“Right now, we’re taking it one step at a time. We’re not trying to rush anything. And we’re very happy. When the time comes, we’ll see what happens. And as I’ve said before, I want a future with Angel and that’s still the way I feel, and I hope I do have a future with her,” he shared in an interview at the launch of Snickers’ “You’re Not You When You’re Hungry” campaign at the SM Mall of Asia Music Hall last Friday, April 13.
Phil, who from the start has had no qualms talking about his feelings for Angel, disclosed that their love is stronger
“And with every day, I’m more and more in love with her,” he said.
Phil and Angel have been “unofficially” seeing each other since February last year, after Phil admitted to having a crush on the actress.
Their individual careers seem to be in bloom as well. Angel was named Best Actress in this year’s Star Awards for movies for “In the Name of Love,” while Phil brought home the top scorer trophy from the 2012 AFC Challenge Cup in Kathmandu, Nepal where the National Football Team also placed third—a first for the country.
‘We’re lucky, we’re very blessed. So I think we’re good for each other,” he adds.
