ASAP 2012 Remains to be Philippines No. 1 Musical Variety Show

“ASAP 2012” is all set for a grand victory party this Sunday (November 25) as ABS-CBN’s noontime musical variety show recently won in the 26th PMPC Star Awards for TV as Best Best Musical/Variety Show, and its hosts Billy Crawford and Toni Gonzaga won as Best Male and Female TV Host.

The celebration continues as ASAP Kapamilya throws a royal send-off party for Bb. Pilipinas Universe Janine Tugonon, who will fly to Las Vegas to prepare for the Ms. Universe pageant in December.

Aside from the royal farewell for Janine, back-to-back jaw-dropping musical performances will surely reign in ASAP centerstage with the hair-raising vocal act of ballet musical “Rama Hari” lead stars Christian Bautista and Karylle together with Maestro Ryan Cayabyab and Ballet Philippines; and the must-see rock collaboration of Bamboo, Gloc 9, Jet Pangan, Wency Cornejo, and Parokya ni Edgar.

Zoren Legaspi-Carmina Villaroel Wedding Special on ABS-CBN

Wondering how the Zoren Legaspi-Carmina Villarroel wedding came about?
Watch the wedding coverage tonight on ABS-CBN right afterMaalala Mo Kaya. The special is part of the preparation Zoren Legaspi, the groom, had kept secret all along from Carmina Villarroel, the bride, who was told she had to be at the Fernbrook Gardens in Las Piñas.

“I was really clueless, that’s why when Zoren proposed to me under a cherry blossoms tree that he had made as part of the surprise, I couldn’t hold back my tears,” Carmina said during a get together at Patio Carlito recently to apologize to their media friends for not inviting them.

Zoren was really apologetic but was excited to tell everyone how he pulled the thing off, thanks to Dolor Guevarra, Carmina’s long-tine manager, and Shirley Kuan both of whom helped him in the wedding preparations.

Zoren said that even their twins had to be sworn in secrecy to surprise Carmina. The gown by Paul Cabral, said Zoren, had to be in stages so that she wouldn’t suspect.

It was a civil wedding officiated by Court of Appeals Justice Amy Javier.

Among the sponsors were Kris Aquino, Eric Quizon, Sharon Cuneta, Ben Chan, Felix Ang, John Concepcion and Cory Vidanes.
