The second installment in the highly-successful young adult book phenomenon “The Divergent Series: Insurgent” translates to the big screen with returning cast including Golden Globe®-nominee Shailene Woodley, Theo James, Ansel Elgort, Academy Award®-winners Kate Winslet and Octavia Spencer, Jai Courtney, Ray Stevenson, Zoë Kravitz, Miles Teller, Maggie Q and Mekhi Phifer, based on author Veronica Roth’s New York Times best-seller of the same name.
“The second film in the Divergent franchise takes the story and action to another level and we were able to blend gripping performances and mind-blowing spectacle to create a unique event on screen," said producers Douglas Wick and Lucy Fisher. “We cannot wait to share this experience with audiences around the world.”
Directed by Robert Schwentke and written by Brian Duffield, Akiva Goldsman and Mark Bomback - “The Divergent Series: Insurgent” raises the stakes for Tris as she searches for allies and answers in the ruins of a futuristic Chicago. Tris (Woodley) and Four (James) are now fugitives on the run, hunted by Jeanine (Winslet), the leader of the power-hungry Erudite elite. Racing against time, they must find out what Tris’s family sacrificed their lives to protect, and why the Erudite leaders will do anything to stop them. Haunted by her past choices but desperate to protect the ones she loves, Tris, with Four at her side, faces one impossible challenge after another as they unlock the truth about the past and ultimately the future of their world.
Wherein Veronica Roth’s “Divergent” book series has already sold nearly 30 million copies around the world, “Insurgent” likewise poises to outgross the first Divergent film that grossed nearly $300 million at the global box office. The third and fourth installments in the franchise, Allegiant – Parts 1 & 2, are slated for (U.S.) release on March 18, 2016 and March 24, 2017, respectively.
In the Philippines, the countdown has begun as March 19 nears when cinemas nationwide opens screens for the most awaited spectacle of the year that is “Insurgent.”

Richard Yap and Jodi Sta Maria loveteam no more? Richard Yap will next
be paired with the Queen of Soap Opera Judy Ann Santos.
ABS-CBN Ad prom head Eric John Salut has just announced it on Twitter
this Sunday afternoon: "@ImRichardYap08 will team up with the Queen of
Pinoy Soap Opera Ms. Judy Ann Santos in a teleserye. Soon."
Great news, as it's been a long time already that Judy Ann starred in
a teleserye. She's been doing hosting for more than a year already ('I
Do', 'Bet On Your Baby') and her last soap as 'Huwag Ka Lang Mawawala'
with Sam Milby and KC Concepcion in 2013.
It's another big break for Richard Yap, coming off the highly
successful 'Be Careful With My Heart' daytime soap which ran for more
than 2 years. To be paired with Ms. Judy Ann Santos is pretty
something.
But the sad news is, his loveteam with 'Be Careful' co-star Jodi Sta.
Maria will have to take a rest.
Jodi on one hand is doing 'Pangako Sa 'Yo' and the chance of having
Richard as Eduardo in the soap has become slimmer now that he's doing
a show instead with Judy Ann Santos.

"Unfinished Business" was directed by Ken Scott from a screenplay written by Steven Conrad.

There is a new show that’s guaranteed to give you an exclusive peek into the private spaces of some of the country’s hottest hunks and uncover some of their secrets.
Through ABS-CBNmobile’s new show on mobile called “Invasion of Privacy,” DJ Chacha, the host, will ask each featured hunk questions about love, relationships, sex, and intimate moments.
DJ Chacha is the humorous and witty DJ on MOR 101.9 known for her expression “mwahmwah-tsuptsup.” She dishes out advice to forlorn and troubled callers who want somebody to listen to them and make them laugh despite the weighty matters that preoccupy their minds and hearts.
But aside from having earned the reputation of a humorous love expert, her fans admire her for being sexy, smart, and, perhaps, even sultry.
That makes her perfect as the host of “Invasion of Privacy.” She barges in the private spaces of today’s hottest hunks, and asks them questions nobody dared to ask before. The curiosities in their cars or homes, what they prefer in a girl, and other intriguing bits of trivia are all fair game in this new show.
Daniel Matsunaga, “Pinoy Big Brother: All In” Big Winner, was the first to be interviewed recently. DJ Chacha invaded his black Mitsubishi Montero Sport and asked Daniel questions like, “With whom did you go in your last movie date?”, “Where do you like to kiss a girl?”, “Are you a ‘boobs’ guy or a ‘butt’ guy?”
On February 21, another heartthrob, Robi Domingo, a VJ, actor, dancer, and host, will subject himself to DJ Chacha’s charm and curious questions.
All these fun and revealing interviews are only available on ABS-CBNmobile and iWant TV. Each “Invasion of Privacy” episode will be uploaded to iWant TV every Saturday at 9pm. Fans and admirers of these hunks can now look forward to this weekly treat.
