The John Lloyd Cruz and Angel Locsin starrer earned in an additional P13.81 million on its 4th week of screening in 45 major theaters nationwide. If you will remember, the movie had an opening gross (first 5 days) of P71.53, the best opening performance by a local movie so far this year. As of March 11, it has accumulated a total of P157.25 million at the box-office.
“Unofficially Yours”, which opened last February 15 is the 7th film of John Lloyd to rake more than P100 million in the box office and formally now the third highest-grossing film of him, surpassing the ticket sales of “Miss You Like Crazy (P143.25-M),” “In My Life (P137.4-M)” and “My Amnesia Girl (P144.82-M)”. “Unofficially Yours” is currently the no. 1 highest-grossing Filipino movie of 2012 so far followed by “A Mother’s Story” and “My Cactus Heart”.
Meanwhile, the another local film currently showing in theaters, the action movie “Hitman” starring Cesar Montano earned a 3-week gross of P5.75 million.
