Find out on Monday, October 13 (Tuesday, October 14 in Australia, New Zealand, and Guam) as The Filipino Channel (TFC) presents a different story of betrayal and infidelity in the local adaptation of the hit Korean drama “Two Wives” top billed by Kaye Abad as Yvonne, Jason Abalos as Victor, and Erich Gonzales as Janine.
Yvonne, a loving mother to her son, thought that she is lucky to have a perfect family with her husband, Victor. But their happy marriage will suddenly change as single mother Janine enters the picture.
Victor and Janine will start to have a forbidden romance when Janine hires Victor to pretend as the father of her daughter. The single mom loves her child so much that she is willing to pay a huge amount of money monthly to someone who can stand as her husband and a father to her child. As their love affair blossoms, Victor turns cold towards his first wife, Yvonne.
Yvonne will discover her husband’s secret and will be devastated even more when Victor files for an annulment just to be with her mistress. How far can Yvonne go just to restore her trampled dignity and keep her family complete? Will she fight for the man who is legally hers in the first place? How will Janine keep Victor in her loving arms?
“Two Wives” is a remake of a well-loved Korean series aired in the Philippines in 2012 and was one of the first series that tackled the sensitive and timely issue of infidelity.
