Newlyweds Aiza Seguerra and Liza Diño Ready to have a Baby Next Year

After their controversial same-sex marriage in the United States recently, Aiza Seguerra and Liza Diño reveals in “Tapatan Ni Tunying” airing this Thursday (December 25) that expanding their new family through in vitro fertilization (IVF) is next in their plans for 2015.

“The egg cells will be harvested from me, and then we will get a sperm donor for fertilization. The fertilized egg will be injected to Liza,” Aiza explains on how the said medical procedure will be conducted.

“I will be the surrogate of our baby. I’ll be carrying the baby,” Liza adds.

The newlywed couple also plans on hosting another wedding ceremony here in the Philippines.

Aiza immediately clarifies that the said celebration does not aim to advocate for the LGBT (lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender) community, but only to celebrate love.

“I know that as a person, I have the right to love, neither just as a woman or a man. As a person, I have the right to show my love to Liza and to share it with our loved ones,” says Aiza.

“It’s a celebration of love, our commitment to each other with our family, friends, and people we care about. That is the whole point of doing that here in the Philippines,” Liza adds.

MMFF 2014 Box Office: 1st Day Ranking

MMFF 2014 Box Office Gross Results: 1st Day Ranking | Which of the
entries is the top grosser on first day
The 40th Metro Manila Film Festival had a very successful opening
today, December 25, 2014
It's Christmas Day, and apparently, it has become a tradition already
for most Filipinos to go out and flock theaters for the first day of
the Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF).
There are 8 official entries this 2014, 8 choices for the moviegoers.
Which movie emerged as the top choice on opening day?
No official box office grosses yet coming from the MMDA committee, but
based on what I have observed at the mall cinemas, characterized by
very long queue and many sold-out screenings, I think 'The Amazing
Praybeyt Benjamin' starring Vice Ganda, Richard Yap, Tom Rodriguez,
Alex Gonzaga and Bimby Aquino Yap will take the #1 spot in the MMFF
2014 box office ranking for Day 1.
Long lines and sold-out screenings as well for Kris Aquino-Coco Martin
horror movie 'Feng Shui 2' and Vic Sotto-Ryzza Mae Dizon-Marian Rivera
film 'My Big Bossing'. These 2 could battle for 2nd and 3rd.
With lesser screenings than the above-mentioned films, any of 'Kubot:
The Aswang Chronicles 2', 'Shake, Rattle & Roll XV' and 'Bonifacio:
Ang Unang Pangulo' will take 4th, 5th and 6th slots.
The Bottom 2 perhaps, based on expectations even before the festival
started, are 'Magnum Muslim .357' and 'English Only, Please'.

Kevin Alas Strongly Denied Relationship with Vice Ganda, Revealed Vice Offered Kim Lo a Trip Abroad

The camp of PBA star Kevin Lo vehemently denied the cager's romantic connection with Vice Ganda, moreso, a sexual relationship with the blockbuster comedy star.

"Kevin swears, never syang nahawakan man lang ni Vice. Alam mo kung sinong in-offeran ni Vice na ipapasyal sa ibang bansa? ‘Yung kagi-guest lang na player ng UST, si Kim Lo. Siyempre, rejected ang lola mo. Yaman-yamanang full-blooded Chinese kasi si Kim Lo eh." someone close to Kevin clarified.

His friend also provided a copy of a text message sent by Kevin: "May group chat kasi kami yung tropa. Ako, Woody, Borgy, Garvo, Vice, Bernard, Dave, Marcelo. Nag-voice message kami tapos si Bimby ang sumasagot. Tapos yun niloloko ko si Bimby. Si Gabo nga nagre-reply din. Sabi ko nga sa group bakit di man lang si Gabo yung natandaan ni Bimby. Ako yung natandaan ni Bimby."

The source also said that the family of the former Letran player, particularly his mom, is very much affected on the issue.

Vice Ganda, in his interview with "Aquino & Abunda Tonight" on December 22, explained his relationship with Kevin as something not romantic.

"Hindi ko nga s'ya boyfriend. Nakakahiya talaga. Iyon nga 'yung hint. Kapag nakikita n'yong lumalabas kami, 'pag nakikita n'yong gumigimik kasama ko, hindi iyon ang boyfriend ko, kasi ang boyfriend ko hindi ko nilalabas." Vice Ganda said.

The rumor about Vice Ganda and Kevin's romance started when Bimby Yap, Vice's co-star in the MMFF 2014 movie entry "The Amazing Praybeyt Benjamin," accidentally referred to the cager as the comedian's boyfriend in a live interview on "The Buzz" on Sunday, December 21.

Vic Sotto rates Ryzza Mae Dizon’s acting

“Aktres talaga siya.”

This is how Vic Sotto rates “My Big Bossing” costar Ryzza Mae Dizon, who he says showed marked improvement since last year’s Metro Filmfest entry, “My Little Bossing,” where they also worked together.

“Dito sa “My Big Bossing,” dito mo makikita si Ryzza as an actress, not just an ordinary child actress. Actress talaga siya. Una sa lahat, tatlong roles ang ginampanan niya,” Vic added.

Ryzza had to learn new things for her different roles in the trilogy.

