Sharon Cuneta Returns as Kapamilya, To Join Gary V. and Jed Madela as Jury of “Your Face Sounds Familiar”
The Megastar has come home.
Sharon Cuneta was formally announced as one of the jury members of “Your Face Sounds Familiar,” ABS-CBN’s newest variety show and the Megastar’s latest TV project.
For the first time in her career, the Megastar will sit in a jury to critique the live performances of eight celebrity performers who will impersonate popular local and international music icons in the said program.
The announcement was made following a contract signing that was attended by Sharon, ABS-CBN president and CEO Charo Santos-Concio, COO Carlo Katigbak, free TV head Cory Vidanes, chief financial officer Aldrin Cerrado, TV production head Laurenti Dyogi, and business unit head Lui Andrada.
Filipinos have witnessed the Megastar’s versatility as an artist both on television and in film. In her 34 years in the industry, she has been known to be a multi-platinum recording artist, award-winning actress, host, concert performer, and endorser.
Apart from her credibility and experience as an entertainer, she has also endeared herself to audiences because of her fun personality and authenticity, which will surely add to the unique entertainment experience in “Your Face Sounds Familiar.”
For the past few days, Sharon has expressed her excitement over her latest TV project on social media, thrilling speculation among her fans.
“I love you all from the bottom of my heart for your unwavering love and support,” she told Sharonians on her Facebook page.
Sharon will be joined in the jury by champion singer Jed Madela and Mr. Pure Energy Gary Valenciano. “Your Face Sounds Familiar,” which begins on March 14 and 15, will give total transformation to its celebrity performers, who will impersonate popular music icons and provide viewers with a concert-like entertainment experience.

'Inday Bote' to start airing March 16
Kapamilya TV host-actress Alex Gonzaga will open the magical summer season of TV viewers as ABS-CBN’s newest fantasy-drama series “Inday Bote” premieres on Monday (March 16). In the series, Alex will be paired with Matteo Guidicelli and Kean Cipriano.
“The story of ‘Inday Bote’ is perfect for the whole family this summer season. In the teleserye version, viewers will get to know Inday as a person, daughter, sister, and a young woman who learns to fall in love. The youth, especially teenagers, will surely learn a lot from Inday’s determination and her belief that there is nothing you cannot do, if you will follow your dreams,” said Alex about ABS-CBN’s TV adaptation of the masterpiece of veteran komiks novelist Pablo Gomez.
In “Inday Bote,” Alex will portray the character of Inday, a joyful young woman who has many dreams for herself and her family. Inday’s life begins to change when she is given a magic bottle inhabited by dwarves who have superpowers.

Joel Kinnaman, from Robocop to a Target in “Run All Night”
Swedish actor Joel Kinnaman (“RoboCop,” “The Darkest Hour”) stars as the son of Liam Neeson's character in Warner Bros. Pictures gripping action-thriller “Run All Night.”
In the film, Brooklyn mobster and prolific hit man Jimmy Conlon (Neeson), once known as The Gravedigger, has seen better days. Lately, it seems Jimmy’s only solace can be found at the bottom of a whiskey glass.
But when Jimmy’s estranged son, Mike (Kinnaman), becomes a target, Jimmy must make a choice between the crime family he chose and the real family he abandoned long ago. With Mike on the run, Jimmy’s only penance for his past mistakes may be to keep his son from the same fate Jimmy is certain he’ll face himself…at the wrong end of a gun. Now, with nowhere safe to turn, Jimmy just has one night to figure out exactly where his loyalties lie and to see if he can finally make things right.
Kinnaman's character, Mike, wants nothing to do with his father or his father’s line of work, not since Jimmy abandoned them years ago. A quick run as a professional boxer didn’t pan out, so in addition to his construction job, he drives a limo to support his wife and two kids.
Kinnaman describes Mike as “another casualty of his father’s lifestyle. He walked out on Mike when he was five and Mike’s lived his life just trying to be everything his father wasn’t.” The only time Mike has seen Jimmy in the past five years has been at his mom’s funeral, and even then Jimmy showed up drunk. Before that, it was only when he needed a place to hide out. “Jimmy has not been a father figure in any way and so Mike takes his own role as a dad very seriously. That’s why he works so hard; he’s trying to make ends meet for his family and his family is everything. It’s what he lives for,” says Kinnaman.
The actor had been on director Jaume Collet-Serra’s radar for some time. “I’m a fan of Joel’s and was just delighted that he came on board. He’s powerful in so many ways - mentally, physically, emotionally - and he brought all that to this character. He and Liam connected immediately.”
Both Kinnaman and Neeson agree that working out the father and son relationship on screen afforded them the chance to become close off screen.
Kinnaman shares, “I’ve always looked up to him, so it was a very special opportunity. It was a great honor to get to play alongside Liam. He’s had so many memorable performances.”
“It was wonderful working with Joel,” Neeson affirms. “We were very much a team, discovering our way through the emotional maze of this fractured father-son relationship. They are suddenly thrust into this situation where they have to trust each other, but Michael doesn’t know how to trust Jimmy.”

