Kapatid Network TV5 Host Christmas Party To Announce Their New Shows For 2016

TV5 HOSTED a Christmas lunch for the press at the new Novotel Hotel in Cubao. The affair was hosted by Tuesday Vargas and MJ Marfori, and it also served as a presscon for them to introduce Viva Boss Vic del Rosario as their new Chief Strategist for Entertainment in 2016. A teaser trailer showing their offerings for the new year was also shown.

Among the new shows they will introduce is “Ang Panday” starring Richard Gutierrez and Alonzo Muhlach, “Bakit Manipis ang Ulap” with Claudine Barretto and Diether Ocampo, “Tasya Fantasya” with a star from another network to play the title role (they can’t announce yet who she is as her contract from her present station has yet to expire), “Kagat ng Dilim” with horror stories to be directed by Erik Matti, and “Born to be a Star”, a reality show searching for the next top multi-media star with Aiza Seguerra, Mark Bautista and Rico Blanco as the judges. Existing TV5 shows that will still be seen next year include “Wattpad Presents”, “ParangNormalActivity”, “LolaBasyang.com”, “Happy Truck ng Bayan” and “Hi 5”.
Current TV 5 contract stars who are not in the new shows include Derek Ramsay, Jasmine Curtis Smith, Janno Gibbs and Ogie Alcasid. But Boss Vic says that although they will be using their own Viva stars, resident stars of TV5, including Artista Academy discoveries, will continue to be part of the new shows. The fact that Viva is now very much in the picture is obvious in the teaser trailer, which was narrated by Yassi Pressman, a Viva talent.

MISS UNIVERSE 2015 - FINAL TOP 15 HOTPICKS/PREDICTION LIST

Hello Guys! Chelsea here. I will share to you my final TOP 15 rankings!! This is the first time I scored all the girls! It was fun and the result was surprising for me since few of my faves didn't make the cut in my own rankings. hahaha

Yesterday, I watched the Preliminary Show, and while I was watching it, I tried to score the girls from 7.000-9.999 on both SS and EG rounds. To make it easier and more realistic, I used MS Excel so I just put the scores and let Excel calculate the average scores for the final preliminary scores, after scoring all, I revealed the final scores and sort them according to the one who got the highest score and I'm a bit surprised and amazed at the results.

I tried to not peek to the results during the scoring, so that I won't be guilty of anything. Thank goodness I did succeed on not peeking.

I scored the girls based on their performance and who impressed me the most. But I'm not an expert on this, nor expert on creating predictions but here's the result of what I did.

MISS UNIVERSE 2015 - FINAL TOP 15 HOTPICKS/PREDICTION LIST

DOMINICAN REPUBLIC
I admit she wasn't one of my favorites before, but she surprised me the moment she stepped out on stage. She was flawless. Her body is perfect, her face is perfect, her gown is perfect. I don't mind if she will win on Sunday. It was also a surprise to me that she did place higher than Colombia in my rankings.

COLOMBIA
Colombia, Colombia, Colombia. What do I need to say? I'm speechless. Her amazing body during the Swimsuit round really amazed me as well as her elegant golden shimmering gown. She's definitely a frontrunner, from the start and up until the end.

GEORGIA
She really caught my eye ever since. I don't remember what year she was supposed to join, but I can say she really is one of those Georgians who has potential. Now she is in the Top 5 of my list. No wonder why, she did great. I really hope she can take a revenge on Tamar's loss last 2012.

IRELAND
This Cara look alike is so beautiful! She has this angelic face. Even if she's short, she pulled off a great performance during the prelims.

PHILIPPINES
She is the most beautiful Filipino representative in the past ten years. Seriously. She's very prepared. She really has a high chance on becoming the next Miss Universe.

PARAGUAY
Myriam Arevalos, this exotic looking beauty didn't catch my attention before prelims. But she surprised me that night. She was so captivating especially during the Swimsuit round.

PERU
I find her sweet. Before the pageant started, she wasn't my favorite but she did a great job that night. She's among the frontrunners I can say. She's one of my favorites now. I hope she places.

USA
My Olivia! She's so beautiful that night. I love the red gown! It was an upgrade from what she wore during Miss USA. I still believe she can pull it off. I'm sure she can go far in the finals night.

BRAZIL
She's also not my among my favorites before the pageant season starts but she proved me wrong. She's so gorgeous, tall, and very elegant. She's just majestic. I love her performance.

AUSTRALIA
Monikaaa! She never disappointed me. Everytime I see her, she's just slayin' everything!
