5-year-old at Tanning Salon in NJ Got Burned


Patricia Krentcil, 44-year-old mom from New Jersey, is facing legal charges after she allegedly brought her 5-year-old daughter in one of the standup tanning booths in a tanning salon at Nutley, New Jersey.

Krentcil was arrested on a second degree child endangerment charge after the child sustained burns from time she spent in a tanning booth.

The child is now in the custody of her father, while Krentcil is out on bail.

New Jersey law prohibits anyone under 14 years of age from using a tanning booth. Older teens are allowed to tan but only with parental consent.

JORGE, NAGING KAMINERO NG MMDA SA “KRUSADA”

Dadanasin ni Jorge Cariño ang maging isang trabahador na kumikita ng minimum wage para sa "Krusada" kung saan sasabak siya sa paglilinis at pangangalkal ng mga maruruming kanal ng Maynila.

Maraming krimen ang hindi nasusulusyunan dahil sa kawalan ng ebidensiya ngunit mayroon namang pambihirang pagkakataong nabubuhay ang mga biktima nito para maging susi sa paglutas nito. Itatampok ni Gus Abelgas sa "SOCO: Scene of the Crime Operatives" ang apat na "survivor stories" o mga krimeng may pag-asa pang masolusyunan dahil sa mga biktimang nakaligtas sa mga ito tuwing Biyernes ngayong Mayo.

Ngayong Biyernes (Mayo 4), masasaksihan ang kaso ng dalawang magkaibang baklang pinagtangkaang patayin ng isang lalaking lasing. Himalang nakaligtas ang isa sa kanila na siyang naging susi upang bigyang hustisya ang nangyaring krimen.

Ilalahad naman sa Mayo 11 ang kwento ng magkakababatang dumanas ng marahas na hazing session sa isang fraternity kung saan ang isa sa kanila ay nabuhay habang ang isa nama'y napaslang at isinilid sa drum ang bangkay na iniwang palutang-lutang sa Pasig River.

Samantala, panggagahasa at pagpatay sa isang dalaga ang iimbestigahan ni Gus sa Mayo 18 kung saan nagkunwaring patay ang kapatid ng biktima matapos silang paghahampasin ng suspek. Ngunit dahil walang magawa, napanood niya ang karumaldumal na panghahalay sa kanyang kapatid ng kanilang kapitbahay.

Welcome to the reunion of the Class of 1999 from East Great Falls High. In the comedy American Reunion, all the American Pie characters we met a little more than a decade ago return for their high-school reunion. In one long-overdue weekend, they will discover what has changed, who hasn’t and that time and distance can’t break the bonds of friendship.

It was summer 1999 when four small-town Michigan boys began a quest to lose their virginity. In the years that have passed, Jim (Jason Biggs) and Michelle (Alyson Hannigan) married while Kevin (Thomas Ian Nicholas) and Vicky (Tara Reid) said goodbye. Oz (Chris Klein) and Heather (Mena Suvari) grew apart, but Finch (Eddie Kay Thomas) still longs for Stifler’s Mom (Jennifer Coolidge). They are joined by a supporting group of actors new to the series like Dania Ramirez as Selena, the East Great Falls ugly duckling whom no one thought would become so gorgeous; Katrina Bowden as Mia, Oz’s vapid model girlfriend; Chad Ochocinco as himself, playing Oz’s on-air co-host; Jay Harrington as Dr. Ron, Heather’s pompous cardiologist boyfriend; Ali Corbin as Kara, Jim’s sexy next-door neighbor; and Chuck Hittinger as AJ, Kara’s idiot boyfriend.

According to Marvel, it is definite that "Iron Man 3" and "Thor 2" will happen in 2013 and so with "Captain America 2" in 2014. But what about a stand-alone film for Black Widow and Hawkeye?

Although it is not clear yet, but a spin-off movies for Black Widow played by Scarlett Johansson and Jeremy Renner's Hawkeye could be next.

"All three franchises that we’ve launched so far had to work. If this didn’t work, it [would have] affected all the previous franchises extremely adversely.

There’s also the potential for additional franchises based on how strongly people are reacting to Jeremy , Scarlett and Mark [Ruffalo, who plays The Hulk]." Robert Downey Jr. revealed.

With his newfound popularity brought about by the success of Marvel's "The Avengers", will Mark Ruffalo's Hulk character deserve a new standalone Hulk movie?


Reports said that Ruffalo signed a new contract which will see him playing the Bruce Banner and his jolly green alter-ego in at least 6 more movies.

Ruffalo said:

“The experience was great… I really had a good time. It was fun, and I love that group of people.”

But Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige, revealed a disappointing news that new Hulk movie did not seem likely to happen.

"This was the third appearance of Hulk and everything that we had and were going for, we put in to Hulk's appearance in 'Avengers. So, I love that people are saying that and are feeling that way about Hulk, but mission accomplished at this point."

Marvel Entertainment's President of Consumer Products for North America, Paul Glitter, however, refutes Feige's statements by saying Hulk will get a stand-alone television program and a franchise movie in 2015.

"When it’ll be, who knows… But the conversation’s definitely started." Glitter said.

The Hulk character has already been the center of two movies, “Hulk” with Eric Bana, and “The Incredible Hulk,” with Edward Norton which both received a mediocre response from moviegoers.

31-year-old singer-actress Jessica Simpson welcomes her newborn baby girl with 32-year-old fiance, former NFL football player Eric Johnson, on Tuesday, May 1.

The baby they named Maxwell Drew Johnson weighs in at a healthy 9 pounds 13-ounces.

"Eric and I are elated to announce the birth of our baby girl. This has been the greatest experience of our lives." Simpson wrote on her website.



The child is the first for both Simpson and Johnson.

McDonald's, which has been a long-standing sponsor of the Olympics, will open its mega-restaurant store located within the Olympic park in London six weeks from now in time for the 2012 London Olympic games.




The store covers 32,292 square feet and is equivalent to about half the length of a standard football field - enough to seat 1,500 people at a time.

The world’s largest McDonald’s will be staffed by 2,000 people, who are estimated to serve more than 50,000 Big Macs and 180,000 servings of French fries.




“To be involved in the greatest sporting event on earth is hugely exciting and we are delighted to be able to celebrate one year to go by showcasing these plans.

“Visiting McDonald’s is fun and the design and graphics in these restaurants will take that to new heights.
