In an interview with the press last March 21, Robin said he still finds it hard to accept his brother’s new identity–that of BB Gandanghari–now that he’s back in the country after staying in the US for a few years.
But according to Kylie, her father is just getting used to BB.
“Tanggap naman ni Papa, kaso hindi siya yung talagang… may ano pa rin, hindi siya sanay. Pero tanggap naman niya basta masaya yung tita ko, si tita BB. Kasi lumalabas naman lahat kami e, na magkasama,” she said in an interview with the press.
Kylie also said that the family already discussed BB’s gender preference a couple of years ago.
“Nag-agree naman kami na basta masaya si Tita BB, magiging masaya na rin po kami,” the 19-year-old actress said.
She added, “But I don't think I have the right to tell my dad (what to do) kasi usapang magkapatid yan, e.”
‘Magkaibigan pa rin’
Kylie is yet to have the opportunity to bond with her aunt since “she’s getting together with her other friends muna, kasi ang tagal niyang nawala.” But the young star attended the family’s party for BB last March 31. This was why she wasn’t able to attend Aljur Abrenica’s birthday party in Batangas City.
As for the status of her relationship with Aljur, Kylie said, “Ganun pa rin. Magkaibigan pa rin. Walang pagbabago.” She gave Aljur a pair of Ray-Ban shades for his 22nd birthday.
The lead star of “The Good Daughter” said she wants to spend the Holy Week in Baguio.
“Just to relax. Papasyal lang,” Kylie said.
“Gusto ko munang mapag-isa, mag-isip, magpahinga, kasi the show, I’m really getting involved in the show, nakakapagod din,” she added. “Para matahimik lang. Kailangan paminsan yun, e. Pahinga talaga.”
“The Good Daughter” airs weekdays on GMA-7’s Afternoon Prime.