‘Sensory Couple’ releases character cuts of JYJ’s Yoochun and Shin Se Kyung
SBS’s upcoming drama ‘Sensory Couple’ has released the first character cuts of JYJ’s Yoochun and Shin Se Kyung today.
In the photo, Yoochun is seen dressing as a police officer with serious expression. He will play as a detective named Choi Moo Gak.
For Shin Se Kyung, she is seen sitting outside enjoying the spring breeze while having her juice and bread. In an addition cut, she shows a sporty and cute look as she is wearing a pink rabbit glasses.
‘Sensory Couple’ will be a mystery and suspense drama about a serial killer, and two people who help each other to overcome their tragic pasts. The drama will also include the humour element, making it a well-rounded pack for all the drama lovers this spring.
The first episode will go on air on April 1st following ‘Hyde, Jekyll, I’.

Cristine Reyes' premature baby now out of the hospital
Cristine Reyes took to Instagram on Monday to announce that her baby with boyfriend Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) fighter Ali Khatibi is now out of the hospital.
Baby Amarah was born on February 28, 2015, three days after Cristine's 26th birthday.
It was a premature delivery as Cristine was just seven months pregnant that time, reason why the baby had to stay at the hospital.
According to the actress, Baby Amarah had to stay in the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) for six days, plus another four days in the nursery.
The photo of the smiling Baby Amarah (above) was captioned by her mom with:

On the youtube channel of fouseyTUBE there is a social experiment where in this two man took separate cabs and installed a camera inside it. After fixing the cameras, they began telling the drivers how hard their life is. One of the man was telling the driver how hard it was for him to know that his girlfriend is breaking up with him while the other man tells the driver that he just got fired from his work and he still have a family to support.
The drivers of the cab began giving life advices and starts telling their own stories.
When one of the cab reached a parking lot, the man who told the driver that he was fired jumped off the cab and gave $60 instead of $28 to the driver, he also gave a paper which he said that it was a note and he should give it to the man's family. That's the time when the driver realized that this man is going to jump off the bridge that's why he followed him and stopped him from doing what he wanted. He told him about who he was going to leave and the driver's concern was the passenger's two year old boy.
While the other cab was on their way when they came across a bridge, he asked the driver to stop the cab and thanked him for everything that he said.
When the passenger jumped off the cab, the diver immediately followed him and asked what he is doing. The man just said that he was going to end his rough life.
The passenger asked the driver "WHY? DO YOU HAVE A ROUGH LIFE?"
"I drive this cab everyday, for 25 years. Some days I only make 10 dollars. You're talking about a rough life? this is a rough life" The cab driver told him.
After that, he hugged the driver and again thanked him. The driver even told him that he shouldn't finish his life because if he did it, his mother will cry and he doesn't want that to happen.

In the end, the man who said that he got fired from his work told the driver that everything they did was filmed. While the other man chose not to tell the driver about all the filming that happened because he saw that the driver was too attached and too affected with what's happening.

The production company, Golden Thumb Pictures confirmed on March 10th that Joo Ji Hoon and Soo Ae will be starring as the lead roles in ‘Mask’, which is scheduled to go on air in May.
This drama will mark both the actor and actress return to the small screen after 2 years since their respectively appearances in ‘King of Ambition’ and ‘Medical Top Team’.

KathNiel makes it to New York magazine's Top "Ships"
Crazy Beautiful You stars Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla, otherwise known as KathNiel made it to New York Magazine's Top "Ships" list for it's March 9-22 issue.
The list was based on the number of times the ship was tagged in a Wattpad story. In the US, ship (short for relationship) is the term used for loveteam or any romantic paring of two celebrities/characters.

"Bagito" to air its "Last Embrace" this Friday
ABS-CBN’s top-rating primetime drama series “Bagito” will surely keep its grip on TV viewers this week as the Nash Aguas-starrer airs its ‘Last Embrace’ this Friday (March 13).
Now that he is able to look after Baby Alby with the help of a hidden camera, Drew (Nash) gets into bigger trouble when he witnesses how bad Ralph (Alex Diaz) treats the child he thought was his own.

