Jiro Manio Leaves Rehab, Graduates in High School

On Thursday, March 29 former multi-awarded child star Jiro Manio receives triple blessings.
Firstly, he leaves Home Care - a rehabilitation center where he stayed for almost a year for use of illegal drugs.
Secondly, he graduated from high school at RESPCI (Rizal Experimental Station and Pilot School of Cottage Industries) in Pasig City. Not just that, he also received a special award as Most Inspiring Student.
In his interview with ABS-CBNnews, Jiro said he gave credit to God for surviving this dark chapter in his young life, thanked those who stood by him during his time in rehab and gave a message to the youth.
“Nakatapos ako ng high school dahil sa tiyaga, haba ng pasensya, pagpapasalamat sa Diyos, sa pamilya at mga kaibigan na sumusuporta parin sa ’kin sa kabila ng pagpasok ko sa rehab. Nandoon pa rin sila at hindi nila ko iniwan sa ere.” Jiro said during the baccalaureate mass for his graduation. He also added, “,Sa mga kabataan, unahin nila ‘yung pagiging maka-Diyos nila, ‘yung kanilang mga kaibigan, ‘yung kanilang mga kagustuhan, at higit sa lahat ‘yung pagmamahal sa sariling pamilya, ‘yung galing sa puso na pag-ibig.”
