Senator Chiz Escudero and her girlfriend Actress Heart Evangelista finally tied the knot.

The wedding ceremony took place at Balesin Island in Quezon on February 15, 2015. A lot of celebrities and big personalities were present during the ceremonies.

Chiz Escudero was accompanied by his twin children as they walked down the aisle.

But the bride, Heart Evangelista walked down the aisle alone. No one escorted her as she walked towards the altar.

Heart Evangelista's parents was unable to attend her wedding. But despite that, her father sent a letter that brought the bride into tears.

Member Jihyun said during the interview,”For the past two years, I think the image we have shown was more like ‘friendly unnies’ rather than ‘strong female warriors’, so it felt a little different when we changed back to the strong image for this album”.

When they were asked about the secrect behind their teamwork, they said,”Eating? We eat really well and we food around each other like guys do”. The members also talked about their close friendship as they often go to the movies together or enjoy cooking for each other at home.

‘Fluttering India’ releases the still cuts of the cast before departure to India

KBS’s upcoming variety show ‘Fluttering India’ has released the still cuts featuring TVXQ’s Changmin, Super Junior’s Kyuhyun, SHINee’s Minho, CNBLUE’s Jonghyun and EXO’s Suho before their depature to India.

In particular, Infinite’s Sunggyu was also one of the cast members but due to his schedule, he departed in a different flight and reunited with the others later in India. For Changmin, he couldn’t join in the trip due to TVXQ’s Dome Tour but he still presented at the airport to see the members off to their trip.

‘Fluttering India’ will follow the six friends in India as they will gain new experiences by trying new things while staying in a foreign country. The show will go on air this spring.

Kang So Ra and Seo Kang Joon have been chosen as the new advertising models for Gupne Chicken.

According to Gupne Chicken on February 16th, Kang So Ra and Seo Kang Joon have recently finished filming for the new commercial ad, in which they will become a newlywed couple after eating the newest menu Honey Curry Crispy Chicken.

A rep from Gupne Chicken said,”Their clean and healthy images are suitable to become our brand’ models. We hope that Gupne Chicken as well as our new models will receive a lot of love through this new ad”.

The new commercial video will be broadcasted on TV starting this March.

A viral video of a little boy proposing his love to a little girl became one of the most watched videos over the social media sites.

It was the proposal of a boy named Gio Catacutan to another girl of the same age as him. With the help of their friends, the plan took place at an open space, where they were patiently waiting for the girl.

Gio was waiting for her. Guitar and messages were prepared as a part of the surprise. When the girl arrived, they immediately played the guitar and Gio knelt in front of her handed the stuffed toy and chocolates while he was holding a paper.

The girl said yes and Gio jumped out of joy. All their friends were happy for them.

These kids were students of San Fernando Elementary School in Pampanga. Both of them are on 6th grade.

The video quickly became viral. In just three days after it was uploaded it already gained almost 300 thousand views on Facebook.

Shinhwa to make their guest appearance on ‘Healing Camp’

Shinhwa has been confirmed to appear on SBS’s ‘Healing Camp’.

According to the officials from SBS, Shinhwa is currently recording for ‘Healing Camp’ today on February 16th. This episode is scheduled to broadcast in March, following the Lunar New Year holiday.

This will make their first variety show return as a group following the ending of JTBC’s ‘Shinhwa Broadcast’ in January 2014, and also their first talk show in 3 years since their appearance on KBS’s ‘Win Win’ in March 2012.

Meanwhile, Shinhwa will release their 12th album ‘WE’ on February 26th and hold their 17th anniversary concert on March 21st and 22nd.

On the live performances of The voice Philippines Season 2, the remaining 3 singers from Team Sarah and Team Lea performed on the stage to fight for their spot to the semi finals.

Team Sarah was composed of Kokoi Baldo, Monique Lua;hat and Jason Dy were the ones who competed for the 2 spots for the semi-finals.

The singers chose a song that would let them show the world what love really is. The song must be a part of Love. It should be about love

Kokoi Baldo performed another reggae song entitled, "Message in a bottle", Monique Lualhati belted out a Mariah Carey song "Butterfly" and Jason Dy hit the high notes of "Kahit Kailan".

All of their performances were amazing but there are only 2 spots left that could advance to the next round. One will be chosen by the people coming from the text votes and the other will be chosen by their Coaches.

Jason Dy was the texter's choice as he gained the highest number of votes. While COach Sarah had a difficult time choosing. Her tears rushed to her face while saying the name of the person that she saved, Monique Lualhati.

Lovi Poe collaborates with Brisom: 'Naging vulnerable ako'

Brisom, the band led by singer/guitarist/namesake Brian Sombero, is fast gaining admiration for its fine balance of electronica, post-rock ambience, and ear worm melodies.

It is a sound that is both current and traditional: exploratory indie colors with pop appeal all over their “Perspectives” EP. They know how to play with notes and technology.

Sombero and Terence Teves play together and with their toys so well they are akin to how Keith Richards described his own partnership with Ron Wood: combined, they make one heck of a guitarist.

Flair for pathos

Stripped of the effects pedals and synthesizers that contribute to their sound significantly, how would the band fare?

Their flair for pathos remains… and you realize precisely how much, or more accurately how little, their toys actually matter.

On the band’s new release “Bigkas,” they opted for a lean arrangement with piano, stringed instruments and acoustic guitar.

Lovi should be a member of the band

Sombero’s warm vocal weaves between the spaces left by the instruments.

And then Lovi Poe joins in, singing so sweetly you wonder why she is not a member of the band.

In harmony and counterpoint, their timbres mesh well and by song’s end, your heart is cracking. The video, directed by Jeremy Lopez, is unobtrusive with no overstated dramatics and avoided the temptation of employing Poe’s acting chops.

An old song needing a new treatment

It would be easy to dismiss the collaboration as an indie band trying to hitch a ride with a well-known actress, except the effort actually works.

In fact, Sombero and Poe have been friends since 2010.

Terence Teves wrote the song, and while it has been played by the band since 2012, Sombero felt it was begging for a different treatment.

Too shy to ask Lovi to sing

He hit upon the idea of opening it up as a collaborative piece and eventually asked Kjwan’s Inky de Dios to play piano and Silent Sanctuary’s Anjo Inacay and Chino David to play cello and violin respectively.

Sombero wanted Poe to do the vocals but was to shy to ask her to work with him until, “Nakita ko siya nag-jam sa Cable Car, tapos she sang this Alicia Keys song. That’s where I decided na, kapalan ko na yung mukha ko to ask her to collaborate with me.”

The video was launched on Feb 11 in Cable Car, the Fort Strip and coincided with Poe’s birthday.

‘Ang sakit ng feeling’

Poe found it easy to maintain the emotional content of the song.

“Very relatable siya. I mean hindi man parehas ng pag-interpret mo sa nagsulat… I think it’s a song that anyone can relate to. I had my own interpretation sa song… naging vulnerable ako because of the lyrics and the music. Yung strings pa lang, ang sakit ng feeling,” she said.

Brisom and Poe will be Ogie Alcasid’s guests for OPMuSIKATin on Feb 20 at the Philippine Arena. “Bigkas” is now available on iTunes.