Kathryn Bernardo - 'Mr. DJ' (Official Music Video)
Star Music has released the music video for Kathryn Bernardo's version of "Mr. DJ."
The music video shows Kathryn singing "Mr. DJ" on a bed while photos of her and her love team Daniel Padilla float everywhere.
Daniel's nickname is DJ (for Daniel John) and the song seemed to have been made for Kathryn to sing to him. But, of course, we all know the song was a Sharon Cuneta original and it was composed long before Kathryn and Daniel were born.

Robin Padilla loses faith in the justice system; to leave the country soon
Robin Padilla expressed his disappointment through his Instagram account @robinhoodpadilla after the Quezon City Regional Trial Court granted temporary liberty to Datu Sajid Islam Ampatuan - a suspect in the 2009 Maguindanao massacre.
Ampatuan was released Monday, March 9 after he posted a bail set at P200,000 per murder account or P11.6 million .
In his Instagram post, Padilla emphasized his loss of trust in the justice system in the country, how the justice system is being ran by crooks and warlords.
He also said a short prayer and hinted of leaving the Philippines anytime soon.

Liam Neeson Stars as Mob Hitman in “Run All Night,” Showing March 12 in PH Theaters
In Warner Bros. Pictures' new heartstopping thriller “Run All Night,” Liam Neeson stars as mob hitman Jimmy Conlon, who, over the course of just one night, must face off with his former mob boss in order to protect his son.
“I loved how the story is full of action while it also examines the fractured relationships between two men who are like brothers, and a father trying to make amends with his son for things that happened years ago. It was complex and rich, with thrills and spills, and a lot of ‘what ifs,’” says Neeson. “What would have happened if Jimmy had taken this course instead of that course? But that’s the story of all our lives, isn’t it?”
Neeson once again teams up with director Jaume Collet-Serra (“Unknown,” “Non-Stop”), whom he describes as “like a brother,” and who the actor says, “sees action movies as symphonies.”
Collet-Serra reveals he immediately envisioned Neeson in the role of Jimmy. “It was a no-brainer. Not only does Liam have great range, but he has sons, and I knew he’d connect to the story on a whole other level.”
Neeson admits that the script hit a deeper chord with him, having sons who are at the age of discerning their own paths in life. “I can’t imagine losing their love or trust and I can relate to being willing to do anything - no matter what it takes - to get that back.”
Blood may be thicker than water but mafia ties outlast everything. Jimmy knows where the bodies are buried, because he put them there. But his secrets have cost him.
Neeson says of his character, “Jimmy’s part of a group that has a very unique set of morals and a code of ethics that they rigidly stand by. Loyalty is everything. And that’s his great conflict - and also what gets him into trouble. When push comes to shove, who does he choose?”
Collet-Serra points out, “Liam has obviously played a father before, but I think the difference with this character is that it’s not just about protecting or saving, it’s about earning back the title. For anybody who’s a father I would imagine losing that can be heartbreaking and you would do anything to reverse the situation.”
“Jimmy’s a remnant of a period that’s long gone, struggling to survive in a modern world that has no room for him anymore,” Neeson describes. “He gave everything up for his job and all he has left are his regrets. The closest thing he has to family now is his boss, Shawn. That’s who he goes to when he needs help, like money to pay the heating bill. That’s who has his back.”
“Jimmy carries a heavy burden, this loyalty to a crime family that is more like his family than his own, by his own choice. It’s a very honorable thing to try to keep that darkness away from his son. So he’s really caught in a bind,” says Collet-Serra. “Day one, first take, Liam brought all that to the character. That’s been my experience with him, on all the movies we’ve worked on. He’s a damn good actor and it’s always a pleasure.”
Trained to kill as a covert operations solider in the military, Jimmy came back home and when things didn’t work out, he fell back on what he knew how to do well.
Neeson offers, “Seeing what he’s seen and doing what he’s done, he could do what other people couldn’t do, so he took care of their dirty work. It’s been a few years now and he may be down, but he’s not out. He’s been involved in life-and-death issues, not just in Vietnam but in the concrete jungle of New York, so at the end of the day, he knows what to do to stay alive. He’s a survivor.”
In “Run All Night,” Brooklyn mobster and prolific hit man Jimmy Conlon (Neeson), once known as The Gravedigger, has seen better days. Lately, it seems Jimmy’s only solace can be found at the bottom of a whiskey glass.
But when Jimmy’s estranged son, Mike (Joel Kinnaman), becomes a target, Jimmy must make a choice between the crime family he chose and the real family he abandoned long ago. With Mike on the run, Jimmy’s only penance for his past mistakes may be to keep his son from the same fate Jimmy is certain he’ll face himself…at the wrong end of a gun. Now, with nowhere safe to turn, Jimmy just has one night to figure out exactly where his loyalties lie and to see if he can finally make things right.
