Magkaibang Mundo September 16 2016 Full Final Episode Replay????
Handa na ba si Elfino na talikuran ang mundo ng mga dwende para makasama si Princess? #MMFinale

SHOW DESCRIPTION: Magkaibang Mundo (English title: My Secret Love / lit. Different World) is a Philippine fantasy heavy drama television series broadcast by GMA Network starring Louise delos Reyes and Juancho Trivino. It premiered on May 23, 2016 replacing Wish I May on the network's GMA Afternoon Prime block, and will also air worldwide via GMA Pinoy TV.

Assunta returns to GMA Network after 13 years since Hawak Ko Ang Langit as her last soap in 2003, and Gina comeback show since Luna Blanca in 2012. This also serves as the first teleserye of Liezel Lopez after StarStruck.

Princess comes from a prosperous and loving family. Her parents Ruben and Amanda run a shoe-making business and provide generously for their daughter. They teach her to be humble, generous and kind towards everyone, regardless of social stature. Unfortunately, Princess' picture-perfect life takes a turn for the worse when a fire breaks out in their shoe factory.

Ruben dies during the fire while trying to save his sister Noreen. After the incident, all of Ruben's property is transferred to Noreen by law and by virtue of her status as the eldest in the clan. But Noreen, instead of distributing the properties fairly, takes it all for herself. Together with her husband, Jojo, and two daughters, Noreen runs Amanda out of her home so that they can move in. Jojo frames Amanda for an incident wherein an innocent bystander gets severely injured, which leads to her imprisonment.

Princess is left isolated, lonely and bullied by her relatives in her own house. Fortunately, she meets an adventurous elf named Elfino while walking by a mound in the backyard. Elfino uses his magic to cushion Princess from her hardships. She finds comfort in him and their friendship soon grows. Elfino becomes attached to Princess and he finds a way to transform himself into human form so they can always be together. They fall in love and Princess becomes happy despite her family situation.

One day however, Princess discovers a terrible secret. She finds out that Noreen intentionally trapped her father inside the burning factory to steal her family's wealth.

The Trailer Of Cherie Gil's Short Film On Rape, 'TheRapist', Disapproved By The MTRCB

CHERIE GIL is back as a Kapuso in "Alyas Robin Hood" after she did "Dolce Amore" with ABS-CBN that ended last month. She also stars in the short film "TheRapist" (a play on the words therapist and the rapist), whose trailer has been disapproved by the MTRCB for public exhibition. She plays a therapist and co-stars with Marco Morales.

Directed by Ms. Diane Ventura, "TheRapist" is scheduled for commercial release on Nov. 2, in tandem with the commercial run of Ventura's first full-length feature film, the award-winning "Mulat (Awaken)" starring Jake Cuenca, Ryan Eigenmann and newcomer Loren Burgos. In a letter sent to Solar Films, the local distributor of both films by Ventura, MTRCB chief Eugenio Villareal ruled that the trailer is "not for public exhibition", citing "language and scenes depicting sexual activity" as the reason for the disapproval.

Director Diane Ventura, defends her short film: "I understand how this movie could be misconstrued as condoning the vile act of rape. But in this film, I'm not talking about the jump-out-of-the-bushes assault of a helpless victim. I'm talking about certain situations wherein a girl actually has the power and capability to get herself out of a possibly precarious situation where she feels uncomfortable and unsettled."

Diane adds: "It's about female empowerment and not allowing yourself to be put in situations that you do not want to be in, or get yourself in a position where your decision-making capabilities are vitiated. Rape is a detestable crime. That is why this film is important. It tells us that though we have no control over other people's actions and moral values, we do we have control of ourselves and having awareness of this fact helps us in becoming more pro-active. This way, we have the power not to put ourselves in a helpless predicament."

Ventura's "TheRapist" was the official selection in the following film festivals Cinemanila, World Cinema Festival in Brazil, Luang Prabang Festival in Laos and the International Film Festival Manhattan in New York. The public may yet have a chance to see "TheRapist" should MTRCB give it the go signal to be featured side-by-side "Mulat (Awaken)" on Nov. 2 at your favorite theaters.

