Anne Curtis Highly Doubts Mariel Rodriguez Gets Jealous of Her Over Robin Padilla

Nothing personal, just work.

This is apparently Anne Curtis' assurance to Mariel Rodriguez when it comes to working with the latter's husband Robin Padilla in a soon-to-be launched ABS-CBN soap opera.

Anne maintained that Mariel has no reason to be jealous of her, notwithstanding the intimate scenes she's required to do with Robin on "Kailangan Ko'y Ikaw."

"The mere fact that they're married, 'di ba? That already says a lot. That's a big commitment alone. I really highly doubt it. At nakikita naman ni Ma kung ga'no kami kasaya din sa mga sari-sarili naming buhay," said she on "The Buzz," Nov. 18.

Robin and Mariel have been married for over two years, while Anne enjoys a smooth-sailing relationship with French-Filipino boyfriend Erwan Heussaff.

The ace action star had earlier dismissed Mariel's alleged jealous streak during a press conference, especially since they are in the same line of work.

"Si Mariel kasi ang klase ng asawang hindi isyu 'yan (romantic scenes)… Ang lagi lang niyang ano (concern) ay kung okay ako. Halimbawa, 'pag umuwi ako na medyo nakita niyang may pilay, dun concerned 'yon," said Robin.

He playfully added, "Pero sa mga halikan, ayaw na na lang niyang pag-usapan siguro kasi baka masabi ko pang masarap eh mabatukan ako!"

His other leading lady on the show is Kris Aquino, who happens to be his ex-girlfriend.

A similar intrigue hounded Mariel in 2011, when she was alleged to have gotten jealous of Bea Alonzo, Robin's onscreen partner on the drama series "Guns and Roses."

The TV5 host assured then that work has never been an issue for her and Robin, and that she has always been a Bea fan. By wanderer || Full Story: Kapamilyalogy
