Aljur Abrenica's lawyer calls people from GMA Artists Center "Kenkoy"
In a press statement sent to selected media entities, Atty Ferdinand Topacio, Aljur Abrenica's lawyer, slammed GMA Artist Center regarding how the GMA Network's talent arm is treating the case of his client.
Buzz came out a few days ago that Abrenica was planning to withdraw the Judicial Confirmation of Rescission of Contract that he filed against the network to which the lawyer vehemently denied. According to him this is just a ploy of some "utak-ipis na diskarte" which will aggravate the situation.
Topacio, however, pointed out that his client is open to talks with the management and will withdraw the case at the context of mediation procedures of the court.

“Nais po lamang naming linawin ang ilang mga lumalabas na pahayag saiba't ibang mga kolum na tila baga lumalabas na nagsisisi na diumano ang aking kliyente na si G. ALJUR ABRENICA sa kanyang inihaing demandalaban sa GMA7 hinggil sa kanyang kontrata, at kusang-loob na niyangiuurong ang mga ito.
“Bagamat totoo namang lagi kaming bukas sa makabuluhang pakikipag-usapsa pamunuhan ng GMA7—bagay na amin nang sinabi mula't sapul pa noongaraw na dumulog kami sa hukuman—hindi totoong pinagsisisihan na ni Aljur ang ginawa niya.
“Ang anggulong ito, sa wari namin, ay kathang-isip na naman ng mgamangmang na elemento sa GMA ARTIST CENTER na nais iligtas ang kanilangsarili sapagkat sila ang dahilan kung bakit nagdemanda si Aljur.
“Ganito rin ang ginawa nila noong nagkaroon ng suliranin sina Bb.Yasmien Kurdi at Bb. Bea Binene, kaya't lumala ang gulo.
"Dapat nilang malaman na hindi sila nakakatulong sa pamamahala ng GMA7, at ang mga utak-ipis na diskarteng ito ay tiyak na makasasama pa sa kaso nila.
“Kami ay laging handang makipag-usap ng maayos sa GMA7 at sa kanilangmga kinatawan, at ano mang pag-urong ng demanda ay gagawin lamang naminmatapos ang pag-uusap na ito at sa konteksto ng gagawing mga 'mediationprocedures' ng hukuman.
“Napapanahon nang kilalanin ng GMA7 ang mga kenkoy sa GMA ARTIST CENTER upang sibakin ang mga ito at maiwasan ang mga kabulastugang maaaring mangyayari pa kapag hindi nagbago ang sistema dito."

TV5's Movie Made for TV Horror-Suspense Thriller 'Halik sa Dilim' Airs on October 30
A young family moves to a new home to leave behind a bitter past and start anew, but what if a chance encounter with the paranormal puts their lives at risk and leaves them at the mercy of an obsessed and vindictive ghost?
Such is the premise of the spine-tingling horror-suspense thriller “Halik sa Dilim”, a special TV-movie Halloween presentation which is set to air this Thursday, October 30, 7:00PM on TV5. This original film offering of TV5 is directed by Argel Joseph and stars JC De Vera, Helga Krapf and Nadine Samonte, together with Dang Cruz, Mariel Ponte, Jace Flores, Gio Alvarez, Cita Astals and LJ Moreno.
“Halik sa Dilim” tells the story of Jimuel (JC De Vera), a young doctor who meets the beautiful and seductive Mercedes (Helga Krapf) during a medical mission. Jimuel makes the mistake of getting passionate with the attractive Mercedes, who turns out to be a ghost whose obsession with Jimuel drives her to haunt his wife Charlotte (Nadine Samonte) and daughter Coraline (Mariel Ponte) so that she can have him all for herself.
What follows is a series of hair-raising scenes as the powerful and vengeful ghost of Mercedes violently pursues Charlotte and Coraline. Will Jimuel be able to save his family or will he be possessed by the ghost of Mercedes forever?

Jolina Magdangal and Marvin Agustin Return to ABS-CBN, Lead the Cast of Drama Series 'Flordeliza'
It's official! One of the most popular Kapamilya love teams of the '90s reunite as Jolina Magdangal and Marvin Agustin return to their original home as Kapamilya and will lead the cast of upcoming drama series "Flordeliza".
Days after Marvin announced that he will join the cast of the series, Jolina, on Monday, reported to her first shooting day for "Flordeliza," confirming weeks of speculation that she will reunite with Marvin nearly two decades after they were launched as a tandem via "Gimik" in 1996.
The new series is under the direction of Wenn Deramas, who was also behind Jolina and Marvin's last film together as ABS-CBN stars, "Kung Ikaw Ay Isang Panaginip," in 2002.
Jolina transferred to GMA-7 that year. Marvin followed suit in 2006.
While "Flordeliza" is a drama series, Direk Wenn assured long-time fans of Jolina and Marvin that they will see light moments between the two, which they were known for in the late '90s.
Unlike their contemporaries at the time, Jolina and Marvin rarely had dramatic roles as a love team. "Labs Ko Si Babe," their first primetime series together, was billed as a romantic-comedy.
Direk Wenn added that "Flordeliza," which revolves around two children, is a timely project for both Jolina and Marvin, who are now parents. Marvin is a proud father to twins, while Jolina welcomed her first child with Rivermaya drummer Mark Escueta in February.