In "Mulat", Ventura won best director while Jake Cuenca won best actor at the International Film Festival Manhattan in New York; and Best Narrative Feature and Best Actor for Jake Cuenca again from the recent Brazil World Cinema Festival.

Fil-Italian Actor-Director Ruben Maria Soriquez Enjoyed Doing His First Teleserye And Is Now About To Shoot His Second Film After The Award-Winning 'Of Sinners And Saints'

FIL-ITALIAN actor-director Ruben Maria Soriquez won the best actor award in the World Premieres Filipino Filmfest last year for "Of Sinners and Saints", which he also directed. He played Fr. Rosellini, an Italian priest serving the poor people in Payatas. The film has since been shown in other international festivals like the Honolulu filmfest where it won best picture, International Filmfest Awards Berlin (where it got honorable mention), Terra di Sienna Filmfest in Italy, New Delhi Filmfest and the Indie Filmfest in Encino California. It's now being shown in the Cine Europa Filmfest currently being held at Shangrila Cinema where it was the opening film.

"The European Union delegation chose it as a symbol of friendship bridging Europe and the Philippines," he says. "It has had three screenings and they're all full packed. I'm so happy because the audience is so appreciative. It'll have its last screening today (Saturday, September 17) at 1 PM in Shangrila."

The film opened the doors for him to have an acting career on local TV. He just played the role of Liza Soberano's adoptive dad in the recently concluded "Dolce Amore" of ABS-CBN. "I was so surprise when I got a call from them to play Cherie Gil's Italian husband. We taped several scenes in Italy right in the city where I grew up, Bologna. I had a great time doing that show because everyone is so mabait. From directors Mae Cruz Alviar and Richard Arellano to my co-stars Cherie, Direk Bobot Mortiz, and Matteo Guidicelli who's Fil-Italian like me. I told him I'll get him in a movie I'll do next year. And of course, I loved working with Liza Soberano who's not only so beautiful but also intelligent, talented and so humble. When we started last December, they told me my character will be killed by March, but they seem to like my role so it got extended and extended. I was with the show until it ended 8 months later last August. In the show's last week, I was there every night and they gave me a lot of Tagalog lines. Because of my exposure there, people now recognize me in public and have their pictures taken with me."

He's now also talking with Star Music for a possible musical career. "I started as a singer in Italy. I was a member of a band at 16, singing in clubs in Bologna and Milan. I also composed my own songs. I've just sent three of my songs to Star. Then I tried theatre acting but my American teacher told me: 'I see a director in you'. So I enrolled in a filmmaking course in New York and started directing short films and documentaries. I edit my own films and sometimes, I'm also the DOP."
For his next film project, he wants to do a comedy-fantasy about a wizard, to be played by him, incorporating local fantasy elements like aswangs and manananggal. "I'm now doing the teaser trailer and I intend to partner with a local film company then start casting it with local actors, among them Leo Martinez and Isabel Lopez. I also hope to get more acting assignments here in the future."

Grammy, Tony, and Olivier Winning Musical JERSEY BOYS Arrives in Manila

On Wednesday night, September 14, Atlantis Theatrical Entertainment Group (ATEG) officially announced the Manila production of the Tony, Olivier, and Grammy Award-winning musical "JERSEY BOYS," the biographical musical based on the story of the legendary American doo-wop group Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons.

Leading the stellar cast are:

Acoustic balladeer Nyoy Volante in the coveted role of Frankie Valli, lead vocalist of the Four Seasons

Asian Pop Superstar Christian Bautista in the role of Bob Gaudio, singer-songwriter and keyboardist

"The Voice" finalist Nino Alejandro in the role of Nick Massi,

Bass player and singer-actor Markki Stroem in the role of Tommy DeVito, a founding member of the band

Directed by Bobby Garcia, "Jersey Boys," features the music by Bob Gaudio, lyrics by Bob Crewe, the Four Seasons real-life record producer, and book by Marshall Brickman and Rick Elice.

