pahalagahan ang kanyang ina sa oras ng kanyang pag-iisa?
 
Makakasama ni Xyriel sa episode sina Assunta de Rosi, Ana Capri, at Raquel Monteza. Ito ay sa ilalim ng panulat ni Ayi Tamayo at direksyon ni Joj Saguin.

Pasok agad sa top 3 overall TV programs ng Pilipinas ang Primetime Bida royal teleserye ng ABS-CBN na "Princess and I" tampok ang 'prinsesa ng primetime' na si Kathryn Bernardo kasama ang powerhouse cast nito na sina Albert Martinez, Gretchen Barretto, Precious Lara Quigaman, Dominic Ochoa, Enrique Gil, Daniel Padilla, at Khalil Ramos.

Dalawa lang patutunguhan nun, either ini-interview ako sa loon ng kulungan o ini-interview ako na nagsasalita ako ngayon. Pero ito lang ang mensahe ko sayo Mr. Santiago at Ms. Barretto - saksakan kayo ng sinungaling. Maraming...kahit sinong tanungin nyo sa airport, natatawa ang mga tao roon na hindi nauna yung Kuya ko nagbitaw ng suntok. Lalo na kay Claudine, wala sa ugali ng Tulfo ang manakit ng babae. Ben Tulfo: Pero sa akin isa lang ang gagawin ko, Raymart pakinggan mo sasabihin ko - binabangga ko ang mga kriminal, mamamatay tao, matinong tao pero kung gusto mo malaking warehouse sarado, mag-aantay mga ambulansya, last man standing, lalabas sa loob, magsasara tayo ng pinto. Titingnan ko ang galing mo.

Erwin Tulfo: 'Di pa tayo tapos Raymart, di pa tayo tapos. Antabayan mo lang ang lintik na ganti ng Tulfo

Just this morning, on his interview at ABS-CBN daily morning show Umagang Kay Ganda, Mon Tulfo said that his brothers' reactions, moreso the threath they put on Claudine and Raymart, were really uncalled for.

The oldest Tulfo said:

Alam mo, maling-mali sila doon. Pinagalitan ko sila, sabi ko bakit naman ganoon?

"Alam mo ‘yung bugso lang ng damdamin, they realized their mistakes. Sinabi ko nga na maling mali ‘yung sinabi niyong ‘yan. Dapat hindi niya sinabi ‘yan. Unang una ‘yung public opinion ay nasa atin na and pangalawa ‘yung revenge is the lowest form of retaliation, yun ang sabi ko.'

"Alam naman nila na nagkamali sila at nagsisisisi sila. Ako kasi ang pinakamatanda sa magkakapatid. Nagsilbi nga akong magulang sa kanila noong nag-aaral pa sila. Sabi nila 'Oo nga kuya, nadala lang kami noong nakita naming ikaw ay aping-api.'"

“The `Men in Black’ movies are about the relationship between Agents J and K,” says Will Smith, who returns to one of his signature and favorite roles, Agent J, in Columbia Pictures’ eagerly anticipated adventured comedy, “Men in Black 3.”

“This movie brings that home – it’s about the power and origin of their relationship. It’s actually an idea we’ve had for years – we had the concept before the second movie – but it needed time to mature. What we had to do was elevate the story, and the only way to do that is to go deeper, deeper into the characters, deeper into the revelations that the movie would reveal.”

In the film, Agents J and K (Tommy Lee Jones) are back… in time. J has seen some inexplicable things in his 15 years with the Men in Black, but nothing, not even aliens, perplexes him as much as his wry, reticent partner. But when K’s life and the fate of the planet are put at stake, Agent J will have to travel back in time to put things right. J discovers that there are secrets to the universe that K never told him — secrets that will reveal themselves as he teams up with the young Agent K (Josh Brolin) to save his partner, the agency, and the future of humankind.

It has been ten years since the Men in Black were last seen protecting the Earth from the scum of the universe, and since then, there has been rampant speculation about a third film – but Smith says that it was always a given that there would be a third film. “We came to a point where we all felt that we had a fresh and compelling story that took the audience to a time and place they had not seen in this franchise,” says Smith.

