Angelo Castro is Dead
Veteran broadcast journalist Angelo Castro, Jr. succumed to death due to lung cancer on April 5, Maundy Thursday . He was 67 years old. Also known as ACJ, the former World Tonight anchor died at St. Luke's Medical Center surrounded by his wife, June Keithley, their son, Diego, and other family members. ACJ joined ABS-CBN in 1986 when it re-opened after the EDSA revolution. He anchored several news and current affairs specials in ABS-CBN and ANC including the ANC Chronicles, a special on the top stories covered by ANC over the past 15 years.