“Sa ‘Sirena,’ she had to learn how to scuba dive, swim like a dolphin, stay underwater for more than 20 seconds. Pagdating sa “Taktak,” she has to learn how to dress like Nora Aunor sa “Himala.” Pagdating sa “Prinsesa,” kailangan prinsesa siya talaga. So doon mo makikita yung pagli-level up niya bilang artista,” Vic said.

Second take

He added that Ryzza often asks for a second take if she is not happy with her performance.

“Nanghingi ng take two kasi gusto niyang magpatulo ng luha. Kahit kay Marlon (Rivera, director of the ‘Taktak’ episode), naloka nga si Marlon sa kanya kasi pack-up na, mamaya-mamaya konti, nanghihingi ng take two. Gusto daw umiyak. Ganoon siya kaseryoso. Nakakatuwa.”

Still, Ryzza enjoys her work by playing around the set. Vic said Ryzza is like a mom to co-star and fellow child actor Alonzo Muhlach (Nino Muhlach’s son).

“Makikita mo na nag-eenjoy siya sa kanyang ginagawa. Iyon bang hindi trabaho ito eh, ‘I know what I’m doing, I know this is acting. But at the same time, we’re enjoying what we’re doing.’”

Vic’s praises touched Ryzza, who wants to be effective on screen by showing various emotions.

“Kasi gusto ko pong umiyak. Iniisip ko po na kapag umiyak ako, iiyak yung mga manunuod. Kapag po tumawa ako, matatawa din po sila.”

Motivation

The nine-year-old Ryzza added that she is not satisfied until she gets a ‘very good take.’
“Ayaw ng good take, gusto ko po very good take.”

How does she motivate herself?

“Iniisip ko po yung eksena, kunyari, sa “Prinsesa,” yung nawawala po ako, wala akong nanay, baboy lang ang nanay ko. Lahat po na-enjoy ko. Yung pinakagusto ko yung “Sirena” kasi nasa beach kami sa Batangas, sosyal. What a life, bakasyon-bakasyon kung may time,” Ryzza said.

Ryzza’s Christmas wish is to work in a movie with Vic next year.

“My Big Bossing,” which opens in cinemas on December 25, also stars Marian Rivera, Nikki Gil, Pauleen Luna, Ruby Rodriguez, Maricar de Mesa and Nino Muhlach.

KC Concepcion on Paulo Avelino: It's all about timing

More than a year since they were romantically linked, KC Concepcion and Paulo Avelino have remained close friends.

“Siguro timing is everything talaga. Tsaka kung gustuhin man ni God, wala naman tayong control sa mga nangyayari. He’s at the age na marami pa siyang pwedeng gawin,” KC said at the press conference of ABS-CBN’s “Give Love on Christmas: Exchange Gift.”

Friendship or connection

Sharon Cuneta’s daughter added that they don’t know what the future holds, but things are looking up for her and Paulo.

“Kung magtutuloy-tuloy na maganda yung meron kami, kung friendship man iyon or yung connection namin, tuloy-tuloy na magkaintindihan at suportahan namin ang bawat isa na maging better people. Siyempre bakit mo naman ipapasok ang isang tao sa buhay mo kung ikasasama mo naman iyon? So far, parang okay naman, so as long as tuloy-tuloy naman, then we don’t know.”

KC understands Paulo has other priorities and responsibilities, the same way she has her own.

“I think between us, we know naman what we have, what we feel for each other. Honestly, ayaw ko lang siya ma-pressure for anything. He’s 26, tapos ako 28. I’m older than him by a couple of years. Siyempre ako may mga priorities ako na nag-iiba. Suddenly, narerealize ko na gusto ko ng ganito, ng ganyan. Mahirap to talk about relationship because he’s also coming from a different situation na iba din yung priorities namin. Kaya ayaw din naming i-label kasi doon din kami hindi nagmi-meet, to be honest.”

Enjoying the moment

The two don’t want to ruin the kind of relationship they have because of a label. KC shared that she is giving Paulo (he has a son by actress LJ Reyes) space “to grow as a man” and is always there to support him.

“Ayaw naming masira kung ano man ang meron kami. Bilang babae, respeto ko iyon na bigyan siya ng space to grow as a man. Ang importante sa akin, andito ako to improve ang buhay niya, hindi para maging liability,” she said.

Paulo agreed he and KC are enjoying what they have, while working on their priorities and goals. This connection seems more important to them than labeling their relationship.

“Hindi ko sasabihin na walang label kasi we’re best friends, we have this connection. We have different priorities as individuals. Focused naman kami sa mga gusto naming gawin sa buhay. Ayaw ko kasing i-brand as ligaw kasi maganda ang mga nangyayari sa amin. It’s more of what’s happening, it’s more of the connection and the kasiyahan na magkasama kami.”

Reunion project

“Exchange Gift” is KC and Paulo’s reunion project after “MMK (Maalaala Mo Kaya”) four years ago.
“It’s something fun to do kasi may mga fans na nagrerequest na una lang naming nakilala sa Instagram. Then suddenly, sila na gumagawa ng way para magkaroon kami ng project together,” KC said.

While stars who are romantically linked to each other avoid working together, the two stars agreed to the project for two reasons.

“The material is really good and it’s also a way for us to give back to our fans. Sila kasi nagrequest nito. Crush ko din si KC, so nakakatuwa na yung ka-eksena mo sobrang ganda. Nakakalimutan mo na lines mo at napapa-adlib ka kasi nakaka-mesmerize yung beauty niya,” Paulo said.