"Jersey Boys" tells the story of the Four Seasons' formation, meteoric rise and descent via four symbolic seasons told from the different and often contrasting points of view of the band members.

Garcia said,"We went through a long audition process with a different combination of boys. What we have now is the best combination we heard and once we begin rehearsals and they master the Four Seasons signature four-part harmonies, I think their sound will be quite thrilling.
"With his immense charm and excellent singing voice, Christian brings that confident bravado that Bob Gaudio has; Nino has an amazing singing voice as well, and he is such an instinctive actor, while Markki is a great singer, too, a sensitive actor, and an extremely hardworking performer. He's been bugging the office daily for the script when he was offered the role of Tommy DeVito because he said he needed to get started working on it - that is how devoted and committed he is."

"Jersey Boys" is also an ideal tribute to 40-year- friendship of Frankie, Bob, Nick, and Tommy.

As a singing group, originally called the Varietones, they went from singing on street corners in the various housing projects in Northern New Jersey to singing on national television as their songs, featuring Frankie Valli's trademark three-octave range and falsetto and a distinctive doo-wop sound, charted 24 Top-30 hits from 1962 to 1968. Their most popular songs include "Big Girls Don't Cry," "Sherry," "Walk Like A Man," "Working My Way Back to You," "Can't Take My Eyes Off You," "My Eyes Adored You," and "December 1963 (Oh What a Night).

"Nyoy has that crazy high falsetto and I think it is perfect for the role of Frankie Valli. I just can't wait to hear him sing these songs," said Garcia. "Jersey Boys is such a well-crafted biographic musical. It manages to both be a celebration of the unforgettable music of the Four Seasons and at the same time a gritty but heartfelt true-to- life tale of friendship, family, and stardom. Like any good musical, it has a fantastic story and bringing that story to life while at the same time honoring the legends who created the music is the challenge - it is also what excites me about the show, apart from our truly first-rate cast."

Joining Nyoy, Christian, Nino and Markki in this production are Jamie Wilson, Bibo Reyes, Nelsito Gomez, Mikkie Bradshaw-Volante, Yanah Laurel, Giannina Ocampo-Van Hoven , Altair Alonso, Steven Conde, Rhenwyn Gabalonzo, Emeline Carmela Guinid, Kendrick Ibasco, Gab Medina, and Timmy Pavino.

JERSEY BOYS run at the Meralco Theatre on the weekends from September 23 until October 16. Tickets are now on sale at www.TicketWorld.com.ph or call Ten Bridges Media Corp. (632) 650 5144

Now in its 11th year on Broadway, "Jersey Boys" officially opened on Broadway at the August Wilson Theatre on November 6, 2005. In 2006, the show won the Tony Award for Best Musical, Best Performance by a Leading Actor in a Musical (John Lloyd Young, who also played the role of Frankie Valli in the movie adaptation in 2014), Best Performance by a Featured Actor in a Musical (Christian Hoff), and Best Lighting Design of a Musical (Howell Binkley). It also won Best New Musical at the 2008 Laurence Olivier Awards in London and Best Musical Show Album at the 2007 Grammy Awards. As of September 22, 2015, after setting a record of at least 4,093 performances, "Jersey Boys" has surpassed "Miss Saigon" as the 12 th longest-running show in Broadway history.

To date, the show has been seen by more than 23 million people worldwide and is currently playing in New York, Las Vegas, London, and in numerous cities across North America and the U.K. In Asia, an international touring production, starring an all-South African cast, played Singapore, South Korea, and Malaysia from November 2012 to April 2014.

Considered as America's most popular singing group before The Beatles, Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons, alongside the Beach Boys, Motown, and Memphis soul, fought their way to the top of the music charts even during the phenomenal "Beatlemania," The Rolling Stones, and British Invasion in the mid-60s. In 1990, the band was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame for selling over 100 million records worldwide.