For his part, Will Smith was excited to put the black suit and shades on again. Agent J is one of his favorite characters and as he made his long-awaited return to the role there was nothing quite like getting into costume. “You can’t beat the black suit,” he says. “It’s such powerful, iconic imagery. You put on the suit and the shades and it throws you into the mental space of the Men in Black. It’s like a childhood fantasy – you know things that the other people don’t know and you’ve got the most important job in the world. The seven-year-old boy in me comes running out when I put the black suit on.”

“The `Men in Black’ movies are about the relationship between Agents J and K,” says Will Smith, who returns to one of his signature and favorite roles, Agent J, in Columbia Pictures’ eagerly anticipated adventured comedy, “Men in Black 3.”

“This movie brings that home – it’s about the power and origin of their relationship. It’s actually an idea we’ve had for years – we had the concept before the second movie – but it needed time to mature. What we had to do was elevate the story, and the only way to do that is to go deeper, deeper into the characters, deeper into the revelations that the movie would reveal.”

In the film, Agents J and K (Tommy Lee Jones) are back… in time. J has seen some inexplicable things in his 15 years with the Men in Black, but nothing, not even aliens, perplexes him as much as his wry, reticent partner. But when K’s life and the fate of the planet are put at stake, Agent J will have to travel back in time to put things right. J discovers that there are secrets to the universe that K never told him — secrets that will reveal themselves as he teams up with the young Agent K (Josh Brolin) to save his partner, the agency, and the future of humankind.

It has been ten years since the Men in Black were last seen protecting the Earth from the scum of the universe, and since then, there has been rampant speculation about a third film – but Smith says that it was always a given that there would be a third film. “We came to a point where we all felt that we had a fresh and compelling story that took the audience to a time and place they had not seen in this franchise,” says Smith.

For his part, Will Smith was excited to put the black suit and shades on again. Agent J is one of his favorite characters and as he made his long-awaited return to the role there was nothing quite like getting into costume. “You can’t beat the black suit,” he says. “It’s such powerful, iconic imagery. You put on the suit and the shades and it throws you into the mental space of the Men in Black. It’s like a childhood fantasy – you know things that the other people don’t know and you’ve got the most important job in the world. The seven-year-old boy in me comes running out when I put the black suit on.”

‘Talentadong Pinoy: Battle of the Champions’ Garners High Ratings


The hoola hoop and fire dancing master Daniel Darwin a.k.a Astroboy, became the 3rd “Ultimate Talentado.”

It was de ja vu all over again. Similar to its past two seasons, Talentadong Pinoy’s 3rd Battle of the Champions held last Saturday (May 5) at the Quezon Memorial Circle reigned supreme over its competition. Based on the data from Nielsen Media Research, Talentadong Pinoy’s Battle of the Champion 3-hour special topped its 7:30-10:30pm timeslot in Mega Manila with 10.4% AMR (31.6% audience share)—beating rival programs on ABS-CBN and GMA. The much anticipated performance night of the eight finalists also put TV5 within the top ranking shows nationwide with 9.2% AMR (28.5% audience share).

For its Sunday episode, Talentadong Pinoy also received high ratings for the results night and the celebrity edition of the show with a 8.8% AMR (28.6% audience share) in Mega Manila and 7.9% AMR (26.5% audience share) nationwide.

Daniel Darwin, the hoola hoop and fire dancing master more popularly known as Astroboy, bested seven other Hall of Famers and was declared the “Ultimate Talentado”. He now joins the ranks of former Battle Champion winners Yo-yo Tricker Joshua Davis and Joseph the Sand Artist. Like the two before him, Astroboy will represent the Philippines to the prestigious World Championships of Performing Arts (WCOPA) in Hollywood, California. He also took home one million pesos and a brand new Chevrolet Cruze.

For the celebrity edition, Arnel Ignacio wowed the audience and the Talent Scouts with his piano skills and his heartfelt composition, earning him the title of Celebrity Talentado. The versatile host and comedian also won 100,000 pesos to be shared with Leah Patricio, a former Talentadong Pinoy Hall of Famer who sung and accompanied him during his performance.

Aside from the amazing talent acts, audiences were entertained by the inspiring and entertaining quips of celebrity Talent Scouts Audie Gemora, Tuesday Vargas, Jed Madela, John Lapus, K Brosas, Joey Reyes, Ruffa Gutierrez, Zoren Legaspi, Joey de Leon, Lucy Torres-Gomez, Judy Ann Santos, and the Superstar Ms. Nora Aunor. The Megastar Sharon Cuneta also graced the event for a special performance.

