Bea Alonzo and Zanjoe Marudo Work for the First Time on Big Screen

Working on their first full-length movie together has been a fun experience for couple Bea Alonzo and Zanjoe Marudo.

Initially, Bea revealed she was hesitant to act opposite her beau in “24/7 In Love.”

Parang naiisip ko baka mailang ako,” Bea shared during the press conference of the movie.

While filming, though, Bea started to enjoy the experience.

Zanjoe, on the other hand, felt it was quite a challenge to act out a scene with his real-life love. What’s even more challenging is that, in the movie, he plays a gender-bender.

Later, he admitted that he took inspiration from up close, as “doon po sa set [ay] maraming bakla,” even citing Bea’s make-up artist as among his many pegs for the role.

The two may already know a lot about each other, but working together led to a few more discoveries. Bea, for one, learned that her boyfriend sweats a lot.

“Pawisin pala siya ‘pag eksena na niya. Para siyang kinakabahan lagi. Nakakatuwa na hindi siya nagre-relax, ganyan. So parang pati tuloy ako kinakabahan.

Meanwhile, as co-actor, he describes Bea as very professional.

Hindi katulad naming baguhan na…” he said, letting the thought trail off.

By wanderer || Full Story: Kapamilyalogy

Enrique Gil Wants to Give Back to Fans

It’s that time of the year again when plans for the much-awaited Christmas and New Year holidays are already being laid out, and actor Enrique Gil is among those celebrities who will be away from the bustling streets of Manila next month.

“Punta kaming Hong Kong muna with the family. Tapos baka for New Years’ sa Cebu kami,” Enrique briefly said. And it seems like a well-deserved vacation for Enrique, especially since his primetime soap “Princess and I,” which co-stars Kathryn Bernardo, Daniel Padilla, and Khalil Ramos, continuous to generate overwhelming responses from viewers and their fans alike.

To this, Enrique expressed, “Solid! I mean, n’ung start medyo shaky lang, pero it ended up really nice. And hanggang ngayon ang dami pa ring sumusuporta. So sobrang happy ko.” He also urged the show’s supporters to continue looking forward to the story’s developments, which will be aired in the forthcoming episodes, even predicting, “Magugulat lahat ng tao.”

With that, the young actor not only wishes but also makes sure that he’ll contribute in his own way so that his fans, too, will end the year on a happy note.

“I wanna give lahat ng shows, lahat ng mall shows – I wanna offer it to them, sa lahat. Saka in each mall show, may ibibigay akong gift… for any random fan out there. So ‘yun ‘yung parang gift ko, a way to give back sa mga fans,” he said.
