Vice Ganda has 4 lookalikes in Kalokalike Face 3 semifinals

Vice Ganda has not just 1 but FOUR lookalikes who made it to It's Showtime 'KalokaLike Face 3' semifinals, which already started today, Feb 28, and will continue 'til the next 2 weeks, leading to the grand finals on March 14. (It reminds me of Vice's MMFF 2013 movie 'Girl, Boy, Bakla, Tomboy' where he portrayed 4 characters.)

Of the 4 look-alikes (1 is actually a girl, the Lady Gaga impersonator during Kalokalike Face 2), I think only one of them has a legitimate
shot of making it to the Grand Finals, and he is Daniel Aliermo, the Vice Ganda of Davao City. He absolutely looks like Vice from any angle, sounds like him and can also copy the comedian's gestures. But I won't mind if 2 or 3 or even all of them make it to as among the grand finalists. It's 4X the fun!

The "parade of stars" featuring all 53 semi-finalists took place earlier on Showtime, and 5 of them already competed for a grand final slot. They are the lookalikes of Katy Perry, Bamboo, Alex Gonzaga, Cesar Montano and Ai-Ai de las Alas, but only 2 (Katy, Cesar) got 3
big stars from the judges Kyla, Sir Willie Nepomuceno and Jhong Hilario, and have now qualified to the finals.

Cavite Vice Gov. Jolo Revilla, a son of jailed Sen. Ramon “Bong” Revilla, was rushed to a hospital for a gunshot wound  on his upper right chest, Cavite Gov. Juanito Victor Remulla said.

“He sustained a gun shot that went through his upper right chest. I don’t know how it happened,” Remulla said in a phone interview Saturday. “He’s alive.”

Revilla was brought to Asian Hospital and Medical Center in Muntinlupa City, according to Senator Revilla’s talent manager Lolit Solis.

She said the younger Revilla was hit hard by his father’s incarceration. “Jolo idolizes Bong. Jolo lost a source of strength,” Solis told Inquirer.

“It’s too painful,” she said.

Remulla said the incident happened “this (Saturday) morning,” although he did not provide any more details as of this time.

Clifford Elorde, media officer for Senator Revilla, said the family would issue a statement soon. “The Revillas are asking for prayers for Jolo,” Elorde said.

Cavite Vice Gov. Jolo Revilla sustains gunshot

Actor and Cavite Vice Gov. Jolo Revilla, was rushed to a hospital Saturday morning, February 8, due to gunshot wound he sustained on his upper right chest, News came came from Cavite Gov. Juanito Victor Remulla.

“He sustained a gun shot that went through his upper right chest. I don’t know how it happened,” Remulla said in a phone interview on Saturday. “He’s alive.”

Revilla is currently confined at Asian Hospital and Medical Center in Muntinlupa City, according to showbiz columnist Lolit Solis who also serves as talent manager of the actor/politician.

Solis told broadsheet paper Inquirer that the younger Revilla was hit hard by his father’s incarceration due to the pork barrel scam.

“Medyo humina loob niya”, Solis said, adding the son “lost a source of strength and stability.”

“Jolo idolizes Bong. Jolo lost a source of strength,” she added

Solis declined to give further details. “Let’s wait. It’s too painful,” she said. “I’m crying over what happened.”

“The Revillas are asking for prayers for Jolo,” Clifford Elorde, media officer for Senator Revilla, said the family would issue a statement soon.

After much postpone, actor Choi Jin Hyuk finally confirms his enlistment date to be on March 31st.

A rep from Red Brick House revealed on February 28th that the actor will enlist as active duty on March 31st. In particular, he will hold his last fan meeting in Korea before his enlistment today.

The fan meeting will take place at KT&G Sangsang Art Hall, Gangnam, Seoul at 2 PM KST with only domestic fans invited. Park Kyung Lim will be the MC for the event.

Since this will be his last official public schedule before enlisting in the army so there will be many special stages and events especially prepared for the fans.