For its performance night, more than 11,000 people flocked the open grounds of Quezon Memorial Circle to watch the Hall of Famers battle it out one last time. On Sunday, a crowd of almost 14,000 came to the same venue to witness the momentous results of this year’s Battle of the Champions.

MAGICAL ‘TAIL’ NI "ARYANA" MAGSISIMULA NA SA LUNES

Sa Lunes (May 7) na ang pinakapinananabikang pagsisimula ng fantaseryeng tampok ang kauna-unahang teenage mermaid sa primetime TV, ang "Aryana" na pagbibidahan ng 2008 FAMAS Best Child Actress na si Ella Cruz.

Ayon kay Ella, magkahalong kaba at excitement na ang kanyang nararamdaman sa pagbubukas ng kanilang teleserye na naging trending topic kamakailan sa sikat na website na Yahoo Philippines.

 "Magugustuhan po ng viewers ang 'Aryana' dahil bagong kuwento po ito ng well-loved character natin na sirena," sabi ni Ella. "Ngayon po, isang modern teenager ang bida. Normal na tao muna siya bago naging mermaid."

Ani pa ni Ella, buong pamilya raw ang hangad pasayahin ng kanilang fantaserye. "Fit for all ages po ang 'Aryana.' ‘Talentadong Pinoy: Battle of the Champions’ Garners High Ratings


The hoola hoop and fire dancing master Daniel Darwin a.k.a Astroboy, became the 3rd “Ultimate Talentado.”

It was de ja vu all over again. Similar to its past two seasons, Talentadong Pinoy’s 3rd Battle of the Champions held last Saturday (May 5) at the Quezon Memorial Circle reigned supreme over its competition. Based on the data from Nielsen Media Research, Talentadong Pinoy’s Battle of the Champion 3-hour special topped its 7:30-10:30pm timeslot in Mega Manila with 10.4% AMR (31.6% audience share)—beating rival programs on ABS-CBN and GMA. The much anticipated performance night of the eight finalists also put TV5 within the top ranking shows nationwide with 9.2% AMR (28.5% audience share).

For its Sunday episode, Talentadong Pinoy also received high ratings for the results night and the celebrity edition of the show with a 8.8% AMR (28.6% audience share) in Mega Manila and 7.9% AMR (26.5% audience share) nationwide.

Daniel Darwin, the hoola hoop and fire dancing master more popularly known as Astroboy, bested seven other Hall of Famers and was declared the “Ultimate Talentado”. He now joins the ranks of former Battle Champion winners Yo-yo Tricker Joshua Davis and Joseph the Sand Artist. Like the two before him, Astroboy will represent the Philippines to the prestigious World Championships of Performing Arts (WCOPA) in Hollywood, California. He also took home one million pesos and a brand new Chevrolet Cruze.

For the celebrity edition, Arnel Ignacio wowed the audience and the Talent Scouts with his piano skills and his heartfelt composition, earning him the title of Celebrity Talentado. The versatile host and comedian also won 100,000 pesos to be shared with Leah Patricio, a former Talentadong Pinoy Hall of Famer who sung and accompanied him during his performance.

Aside from the amazing talent acts, audiences were entertained by the inspiring and entertaining quips of celebrity Talent Scouts Audie Gemora, Tuesday Vargas, Jed Madela, John Lapus, K Brosas, Joey Reyes, Ruffa Gutierrez, Zoren Legaspi, Joey de Leon, Lucy Torres-Gomez, Judy Ann Santos, and the Superstar Ms. Nora Aunor. The Megastar Sharon Cuneta also graced the event for a special performance.

For its performance night, more than 11,000 people flocked the open grounds of Quezon Memorial Circle to watch the Hall of Famers battle it out one last time. On Sunday, a crowd of almost 14,000 came to the same venue to witness the momentous results of this year’s Battle of the Champions.

Simula May 6, ang inaabangang pagbabalik ng Kapuso Primetime Queen na si Marian Rivera sa komedya ay matutupad na dahil pagbibidahan niya ang pikabagong handog ng Kapuso network, ang Tweets for my Sweet.
