Aljur Abrenica follows brother Vin, transfers to ABS-CBN

Aljur Abrenica, a long-time Kapuso talent, is now officially with ABS-CBN, joining his brother Vin and other StarStruck graduates.

Dreamscape Entertainment, who produced 'Ang Probinsyano' and 'Ikaw Lang Ang Iibigin', has confirmed the news just this afternoon when it posted this photo of Aljur with ABS-CBN big bosses Deo Endrinal, Laurenti Dyogi and Cory Vidanes.

@dreamscapeph: "Visitor of the day @ajabrenica with ABS-CBN bosses Deo Endrinal @montie08 Lauren Dyogi @laurentidyogi and Cory Vidanes @cvvidanes"

The photo caption actually just said Aljur visited their office. But the fact that there's such an update, and those Kapamilya Heads took time to pose for a picture with a him, it just means they already welcomed the soon-to-be dad (his girlfriend is due to give birth anytime from now).

Before this, Aljur already hinted about his network transfer when he posted this yesterday.

Moving forward...

Aljur's younger brother Vin, who also switched networks, has been with ABS-CBN for almost 2 years now after being a talent of TV5 for 3 years. Vin is currently part of the top-rating revenge drama 'Wildflower'.

Meet Some Of The Pretty Contestants In 'Eat Bulaga's' Search For Miss Millennial Philippines

SINCE IT'S IMPOSSIBLE for invited writers to interview all the 38 contestants, they're divided amongst us and those who got to seat in our table are Joanna Marie Abanza, 18, of Apayao; Chelsea Claro, 19, of Nueva Vizcaya; Allyza Molly Teodoro, 22, of Davao City; Berjayneth Chee, 19, of Cagayan de Oro and Misamis Oriental; and Mary Jade Capin, 19, of the new province of Zamboanga Sibugay.

They are all pretty, charming and fairly articulate. They were glad to have the chance to visit Manila, courtesy of EB. Joanna, a college student who studies at the University of Cagayan Valley in Tuguegarao, says Apayao is no longer part of Kalinga like before, but is now a separate province up in the Cordilleras. "We have our own underground river, the Manacota," she says. "Mas maganda pa sa Palawan kaya lang ang hirap puntahan kasi you have to go through virgin forest. Sa amin din po yung famous Marag Valley."

Molly from Davao city proper is a college graduate from the University of the Immaculate Conception and is now reviewing for the CPA board exams. She's a staunch supporter of Pres.Duterte. "I want to help promote the program of good government that he has started," she says.

Chelsea Claro is from the little known town of Diadi in Nueva Vizcaya. She's a tourism senior at the University of Baguio and won her title in May this year. "Usually po, ang nananalo sa amin, yung mga galing sa bigger places like Solano and Bayambang kaya proud kami na taga-Diadi ang nanalo this time, malapit po kami sa Bagabag," she says. "I'm so excited to introduce sa buong bansa all the beautiful spots in our province."

Berjayneth's family is originally from Beijing but they now live in Bulua, Cagayan de Oro. She studies at Liceo de Cagayan and is a member of the Models Association of CDO. She's thrilled to introduce CDO's newest attractions in EB. Mary Jade is taking up political science in St. Vincent's College, Dipolog City. She is proud to promote her new province of Zamboanga Sibugay which is in between Zamboanga del Norte and del Sur and famous for its fabulous Merloquet Falls.

Kris Bernal Talks About The Biggest Challenges In Playing Her Dual Roles Of Nimfa & Rosette In The Hit Soap 'Impostora'

KRIS BERNAL can't help but be amused by the request of some loyal fans of her hit afternoon soap, "Impostora", for her to make her partnership with leading man Rafael Rosell for real and not just for reel. "Hindi ko akalaing magiging ganun karami ang magkakagusto sa tambalan namin," she says. "Maraming nagme-message sa aking kinikilig sila sa sweet moments namin sa screen. Okay na okay raw ang chemistry namin, but we all know hanggang screen lang yun kasi taken na si Rafael."

She admits playing her dual roles as Nimfa and Rosette is proving to be the most demanding thing she has done as an actress. "Kailangan kasi, magkaibang-magkaiba yung dalawang characters na ginagampanan ko. Mukhang mabait at nakakaawa si Nimfa so medyo madali siya for me kasi marami na kong nagawang ganyang characters before. Mas mahirap talaga gawin si Rosette kasi she is so NOT me. Big challenge kasi dapat laging diyosa ng kagandahan ang dating ko sa screen, refined ang galaw, pero very mean and ruthless. So binabago ko ang tone ng boses ko, mas harsh. At nagi-smoke pa ko rito which I don't do in real life. But I feel satisfied kasi tinatawag akong bitch ng ibang galit na viewers when I'm Rosette, which means nagtatagumpay talaga ako in portraying my role. Sabi ko nga, sige, call me a bitch. I like that."

The said episode which starred Yves Flores took the crown as the year's highest-rated MMK episode from the episodes of Liza Soberano ("Korona") and Angel Locsin ("Kotse-kotsehan"), which both registered 36.2% ratings, previously tied as the #1 highest-rating episode for 2017.

I'LL NEVER SAY GOODBYE/MAGPAHANGGANG-WAKAS next on MyTV Africa

This time, it is the turn of ABS-CBN to jump with joy. Finally, it sold a new teleserye abroad after a relatively long-time deluge of new offerings from its local competitors, GMA & TV5!

A close perusal of the list of new teleseryes sold in the teleserye international markets would reveal most of the new ones were almost monopolized by GMA since late last year (TV5 surprisingly maintained traction in Malaysia with titles like Glamorosa & Seduction). Last week, all the new teleseryes being shown in Africa, South America & Southeast Asia (except Burma) is a GMA teleserye. With the end of Memories of Love (Hiram na Alaala) in MyTV Africa, a ray of hope which would certainly melt ABS-CBN's heart finally dawned- it sold a new teleserye: Magpahanggang-Wakas (international title of I'LL NEVER SAY GOODBYE). It will be shown in most of Subsaharan Africa.

I'll Never Say Goodbye stars the sexy Arci Muñoz.