He will no be recovering from the sickness. The medicines and the ventilator is just prolonging Jam's stay along with his family.

On this video, Jam Sebastian's family and friends are deeply emotional because of his state right now. He could not even speak, his hand gestures are the only way that he could communicate with them.

Madonna fell off the stage at the 2015 Brit Awards held Wednesday, Feb 25, 2015 at The O2 Arena in London.

The Queen of Pop Madonna was singing her song "Living For Love" for the finale of the Brit Awards 2015 when it happened (it's the same song she sang at the 2015 Grammys).

As shown in the Youtube video uploaded by Jonah Lavigne, Madonna was accidentally pulled down the stage while the dancers were removing the Armani cape from her neck. Watch!

I can feel, it was really really painful and I'm amazed that at 56 years old, Madonna was strong enough to withstand the pain at that very moment, recovered quick and continued with her performance.

And that deserves an applause! Madonna also proved to all that she was really singing live.

Incidentally, the song Madonna was singing had these lines: "Now that it's over I'm gonna carry on. Lifted me up, and watched me stumble. After the heartache I'm gonna carry on. Living for love."

In her Instagram account, Madonna assured everyone she's okay and said that her Armani cape, which was specially-made for her Brit Awards 2015 Performance, was tied too tight.

Mo Twister criticizes Manny Pacquiao's Instagram post

Controversial radio personality Mo Twister recently criticized Manny Pacquiao's announcement of the Pinoy boxing champ's fight versus Floyd Mayweather on May 2.

It's not the fight per se but Pacquiao's using the name of God that the fight has pushed through.

Mo's three-part tweet read:

"First of all, as a sports fan, thrilled about the @FloydMayweather @MannyPacquiao fight! But for Manny to say Glory to God that the fight is on, yet it's a barbaric form of entertainment wherein you hurt humans in exchange for massive wealth, doesn't make sense. You hurt people for a living, to be rich, for pride (ours and yours) so leave shouldnt God be left out of it?" the radio DJ posted.

On February 21, Manny took to Instagram to post a photo collage of him, Floyd and part of the contract. He captioned it with: "Finally he sign the contract so the fight is on, this is what im talking about that I sign already before, im just explaining to the fans and to prove that im not lying, i have the fear of the Lord. So this is it! The fight is on fans you deserve it thank you. to God be all the Glory."

Meanwhile, boxing fans all over the world are excited for the Mayweather-Pacquiao megafight at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.

When one Instagram user asked Gawad Tanglaw Best Actress awardee Angelica Panganiban why she wasn't present at the Manila reception of Heart Evangelista's wedding last week, she said that she wasn't invited.

While Heart's Manila wedding reception was happening, Angelica was spotted in the audience wearing a blue lipstick (pun intended) during a fight of Blue Eagles spiker Alyssa Valdez. She is a self-proclaimed fan of Valdez, by the way.

Panganiban and Evangelista were co-stars in ABS-CBN defunct youth-oriented show G-Mik and later in Berks in early 2000s.

But just when everything seemed fine and okay, one fan opened up the issue on Heart Evangelista.

"Di mo ba talaga invited hearty si angelica?", asked one Instagram user to Mrs. Chiz Escudero to which the latter replied with, "I did she said she can't make it kasi may trip sila to Japan:)".

A gigantic catfish that is huge enough to swallow a whole human was caught in Italy.

With almost 9 feet and 127 kilograms, the catfish was captured by Dino and Dario Ferrari.

The twin brothers caught the catfish in February 19. Based on the post of Sportex Italia, the brothers used only a rold and line to capture the huge catfish.

Being dubbed by the Italian Media, "The Monster of the Po River" took more than 40 minutes before they could finally get a hand of the giant creature.

They took a photo with the giant catfish and then weighed out the giant creature and after that they released it back to the river where it belongs.

The fish was believed to be somewhere around 30 years old based on the weight and size of it.

Kapamilya teen actress Julia Barretto posted on her Instagram account @juliabarretto a photo of her with father Dennis Padilla. She captioned it with, "Papa being his comedian self".

The photo which received more than 26,000 likes within two hours since it was posted elicited mixed reactions from netizens. Fans of the teen actress said they were happy and wished that the good relationship with her father to continue.

Others were doubting and questioned the sincerity.

Julia found herself in the midst of negative criticisms from netizens since then and most recently got involved with another snubbing incident with her father in a party.

That was the consensus among Spice Girl Melanie C, Indonesian singing star Anggun and producer and hitmaker David Foster—fellow judges in the upcoming reality competition “Asia’s Got Talent.”
That’s because the Taiwanese-American pop idol, best known for his stint with the Taiwanese boy band F4 and his role in the phenomenal telenovela “Meteor Garden,” remembers how it was like in the early days of his career.

“That’s how I started, you know, just pursuing each part of my career slowly, bit by bit, piece by piece and so I just sympathize with them,” he said.

He related especially to the younger talents, seeing them try their best and do something they love.

It was also a stint he really prepared for.

Took his sweet time

But  first he had to decide whether he really wanted to join the reality competition or not.

“I took my sweet time,” he confessed, trying to figure out how to squeeze the show into a packed schedule that included shooting two movies.

He was also curious to know who would join him in the judging panel.


Foster sealed the deal

When he learned producer-songwriter David Foster was joining AGT, it became easy for his to say yes.

“That was one of the big one for me,” he confessed.

“I’m a huge fan of him its been so amazing to have been worked with him, and with Melanie and I feel really blessed to have this opportunity.”


Doing their homework

Just like the acts of the show, the four judges also did prep work.

Van Ness said he watched all the “Got Talent” shows on YouTube to see how it went.

“In the very beginning it was quite nerve wracking because you don’t know what you’re supposed to (look for). It took a couple of auditions for us to get comfortable with the buzzers and go down on it,” he said.


Advice

And for making it in the cutthroat entertainment industry, Van Ness cites talent, hard work and having an open mind as necessary qualities.

“Be humble and grateful at the right time and the right place and don’t give up,” he added.

When things begin to get hectic, just remember to “breathe, relax and just enjoy the moment.”


"Asia’s Got Talent" starts on March 12 at 8.05 pm, with subsequent episodes airing Thursdays, 8:30 pm on AXN.

No. We're not making some announcements regarding her engagement or wedding talks with Luis Manzano because these are things are yet to happen. As what Angel said, "“Basta, ang alam ko, I’m committed to do Darna after my movie with Tita Vi."

Two Best Actress Trophies in 1 Week

Angel Locsin bagged two Best Actress trophies for her portrayal as Monica De Villa in ABS-CBN's 2014 hit primetime series The Legal Wife. She received her first trophy from Gawad Tanglaw last Thursday, February 19 at the University of Perpetual Help in Las Piñas City. 

Locsin also went up the stage of the 1st Paragala: The Central Luzon Media Awards Saturday night, February 21 for her second Best Actress trophy for The Legal Wife.

Angel Locsin returns to It's Showtime

Angel Locsin will return to ABS-CBN's noontime show It;s Showtime as co-host from last week of March and first week of April this year.

She will also be returning for an all-out acting performance at the the country's longest running drama anthology - MMK this March. It will be her fifth episode after her last appearance via Mask episode with Paulo Avelino last October 2013. Other episodes Locsin has appeared in are Pilat (Sam Milby), Blusa (Dimples Romana), and Litrato (Jake Cuenca).

Untitled movie with Ms. Vilma Santos

Angel is slated to start shooting a yet to be titled movie with no less than the Star for All Seasons, Ms. Vilma Santos, starting March this year. The movie will be handled by Bb. Joyce Bernal.

A delay in shooting for the movie was encountered due to Santos's hectic schedule as governor of Batangas. She also had some minor allergies on her nose last month.
